Switch Executive 1.0.2 not appearing in NIMAX
Hi,
Switch Executive 1.0.2 is not appearing in NIMAX Deveices and Interfaces. Labview 7.1 and TestStand3.1 are the other software's installed. In the License manager also, NI switch executive is not listed.
Can somebody point me, what wrong could be going on?

Hi Papaiah,
That is very interesting behavior. Does Switch Executive show up
under your "Software" tree in MAX? Also, does NI Switch Executive
show up under the list of NI Software when you go to Control Panel>>Add/Remove Programs and select National Instruments Software and click on Change?
Do you notice any difference if instead of opening MAX directly, you go to Start>>Programs>>National Instruments>>Switch Executive>>MAX with NI Switch Executive?
One thing to try would be to uninstall and reinstall NI Switch
Executive to see if this has any effect on the appearance of this
installer on your system. Let me know how this goes, as we
definitely want to make sure you get up and running with this software.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Sorry if this is not the right forum - it seems to be the closest one for things about LDOMs; plese let me know if I should post somewhere else.
I have installed LDoms_Manager-1_2.zip on a T5220 Server; following the book ("Logical Domains 1.2 Administration Guide") I set up the control domain etc, then a guest domain (cranachan) - so far all appears well. I downloaded the dvd iso of Solaris 10 (sol-10-u7-ga-sparc-dvd.iso) and added it to the guest as described, started the domain and issued "boot vdisk_iso:f -v" - this seemed to work well, but there was an error that turned out to be that I had given the wrong path for the system disk.
So I started over - removed the guest domain and the disk definitions for both guest and control domain, and removed the guest; then recreated everything. This time, when I "boot vdisk_iso:f -v" I get:

Any idea what may have happened? It makes no sense to me; not unless the iso file has been corrupted, but it doesn't seem to have been modified, and I can mount it as a loop-back fs in linux.I have the same problem with a Netra T1 system. Solaris 10 installed fine and it won't boot. It did have Solaris 8 on the system, but I put in new drives to start my Solaris 10 install.
I tried booting to single user cd-rom (ok boot cdrom -s) and ran this:
# installboot /usr/platform/SUNW,UltraAX-i2/lib/fs/ufs/bookblk /dev/rdsk/c1t0d0s1
(SUNW,UltraAX-i2 was derived from # uname -i)
It didn't help.
I also tried "setenv diag-switch? false" at the okay prompt. It didn't help

I have some problems with a Sun Fire T2000. Solaris 10 was installed one year ago. The server went down and now I am trying to connect to recover the dates and make a new installation.
Booting the server, I don't get any message. If I type #. I reach to sc> mode and from there I can get to ok prompt. From either mode, I can't get in the operating system.
From the ok prompt I issued "show-disks" and I booted with the cdrom choosing the option from the output of "show-disks". I got the "The file just loaded does not appear to be executable."
I searched the error and then I booted with "boot cdrom -s" and I got the "ERROR: /virtual-devices@100/console@1: Last Trap: Division by Zero".
Please advice for a new installation.

I understood that this server runs on different levels, like with firmware OpenBoot (ok prompt) or System Controll (sc>).
I understood the different setups can be made from ok prompt, like the problem I have now.
I am at the ok prompt. The "printenv" showed me that I was booting from net1, which is wrong because the installation just ended. So I changed to "disk" following your indications. I checked with printenv and indeed the boot sequence was changed to boot disk.
I issued the boot command I after the message "Boot device: disk File and args:" it looks like hanging. I am sure I can get back to sc> prompt but it looks like a loop to me: how do I get into the operating system? I looks I can switch only from ok to sc and backwards. But, after booting I'd like to enter in Solaris OS, not OpenBoot firmware or System Control...

My brand new iPad 2 does not appear in iTunes. I am OS 10.6, iTunes is up to date, I have restarted computer and iPad and switched usb sockets. Don't know if its related, but I can no longer see my Sony Handycam in iMovies too.
What content are you wanting to copy of the iPad ? You should be able to copy off anything that you've purchased from Apple (films, music, ibooks, apps etc) by connecting the iPad to your computer's iTunes and doing File > Transfer Purchases. If you want to copy off music copied from your own CDs or purchased from other sites then you will need to find a program for your computer that can copy them off – iTunes won't copy them off.
For photos taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit or saved from emails/websites then you should be able to copy them off via the Windows camera wizard.
For photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.
Content in third-party apps (documents and files etc) then how you copy that content off will depend upon what the apps that they are in support e.g.either via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc. -

my on/off button does not appear to be working on my iphone 3.....is there any way around this....anyway around this?...the phone also periodically just switches off.
Likely a hardware issue... no way around that except to get it repaired or don't use it (the button).
Try restoring to solve the switching off problem. -
Execute button Not appearing in SWI1 Log

We are executing a Vendor Workflow i.e is when ever a vendor is created a workflow is triggered and mail is sent for approval.
There is 2 z tables for agent assignment. It is maintained.
After creating vendor we can approve it through a mail
or we can go to Swi1 click the log of that task and inside the log we have a tab Activities.
in the activities tab we should get buttons Execute,Reject,Create.
But now we are not getting those buttons inside the log activities tab.
We verified all the role tables but i dont know wy its not appearing.
Pls experts help me out with suggestion,

go to transaction SE93 , enter your transaction and change the radiobutton selection from Easy Web transaction to Professional user transaction and save it.
run it again, now you can execute from menu->program->execute

UI not appearing when executing the process
i have created two DCs having 1 -1 UI each .
In first UI have some i/p fields and want to pass them as GP parameters to second.
both DCs are sucessfully deployed .
but when i m executing my process...i m getting the first UI, i enter the fields but when i click proceed,
the second UI does not appear n it directly give the statement as.."action has been completed".
can any plz help why im facing such situation n not able to view my 2nd UI.hi Sakshi Mittal ;
First check in UWL .some time action will go to UWL
Else check in Runtime .
if it not working fine
Test the secound DC callable object .
Else tell me the . i try to help u..

I'm using windows 7, trying to download pictures from my canon 5d mark 2, but when I click import, the camera does not appear. I've tried changing USB ports, switching the camera on and off, trying a different USB cord, tried a different camera, but nothing. Please help! Can you see the Canon EOS camera and image files using Windows Explorer? If not disconnect the camera, close all applications' shutdown Windows, and TURN OFF the power to your system and ALL connected devices. Disconnect all phones, iPads, and any other USB devices and restart your system.
Retry Windows Explorer and see if your camera is showing. If so try LR import again. -
My iPad Wi-Fi cellular 16 GB 4G switched off suddenly, even when the battery was 40% available. It is not switching on again, i have tried restarting by using sleep/wake button, but red slider does not appear. I kept it off like it was overnight, in the morning agin recharged it, but still it is not switching on. it is not responding, except when i connect the charger, it gives a blink noise that recharge has started. I removed the SIM and tried restart it but no response, What should i do to restart it please?
Seems to be working again, I haven't done anything though. And the "wifi" led on my laptop is off, which should mean that the interface is down.
This is driving me crazy I don't understand how the all thing works, if anyone has any tips that would be very nice.

Since installing iOS 6, I have had problems receiving calls and messages. Calls go straight to answerphone and messages do not appear until I switch off and on again. I have also installed iOS 6.1.1
Try a reset. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons simultaneously, ignoring the red power off slider, until the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons. This should not affect any content on the iPad, it is similar to rebooting your computer.
