Switched to IIS7, Now MySQL + CF not working
I'm getting a weird error since I switched to IIS7. "Data truncation: Data too long" in MySQL with the exact same code and same MySQL Database I was using previosuly. MySQL v5.1.
Any ideas?
Yep, here's an idea. Tell us:
* the query that's erroring;
* the table schema of the table being written to;
* the source of the data being written, with examples
I strongly doubt IIS has anything to do with this. The code and the DB might be the same, but the data's going to be different each time, innit? This error is indicative of the data you're asking to write to the DB being too long for the column spec. IIS has nothing to do with this.

Garageband is not picking sound from builtin mic (rMBP).
I recorded some tracks, now it is not working. I have checked GB Preferences, Audio/MIDI > Audio Input > Built In Microphone.
All other apps can use the mic. Dictation, Skype etc. can use the mic!
Monitoring is switched ON at GB, it picks sound only some other app, eg. Skype, is used to access the mic.

Many thanks!I have foud the solution - rather stupid. The system setting for audio input was at 70%, increasing it to 100% solves the problem!

Try a hard reset and go from there. You might try a manual install (using DFU Mode), as outlined in the link below.

I have tried several times to load version 11.4 and keep getting an error code2324, now I cannot sync any of my apple products. I set my machine to a previous recover date, now iTunes will not work at all. I get a message stating I do not have the administrator rights to download. Any thoughts on this issue?
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

Downloaded Update Software now Ipod is not working - Please Help
I downloaded Update Software onto Ipod and now Ipod is not working. It is stating "Itunes detected an Ipod in recovery mode. You must restore this ipod before it can be used in Itunes". Here's the deal I did that now the Ipod just blinks the circle with the line through it and says do not disconnect. Nothing happens. Has the new software corrupted my Ipod? Can anyone Help

Ipad2 gives me ""accessory is not supported" message w/ VGA adapter that I used lots of times before. Now it's not working. Why? and how do I get it back to normal functioning?
I used the (Apple branded) VGA adapter lots of times last year. Now I got back to one place I used it many times and it does not work. When I restart iPad with the adapter connected, I get the "accessory is not supported"message. But that same accessory WAS supported before.
This is very annoying as I planned a whole bunch of presentations starting this week to do with my iPad2 and that adapter.I received the same error message, "Accessory Not Supported" from both the VGA and DV video adapters I purchased, both were boxed direct from Apple. However, to bypass this problem I simply clicked on Photos icon on iPad2 and flipped through photos until it displayed on my projector. I then exited the Photos app and my home screen displayed fine on the projection screen.
Some logic issue with the video adapters, but launching Apple Photo app initializes the video adapters then they work fine for mirroring after that.

A very good friend of mine dropped her iphone into water and now it is not working.Her husband recently passed away and text messages from him and from well wishers after his decease are feared lost. Is there any way to retrieve them?

You can put the iPhone that went into water into a plastic baggie with either new silica gel packets (preferred) or raw rice and let it sit for 4 - 5 days. After that time remove the phone and connect it to power for at least a half hour. While it is still connected to power reset it by holding down the power and hold button, wait for the Apple logo then let go of the buttons. Might take several tries. If it revives immediately back it up. -
I downloaded the newest verion of itunes. Now quicktime is not working...error 2096. I have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes. still nothing. i have read countless other people having the same issue. What is the problem?????

That one is often a compatibility mode problem. Try the following document, only be sure that none of the boxes in the compatibility mode tab are checked (not just the compatibility mode box itself):

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Hello, it's been 5 days now since my imessage has not working..and i have chatted to the costumer for two times. I took thier advice and instructions just to enable to send and receive on it but unfortunately until now its still NOT working. Is there anybody who could help me please?
Try this even if you have already. Just make sure to follow the steps specifically.
Go to settings > Facetime > send and recieve > tap on your apple id and sign out. If your not signed in then that will work as well.
Go to settings > Messages > sent and recieve > tap on your apple id and sign out.
Restart the iPad by doing the slide to power off setup. Just hold the power button on the top right till it turns off.
After the iPad has been restarted:
Go to settings > Facetime > and sign in
Go to settings > Messages > and sign in
Wait about 3 min then restart the iPad again. Same instructions as above.
When you restart you should be able to use messages again. If not then call support again and talk to someone higher than the first level support they have.
