Switch between google accounts

My girlfriend and I use our z2 with our own Google accounts. How can we easily switch between then so we can see our own gmail, chrome bookmarks etc?

I guess on google play you should be able to change from one to another, about gmail and chrome,I am not sure.Logout from the one you are on and login to the other.

  • With version 9.0.1 I can no longer switch between Google accounts properly

I have a personal Google account and a Google apps account (via my employer, with a custom domain). I normally can log into either one and switch between the two using the "switch accounts" function. This currently works in chrome, and worked in Firefox until I received an upgrade to v9.0.1 today. Now the option to access the other account just isn't there anymore.
This feature is accessed from gmail by clicking on my name in the top right nav bar and choosing "switch accounts". You must have this feature turned on in the settings for both accounts to make this work. I use this to, for instance, read all my mail in one account and use the calendar or docs from the other one.
Anyone have the same experience? Anyone have a suggestion as to why or a solution?

    Thanks for confirming things Vivek.Wilfred.
FYI, for future others with this problem: After a couple hours of playing around it was fixed, though I'm not sure what finally did it. Be sure that you try Google's "Sign Out of All Accounts", and not just the regular sign out option.

  • Switching between Google accounts when signing in to PC Companion

I'm sure i must be missing something.
When trying to sync calendar and contacts in PC Companion on a PC running windows 7 with my Xperia V, it's asking me to sign in.
There are 2 google accounts in use on this PC but PC Companion is trying to use the wrong one. So I clicked on 'Sign in with a different account', filled in the correct username and password but PC Companion stops at a screen saying 'you have refused to allow access to your google account' or words to that effect.
I'm scratching my head trying to work out why it doesnt just accept the alternative google account and press on with synching.
I've rebooted both devices in case something has just got stuck but to no avail.
    Anyone got any ideas?

Sorry to hear that you have issues with PC Companion.
First try enabling access for less secure apps in the account you want to sync with and see if that helps: https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps
If PC Companion is currently configured to sync with the wrong account (you can see which account it currently uses at the top in the synchronization view, tap "Help" at the top right, follow the guide and tap the log out option when at the step for the Google settings and then log on with the other account.

  • HT201320 How do I switch between gmail accounts

I've just purchased an iPad and can someone pls tell me how I switch between email accounts so both myself and my mother can access our respective accounts?

Just select the email account that you want to access in the Mailboxes window of the Mail app. Did you set up both email accounts in the Mail app?

  • HT202157 switching between itunes accounts

i just upgraded my itunes account tonight.  i have a question: is the switching between itunes accounts legal?  How do they know you are not getting a friends account info and watching their movies?  Does anyone know the answer to how this works and if it is legal?
    Thanks,

The potential to associate a computer to an account for 90 days has been possible for a number of years like it has been on iOS devices, and can happen if you use iTunes Match, automatic downloads or redownload past purchases (though, based on some posts I've seen, it doesn't always seem to happen) - I believe it's an attempt to try and stop people logging into their account on other people's computers or devices and redownloading/sharing their content, not to stop people having multiple accounts.
It shouldn't stop you buying new content on the account, just doing any of the above three things. If you want to do one of them on your other account then you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will remove the current association, but if you then do one of them on the other account then you are likely to start a 90 association to that account instead : Manage your associated devices in iTunes - Apple Support.

All fixed! It was TeamViewer that was causing the problem.

How do I set up Snow Leopard so that when I switch between user accounts the screen gives the appearance of swiveling on an axis?

That is strange, I never noticed before, but I just tested a few scenarios, it looks like it only rotates on the first login of another user... OR... after another user logs out and you choose another logged in one.

  • Easily switching between skype accounts on same ma...

    Hello,
I had an old version of Skype that allowed me to easily switch between my company's skype account and my personal account. There was an "account" tab and a "sign in as different user" option that then showed the other account I wasn't currently signed into and allowed me to switch without having to enter login info (it saved passwords and usernames).
Now I have version 5.3.0.1093 and I have to sign out of skype and sign back in by entering username and password. Does anyone know how to do this in a more fluid way like the older version?
    thanks!

    while I don't have solution to your problem, I may have a considerable suggestion that may help you.  You can actually run two Skype accounts at the same time in the same computer;

  • Switching between CC accounts on one PC

    Hi everyone,
I have my own private Creative Cloud subscription - everything works great. Recently I've got the corporate account for teams from my work. Is there any way to switch between accounts smoothly? Especially I'd like to have both Creative Cloud folders on my PC available to synchronise, without uploading/downloding files through web browser.

Moving this discussion to the Creative Cloud forum.
Are you planning on continuing your current personal subscription to the Creative Cloud?  If not then you can deactivate your current license by selecting Help>Deactivate.  You can then relaunch the software and choose the option to License this Software and enter the Adobe ID for the subscription you are wishing to use.
Regarding your inquiry for the Creative Cloud Connection you can sign out and sign in with the other account.  I would recommend just utilizing the web interface at https://creative.adobe.com/ if you only need occasional access to files on your personal computer.

  • Easy switch between iTunes accounts

I have two itunes accounts (one US and one norwegian). I frequently switch between the two when I check for updated apps and such. Now I would like to do this using only a keyboard shortcut or such to save time.
Does anyone know if or how this is possible?

    Hello
Did you ever find a solution to this by any chance? I know so many people in this situation with both a UK and US account - makes it so difficult to download apps from the App Store!
You are only allowed to use the App store of the country you are actually located in.
When Apple discovers someone doing so (and they will when they post it on Apple's website), Apple can (and have with others) locked the accounts so you no longer have access to anything purchased with those accounts.

  • Switching Between User Accounts

Hey everyone, I have a question regarding Fast User Switching. I've noticed that every now and then, randomly, if I switch between someone's account to mine, the display profile (the display's color) will switch from Color LCD to some other color profile. Does anyone know why this happens?
    Thanks.

iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID
Your Apple ID can have up to 10 devices and computers (combined) associated with it. Each computer must also beauthorized using the same Apple ID. Once a device or computer is associated with your Apple ID, you cannot associate that device or computer with another Apple ID for 90 days. You can view which devices or computers are currently associated, remove unused devices or computers, and see how long before they can be associated with a different Apple ID from the Account Information page in iTunes on your computer:

  • ITunes Store - Switching between Store Accounts - 'This Computer is already associated with an Apple ID' error

    Howdy
So I have 2 store accounts, as I travel and live between two countries.  I have been using this accounts for at least 6 years.  I regularly swap between the two, depending on which country I am in.  I have never encountered any issues, I buy, rent and download regularly.
For the first time ever, when I logged out of one store and into the other store (using the sign in /out  option from the dropdown menu) and clicked 'download' for the tv episode I had available (from a season pass), a popup box appeared with the 'This computer is already associated with an Apple ID.'
    - If you download past purchases with your Apple ID, you cannot auto-download or download past purchases with a different Apple ID for 90 days.
The option is to 'Cancel' or 'Transfer'
I have encountered this problem on my iPad and iPhone previously, but never on my computer.  I haven't done anything different either.
Does anyone have any suggestions?  Has Apple finally decided to stop people having multiple store accounts?
    I appreciate any help.
