I am not able to understand the relation between the configuring DNS and affecting SAP installation. If you do not want to do the host file change or DNS configuration, i wonder how could your url request with Ip adress and port knows the physical server to reach.

Yeah, agree with words of TP. You can able to access 2 RDP session without purchasing any single RDS CAL or license server installed. As that is used only for administrative purpose.

How do I allow another user to access my pictures, etc?

still getting used to the Mac feel, after switching over from Windows, and I have a question that I can't seem to find an answer to.
I have the following issue:
Under my account, I have all our family photos and documents. I have also set up a user account for my wife. When she logs on, she can't access our photos, etc., because she has no read/write rights. (Which is logic, since they are my "private" folders.
I have then logged on myself, used the "info" button on the respective folders in order to give her user the rights to access my folders, but I can't seem to "allow everyone" to access the folder(s). What are the settings I need to use?

I have tried to recreate this myself, and your right even after changing ownerships and movie the iPhoto library to the public folder ( Harddrive/Users/Sharing) the second account is still not allowed to access the library. This is strange behaviour because moving the iTunes Music Library to Sharing does allow all users to access the library.
All I can suggest is that you deselect the option in iPhoto preferences (Advanced) to "copy files to iPhoto library" then store your photos in a folder that resides in the Harddrive/Users/Sharing folder - then your wife can use the import command to add them to her copy of iPhoto (she should also deselect the copy to library option)

SA520W: Restricting access to configuration utility

I have setup multiple vlans on my SA520W. I would like to restrict access to the configuration utility to only users on the default vlan. Currently, the configuration utility is available to all the vlans on each of the vlan's default gateway IP address. I'm currently using firmware: 2.1.51. Is this possbile? This device will be handling both office and customer Internet access. I can't have customers getting to the configuration utility, regardless of how difficult/complex the passwords are. Thank you.

'This scenario is not supported by SA500' is a completely unacceptable answer. The SA520W is meant to provide multiple SSIDs/VLANs in order to provide both 'corporate' access and 'guest' access via WiFi. Allowing a guest to access the configuration utility page and attempt to hack the SA's password is totally unacceptable.
Do you really want a visitor to be able to try and hack the SA's password???
How about the guy in the car in the parking lot?!!!!!
The SA stands for Security Appliance. This is Security 101.
Please provide a solution for this most Basic functionality, or release a firmware update to fix this gaping hole in security.

Its not necessary that if you hav super admin role that you can access the system information.You need to hav the the credentials of the "administrator".
you can find out the system configuration details from the url
http:<hostname:portno>/index.html
click on system configuration.
you can accesses those details if you are having administrator role only.If u dont have it contact your portal admin or basis people they can help you out.

How do I allow all users on a single computer access to music without duplicating songs?

There has got to be a way to allow all users on a single computer access to a single -shared- directory without DUPLICATING the songs, but I can't figure it out. Tried Edit | Preferences | Advanced | Change, but the songs do not show up. Tried Sharing the folders. Tried Public Folders. Just want all my songs in one place to save space, prevent duplicates. Please advise.

Move the iTunes folder from its current location to, say, C:\iTunes.
With each account in turn press and hold down shift and click the icon to start iTunes, keep holding until asked to Choose or create a library.
Choose the library at C:\iTunes, or wherever you put it.
Job done.

Cannot Configure Hyper-V Virtual Switch - VM has no internet access...

As stated in the title, I cannot configure my VM (OS Windows 7 Pro...) to access the internet...
When I attempt to configure a Virtual Switch with all defaults, I get this error: 0x800705B4.
I found an article online that advised to create the Switch internally without choosing the 'Connect to external network' option, then manually bridging the connections... which also didn't work...
Now I've got 'Hyper-V Virtual Ethernet Adapters' Stuck in my Device Mgr, and my VM still won't connect to the internet.
Help?

Some Internet providers that limit access to a single device at a time do so by the device's hardware MAC address. If your ISP is one of those, you may be able to substitute the MAC address of your AirPort Express base station for the computer. The designer is usually someone who just handles the user interface portion of the code. The developer would handle core functionality. I assumed you were the developer and the designer was the designer. You are the client and your "designer" is the developer.
Ideally, you should create a business account so that you can add someone to your team. That is the way it is supposed to work. Otherwise, you will have to ask for the final source code so that you can build and submit the app yourself. You should always have the source code regardless. You should always perform the submission under your own account too. Otherwise, it is the developer's app, not yours.
Sharing accounts is against the Apple Developer agreement anyway. The App Store Gold Rush is over. Now it is mostly zombie apps and competing fraudsters. You don't want to give someone access to your iTunes account. You really don't want to give someone access to your bank account either.
The best solution would be to convert your account to a business account. You may be able to have the developer submit the app and then transfer it to you.

You have to explicitly share directories on external/secondary volumes.
Use the Server admin app to configure file sharing, and select which directory/directories on the second drive you want to share, then they'll be available to clients.
