Switch On versioning after the decision table is created

Hi All,
I have created a custom application and created some decision tables etc in it. While creating and activating the application, i did not switch on the versioning and hence all the decision tables i created did not have the version switched on and also the switch is not editable. Now we have realised that we need versions to be created for these decision tables when ever there is a change in the content. I have turned on the versioning at the application level, but still the versioning option at the Decision Table is not editable. Can you please suggest on how i can change the versioning option on the Decision Tables now.

On application level you can set the default for objects. You may have to manually switch the versioning on for your objects. In NW >= 7.03 you can use the mass change tool. Further the default can be set to enforced which will not let you change and activate an object unless versioning is switched on.
Anyway, I highly recommend to use the mode to version on transport and/or deployment (also on application level). This will make sure the current version is frozen whenever there is a transport or a deployment (with NW DSM only).
Do you have this feature or are you on an older version?

Error 7 (Windows error 193)” Any ideas to resolve this?

Updating the VETVG table while creating the purchase order

hi all,
I have one requirement to calculated the delivery creation date while creating the Purchase Order. It is calculated based on the delivery date of PO. I have calculated that one but how to update it after calculation. Can any body give a user exit or BADI with implementation which will update the VETVG table while creating the PO.

thanks for reply, I am using same BADI(ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST) and implementation(FIELDSELECTION_ITEM_REFKEYS). In this implementation i am setting the shipping data with SET_SHIPPINGDATA method . but after that the values are not updating the EKPV and VETVG tables but it is only showing in the screen. Can you give a idea where to pass these values so it will update the tables.

That looks like the logic which was written into the VI
Inner true/ false case:
(file exists : false) write to XML file, unflatten for display
(file exists : true) read from XML file, unflatten for display
At no time when the file exists (true case) is the XML file updated...

BindAggregation After The Control Is Already Created

I would like to create a listBox (an empty one), and then later bind it to data to populate the list Items.
Assume that I have already created an empty list box called _oSourceListBox
Now I want to do the below:
populateSourceData:function()
       var oModel = new sap.ui.model.json.JSONModel();
       oModel.setData(_dataProvider);
       _oSourceListBox.setModel(oModel);
       var oItemTemplate = new sap.ui.core.ListItem({text:"{value}"});

I am not able to get this to work. What is the correct way of bindAggregating after the control is already created. I can do it while creation of control but I do not want that as the data is available only later.

Aaah I got it to work like this:

N95-1 ,WHEN WILL THE NEXT VERSION AFTER THE V21.0....

If u all hav upgrade yr N95-1 to V21.0.016 & format yr Nokia 1GB micro sd card & start to use it fr fresh download of files ( without restore setting, bookmark & user files) , that is fine , phone system is fast & good...but...but if u hav bac up a copy of phone user files, setting & book mark & after upgrade ,u restore u will suffering system crash with yr restored data..., phone seem like forever cannot boot up & very very slow response ...now i am the victim , every time i off my phone, i hav to take out memory card only can start my N95-1 smoothly, then only i put in by way of "hotswap" into the memory card into the phone....this is crazy job !!! but i really don want to lose all my valuable & paid money to buy the mp3, mv, themes, wallpaper & other stuffs if i do not retore them....NOKIA, DON U NOTICE THIS BIG PROBLEM ? I URGE NOKIA TO COME OUT NEXT VERSION TO SOLVE OUT THIS

I also have an N95-1 with firmware v21.0.016, and the 8GB card in it has about 3GB of stuff on it.
Yes, it did take a while to boot and become responsive the first time I powered it up after the upgrade, but that was a once-off. Let it do its work and things will be okay.
Alternatively, you might have a faulty memory card.

I have been using firefox beta versions mainly and before ver 22.0 pages displayed zoomed out as default with small text the resolution was that of my desktop at 1920X1080 it seems.After the update the text pages open zoomed in and dialog boxes bigger.Im very uncomfortable with this.Is there way to set all pages to open in a zoomed out format by default.

That is caused by code for HiDPI that landed.
You can modify the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx and increase or decrease the value in 0.1 or 0.05 steps to adjust the size of fonts and other elements in Firefox.
* The layout.css.devPixelsPerPx pref is a String value parsed to a float and allows to fine tune the dimensions of all elements (user interface and web pages) more precisely (resolution 0.1 or 0.05).
* You can use values between 0.05 and 1.0 to reduce elements in size or use values greater than 1.0 to magnify and make elements larger (percentage divided by DPI, % / DPI).
If the web pages needs to be adjusted after changing this pref then you can look at Default FullZoom Level or NoSquint.

Why still shows the old version after the upgrade?

Hello I have a bit of problem here. I actually upgraded my JDK to 1.5 quite a while ago, but now when I run in the command line:

Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_03-b02, mixed mode)Now the application need to run in the command line using 'java MainClass' requires JDK 1.5...I have it on my pc but how to reflect the newer version to the command line?Thanks

Sorry I am afraid that I could not help you further (sounds like I had helped you somehow...*wink* ;-). The other thought is that there are different tiers of admins; if you are not the highest one, or he/she does not allocate you the PATH modification privilege, you may still not do that. You may wish to consult with the guy at the highest level, or who set up your account if you did not do it for yourself, if you are not him. Sorry for not being helpful at all and good luck.

Yoga 13 users - what is your graphics driver version after the Windows 8.1 upgrade?

I just noticed something interesting - it looks like the Windows 8.1 installation installed a very new version of the graphics driver. Mine is showing as version 10.18.10.3316, dated 10/1/2013 (Oct 1).
Anyone else seeing this?
I should mention that I had previously updated the graphics driver about a month ago using Intel's generic HD 4000 driver. To do that, I just went to the Intel site and ran their driver update tool from the browser - it scans your machine for Intel hardware and displays available updates. This driver tool recognized my HD 4000 and updated the driver. But the Windows 8.1 installation updated to an even newer version.
I'm wondering if my previous update was a factor in why I have this updated graphics driver, or is everyone seeing this?

I guess you're asking 8.1 users, but i must say that intel upgrade seemed to help my 8.0... thanks for the heads up.

U need to create a FM with UPDATE MODULE attribute checked: so you fm can be run in UPDATE TASK
This fm has to have the same interface of the method of the BAID (or user-exit) or a parte of it, if you don't need to use all parameters of the interface.
All code to schedule the job has to be placed in this fm: you can use the fm JOB_OPEN and JOB_CLOSE in order to scheule a job programmatically.
Call this fm in the BADI, the call has to be in UPDATE TASK, in this way your porgram can start as soon as all updating processes are over

Why is the af:table tag creating a fixed size div.

When I use the af:table components it seems to always occupy a fixed height no matter how many rows are displayed. This creates a difficulty when laying out pages and making the table scroll in a fixed area.
I looked at the HTML and the div that wraps the table has a fixed height even when the actual data fits is a much smaller space. Can't the table just flow according to the wrapping container.
Basically I would like to set the height of a layout container and have the table scroll without a bunch of "white space" at the bottom. Is this reasonable?
I also tried to put the table in an af:panelBox that has a fixed height. When I do this the panelBox does not scroll it simply expands to contain the entire table. Event if I have a single row there is a bunch of white space below the last row. What layout control should I use to properly scroll a table?

this came up couple of times and I'll file a bug to change this behavior. I agree that it doesn't make sense to not have the table responding to where it has less rows then the initial setting. However, this I think should be configurable because not everyone wants to have it.
A reason for this behavior - and maybe a reason why this isn't an easy fix - is within the table rendring. The table rendering is through stamping, which means that the table itself doesn't perform active geometry handling. However. I'll file the bug and we se whats coming out of this

Be careful with using system restore as it only restores some file, so you end up with a Firefox installation that has a mixture of old and new files.
Do a clean (re)install and delete the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
* Firefox 8.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
Uninstall your current Firefox version if possible.
*Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data in the profile folder.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
*It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

IMovieHD/11/FCPX - switch to widescreen after the fact?

I have just spent a few hours making a 1 minute trailer in good old dependable iMovieHD.
(Don't laugh, I had grand plans of doing this short deadline in FCPX but discovered there IS a learning curve, and I forgot I had iMovie11 recently installed).
I shot at 1080p/60fps and completely neglected to set the project to widescreen at the start, leaving it on DV. (I realize my 60fps alse became 30fps under iMovie but that's the price of needing to get it done quickly with something you know.)
Now the movie is letteroxed, wihch isn't the end of the world, but is there a fast way I can switch it over?
Researching the communities, I created a new iMovie HD movie in 16:9, opened the package contents of the old movie and copied over the Media Files, which appear in the trash of the new movie, which you can move to the clips pane, BUT the movie itself (timeline) isn't there - seems you have to reconstruct it all over again - a lot of work.
Can I finagle with this using a combo of iMovie11/FCPX just to get the export out?
Also, in iMovie, the choice was DV widescreen or HDV 1080i - what's the better choice - are they both 16:9?

I have a feeling you're working with H.264 footage, the original out of the T2i. If you're computer is low on RAM or a bit older it's going to have trouble playing that footage back as it is highly compressed.
> If you right-click on one of your clips in your browser and select TRANSCODE MEDIA
> A pop up window appears and should have 2 options. If both the create optimized media and the create proxy media options are avialable then you are editing the original H.264.
You can create the ProRes optimized media AFTER import as well. That's how you do it.
Also: Select the clip in browser > File Menu > Transcode Media...
Yet another way to check:
> Select you clip in your browser
> Go to INFO tab in your Inspector window on the right hand side.
> Look at the CODECS area and see what it says. More than likely H.264 Linear PCM
> Keep looking down on that Inspector window and you'll notice "Available Media Representations"
> Green circle on "original"
> If there are red circles on the "optimized" or "proxy" then you did not have the footage optimized to ProRes on import.
