Switch installation path - I have a SSD for Windows its my C:// and a normal HDD my W://.
I've downloaded the Creative Cloud in my Download Folder on W and also want to install the Cloud Photoshop on W .. but.. it didnt asks where do install the Cloud itself and its on C.. Creative Cloud itself is not that big but i cant install Photoshop on my small SSD - i tried for so long now tried to reinstall and switch the Installation Folder also in Settings/Apps the folder Ive switched but it always want to install photoshop on C. Has anyone an idea?

It is something we connect in b/w psu and AC port...so that in case of power blackouts you have a battery to save your work and do a proper shut down..but some ups comes with built in stabilizer that is even better in case of voltage fluctuations in case of generator based power..

Yeah but ehm i work for a company that builds ATMs and we use UPS as a Backup Power Supply. In my dreams i wouldnt think about pluging a UPS to my System its...a bit too much! I my stuff is backed up.
I dont think it has anythink to do with the Power Supply.

Serial numbers for older versions do not work across platforms.
At one time, when the product was current, you could get Adobe to switch you to the other platform, but I don't know whether Adobe will do that for old versions. I do know it's not going to work if you try to use your Windows license for a Mac installation.

My Windows 7 Professional desktop system hard disk got corrupted and I took the opportunity to install an SSD for a new system disk and reinstall Windows. The system is up and running on the SSD, with my old system disk now used for storage as it is still readable. The only Adobe product I have reinstalled so far is Reader XI but I would like to reinstall Elements 8 and Acrobat 9 without taking up more licences as both are also installed on my laptop. Can you point me to the best way to do this? - Thanks
If you have the two allotted activations already and one was lost on the hard drive that failed then you need to contact Adobe Support thru chat and ask them to reset your activations.

In order to download / install Captivate 8 32 bit, you have to download 2 files ( .7z and .exe ) at same location/ folder.
Once both files downloaded completely then you have to run .exe file and it will extract .7z file first and then it will initialize the installer. You do not have to open .7z file.
Let me provide you the download links of Captivate 8 32 bit :-
Open the link mention below in any Web Browser say Internet Explorer

Sign in with your Adobe id and Password, then you will be redirected to download Web Page of Captivate 8.

Hrm... that may be true and this may be a function of the phone email client that Apple just doesn't do.
No, I can easily MANUALLY delete the messages. I would prefer if I didn't have to do it twice, tho. Once on the mail server and once on the phone.
What I think the phone needs to do is, when it checks the POP, anything NOT there should be removed locally. I think you are correct on POP; the phone will poll the mx (mail exchanger) and the mx will pass off the messages to the phone. The phone then keeps ALL of that unitl you manually delete it.
If, say, I remove a message from the mx, I would like the phone, when next polls, to see that that particular message isn't on the server anymore and remove it locally.
Perhaps it's just me but if I delete the message on the mx itself, via my ISP's webmail interface, I really don't want to have to remove it again from my phone.

I have a Mac Book Pro and downloaded the latest software OS X. Now whenever I start my computer, I have to wait for Windows Mac to do its thing. I checked and the "open at login" option is not checked. How can I turn this feature off? It's driving me nuts!!
All fixed Barry. When I went to restart my computer, the question was right there. Do you want to open Windows when opening. NOPE!!
