Swipe up still doesn't reveal the mobile data icon in iOS8
I frequently need to switch on and off mobile data on my iphone 5S, which I find to be an unnecessarily messy operation. I was hoping that Apple would have realised this by now and included the mobile data icon as a shortcut for when we swipe up from the bottom of the screen (rightly next to the wi-fi icon). Am I the only person who feels this need? Is there a way around this? Thanks.

What are you getting on the TV? Are you getting a completely blank screen, or are you getting a message similar to 'no input detected'? Or are you seeing the spiral galaxy desktop? If you go into System Preferences -> Displays then do you have an 'Arrangements' tab?

I updated my LG G3 this week and now it SUCKS! When I'm connected to WIFI, nothing on Facebook works. The photos and videos won't populate. I have to turn off the WIFI and only use the mobile data. Not to mention, I really hate the way it looks now. Before I updated my phone, I really liked it, now I don't like my phone at all! When will this be fixed? I hope it's soon. I'm thinking of changing providers now.
Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Then restart your iPad.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, then swipe the slider to power off.
Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Downgrading is not an option for an iOS device. -
I am having a problem. When I click on the Mobile Facebook icon it acts like it is going to start opening then it quits and goes back to the icon. So I can't use Facebook on my iPhone 4
Force quit the application and try again.
Try a reset or restart of the device, trying the app after each step. -
I am trying to mirror my iPad 2 with my Apple TV . I hit the home button twice, scrolled through the app icons but still do not see the air play icon? I did check to confirm that both devices are on the same network.
Yes they are both on the same network and I enabled air play on the TV. I finally located the icon on my iPad last night and succeeded in mirroring. It seems the instructions from apple were confusing me. They said tap the home button twice and then scroll to the right. The icon however is on the left side of the screen and shows as what I would call a button as opposed to an icon, located among the buttons of a mini player. Anyway, found it last night and now am enjoying the mirroring feature. Thanks for all the help.

Share os10 wifi connection (not the mobile data)
Hello Gentlemen, Quick question: how to share the wifi connection of my bbz10 with tethering or mobile hotspot or whatever. I am connected to a wifi netwrok with the phone and I want to share this wifi with my laptop (unfortunately I cant connect ti this network with my laptop). I do not want to use the mobile data, but if I press tethering it tries to force me to enable mobile data. cheers.

Nope...the HotSpot function works by using the carrier data network connection on the device for any other devices connected to the devices WiFi hotspot. When the hotspot is activated, the ability for the device to use WiFi for data is deactivated. There is no bridge between WiFi data for the device and other devices connected via WiFi.

Assumption ...you are in UK
If you purchased the iPhone from Vodafone it will be locked to them
You will need to request they unlock the iPhone before you can use
it on Orange no other way
In UK Apple are the ONLY source of unlocked new iPhones -

I bought a new iPhone 4 last month, totally fell in love with it untill there was this problem regarding the apn disappearing. I manually added the apn info and it worked fine for some time but soon after I disabled the mobile data/3g connection and enabled it later I always use to get a msg saying "Could not activate mobile data network" even after it being active( 3g symbol always used to be poped up at the top). Though the apn is filled with a valid data it shows me the same msg over and over again. It some times works on rebooting but the rebooting the handset everytime i want to use the connection sounds very pestering. I have set up all the iCloud on my iPad and iPhone both are the latest version but they don't seem to sinc with each other does this take some time? I am connected to the Internet via wifi do I need to turn the mobile data to on on both maybe??

You need to turn the services you want to sync (calendars, contacts etc) on on both devices from settings > iCloud. -
When I'm on iChat, it doesn't show the video chat icon. When I try to change it, it tells me that my camera doesn't support video chats. Please help

I updated my phone to iOS 7 and ever since then I don't have the App Store. It's really frustrating because I have restored my phone and it still doesn't have it. I don't know if it can be fixed, but if anyone knows how to fix it please let me know!

Why SQLPLUS Banner doesn't reveal the exact Edition of DB software Install?
SQLPLUS Banner or any view in Oracle database reveals the exact edition of Database software installed, it would be easy to identify the installation.
Always one has to depend of OUI logs to identify the installation type.
Enterprise Edition install is revealed by Sqlplus banner.
Standard Edition install is revealed by Sqlplus banner.
But other installs, Standard Edition One is not revealed by sqlplus banner or any other view in database.
If by chance OUI logs are deleted or overwritten, no other means find the installation type.
Isn't it easy for Oracle Customer, if this information is stored in any view of Database or file of Oracle Software....!

IOS 7 doesn't change the lighting bolt icon when iPhone 4s is fully charged
When I connect my iPhone 4s to a plug and it starts charging, I can see a lightning bolt on iOS7 next to the battery, but when it is fully charged it doesn't change to a plug icon as it used to change on iOS 6. Any suggestions? Does it damage my battery?
Well, for the time being (I mean, if Apple does not go back to the bolt/plug icons) if the device shows 100% then it's fully charged.
