Switched on but still not receiving.

Hi, am getting a little frustrated now, ordered bt sport towards the end of the last month and was advised all was set up and switched on for the 1 aug lick off.  Guess what still not able to receive, every time I switch to channels it says you are not subscribed to these channels and to contact bt.  Have contacted bt 3 times now, a couple of time ive been told the card has been re activated and should be on within the hour or worst case 24 hours, but still no joy.  
Went through same process this morning telling me account is all set up and should be working fine, so would put me through to technical support, was put on hold for about 30 mins then the phone Just rang out and line went dead.  
Getting really frustrated now as got much better things to do with my time on a sat morning!  Can one of the moderators Please Have a look into this Please as I'm loosing the will.  Trying to view on BT vision platform (black box) already had a viewing card from bt for sky sports and told they would reactivate this.  Can see the channels on the planner no problem Just keep getting message saying not subscribed to channels and to contact bt.  Just going around in circles at moment.  Please help!

Just been on hold for over an hour with tech support, when I did get to someone He left me on hold for another 30 - 40 mins well "checking" his system, only for him to come back to me to tell me that its a problem with the setup done by the customer service team and that I would need to speak to them again, and that He would be me in the queue again.  I told them that this was unacceptable as they have been telling me for the past few days the system is set up fine and that's its a technical problem, all they seem to be doing is passing me from one to the other with no one resolving my problem, I told him I wanted him to speak to the customer team to explain what the problem was.  He waited in queue for about 15 mins and then just cut me off!!!!!  Now when I try and ring back am getting a message saying calls are no longer being excepted!  I'm guessing everyone is experiencing the same problems!!!  What a joke of a company!  Ive never yet had a good experience with BT "customer services".  AND STILL NO SPORT!!   BT - THE HOME OF NO SPORT!!!   AM drafting letter of complaint as we speak!!!

    My wife’s iPad was not downloading Yahoo mail, although her iPhone was. Both used IOS 8.2. We tried deleting the account several times and troubleshooting all of the other settings. The problem appears to have been that allowing the IOS to automatically create the account on the iPad resulted in the wrong settings for the incoming server. The following procedure, pieced together from two websites, fixed the problem for us. So far, so good.

    My children received a message from i'Tunes saying you have to answer some of the security questions.  Strange?  She was using the same I'Pod .. She answered the questions whitout talking to me.... I after recevied an e-mail saying my birthdate and security questions have been change.
    WHAT I WANT TO DO:  I want to verify those questions and changes but the answers given by my daugher don't match with the 2 questions I have to answer.
    In my ID gestion, when I click  ''Envoyer un courriel de réinitialisation des donnés de sécurité'' it indicates an e-mail has been sent concerning security information but I did that many many times and still haven't receive this e-mail.

    I switched to a non iphone over two months ago and ever since then I cannot receive messages from iphone users sending in imessage format. They have to turn imessage on and off to be able to text me. This has been extremely inconvenient since I need to receive these messages for work in addition to my personal life. I have tried multiple suggestions I've read about, still nothing works. It's like this is apple's way of keeping customers using their iphone instead of switching for fear of not receiving messages. They won't really fix it either when we all know technology is advanced enough to fix this. HELP.

    It sounds like you may have multiple problems, but none of them are likely to be caused by malware.
    First, the internet-related issues may be related to adware or a network compromise. I tend to lean more towards the latter, based on your description of the problem. See:

    If investigation shows that this is not a network-specific issue, then it's probably adware. See my Adware Removal Guide for help finding and removing it. Note that you mention AdBlock as if it should have prevented this, but it's important to understand that ad blockers do not protect you against adware in any way. Neither would any kind of anti-virus software, which often doesn't detect adware.
    As for the other issues, it sounds like you've got some serious corruption. I would be inclined to say it sounds like a failing drive, except it sounds like you just got it replaced. How did you get all your files back after the new drive was installed?

  • DFSR- Initial sync shows completed(eventID 4104), but still not 100%

    We are running a 2008R2 domain, but the DFSR members for this replication group are both 2003 R2 and 2008 R2.  I have 4 different servers that all had similar(not 100% exact) contents in the folder before DFS.  I setup DFS
    in a Multi-purpose and full-mesh model and chose one of them to be the primary server.  I noticed that the other members receive an eventID 4104(Initial Replication complete), but still do not have some files that exist on the primary server.  Actually,
    all 3 member servers have the 4104, but 2 do not have some old files and 2(including primary) do have the older files.  These are not special files at all and I do not think those files were coped recently.  Does anyone have any ideas of how a server
    can throw a 4104, but still not be 100% in sync with the primary? The local System account does have full permissions on the old files that are outstanding on some of the members.

    Hi Dan Heim,
    Please create a diagnostic report for DFS Replication, it will give you an overview about all files on all DFSR member servers. 
    In additional, check your staging size is set high enough on the replicated folder. If the staging folder not being big enough, DFS will be constantly trying to reduce the staging folder to be within the limits.

    I have a problem with connecting my iPhone to iTunes. I uninstalled one of the computer program and restart my laptop. After restart my laptop and a message said that iTunes might not working because one of the component is missing and request to reinstall the iTunes. Hence I remove iTunes from my laptop and I reinstall iTunes to my laptop but still not working.
    Before this the iTunes will automatically launch when I plug in my iPhone. But after I reinstall iTunes, it's not working. When I try to plug in my iPhone after iTunes launched and message "This iPhone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then install the 64-bit version of iTunes." popped out. I did this twice but it's not working as well.
    Please advise what should I do to fix this.

    First make sue you are installing the 64 bit version of iTunes.
    Second make sure it is iTunes 10.7 or later.
    I would download a fresh copy of the 64 bit version of iTunes 11. After installation reboot your computer.
    Before connecting your phone reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
