Switching apple store problem! Help ASAP!

I have used an American Gift Card and I have $0.96 remaining and I can't change my apple store to uk until I spend all of it and I can't since the cheapest thing is $0.99.

If you can't spend it then you can try contacting iTunes support and ask if they can remove the balance for you : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

I have the MacIntosh volume and the Boot Camp partition only. I know that when I installed Lion, I had to go through a whole back-up and recovery of Windows and then re-format the drive.
The tech at the Apple Store had a previous life as a MSCE and was very helpful. I believe he even said that I should not have htis problem with Mountain Lion which is why they gave me the flash with it onboard. I was in the process of starting a new job when I went to Lion, so I have waited to do this next and probably last upgrade to this old MBP since I doubt Apple will support this MBP in Maverick.
I do not have another installation, so that is not an option. I will try to create an external, I have plenty of hard drives around and see if I can get it done that way. It might take me a week or two to get back to it, but I will comment back upon completion of that effort. Thanks for your help....Dave Iverson

PSE 10 from Apple Store problem with camera raw 6.7 upgrade

PSE 9 was not opening Nikon d4 raw files so I've purchased PSE 10 at the Apple Store and installed on my Mac. PSE 10 is still not opening d4 raw files (camera raw 6.5). I tried to update to 6.7 taken from Adobe but did not succeed to install it. Could you please advice what to do?

You will have to do the update manually for the app store version. Instructions are here:

Thanks for the positive feedback. Best thing to do is write a letter to that store or something of that nature to tell them you appreciated it. It really tells us how we're doing and what we could work on by getting feedback like that and we will respond to you as a way of saying thanks.

Yes, you can. You must change your Apple Store Id information by selecting the new country, and providing a veirfyible billing address and a credit/bank card issued by an accredited bank/financial institution within that country.
Of course, this assumes that you are also living in that country.

They could not fix it and referred me to apple support which sent me an article to do the things the store had already tried. Store thinks it is a problem with the ID although the correctID and p/word are being used. Just get message that cant sign in and check connection and try again. Happens in every location. Can anyone help me with this since Apple can't?

Since you've tried the Apple Store, etc., even though you say your Apple ID and password are good, I suspect that's the likely issue.
I recommend double checking that with Apple. This link might help:

IMac 21.5" 2010 Intel having screen problems - Apple store no help

So I've been reading on this board about the problems people have been having with the iMac displays going haywire - flickering and then going black... I've had my 21.5" iMac for about 10 months now and have started to have this problem, albeit intermittently. I've been to the Apple Store twice (and of course, the screen performs fine in the store) - the first time they ran "12 hours of diagnostic testing" and found nothing wrong. The second time, the "Genius" installed the new version of Flash and suggested seeing if it mattered what was plugged into the Firewire/USB ports that caused it to flicker. I can find no one thing that I have done consistently that causes the display to begin behaving this way. Today I did nothing but check my Gmail (had nothing plugged in the back) and it started flickering and going to a black screen continuously. I have certainly lost faith in my local Apple Store to fix this problem... from what I've researched here it seems that my iMac needs a new display or backlight. Does anyone have any suggestions about what to do? Or what to do or say when/IF I go into the Apple Store again with this? I'm kind of at the end of my rope here.

MUSIC PROBLEM--HELP ASAP

I have recently had iTunes converted all my songs to 128kbps AAC format, not my music won't sync at all. I try maunally add the songs to the iPod and still won't work. My iPod says it has the songs (1088 songs to be) with 1.19GB of memory left (after converting), but it won't show on my iPod. I even reset my iPod in both Recovery Mode and DFU and none works. HELP ASAP.

When I try to update the apps a warning comes up saying , first I have to switch the Apple Store ... How do I do that ? Help would be appreciated ...

2. Tap "iTunes & App Stores"
3. Tap on your Apple ID
4.Tap "View Apple ID"
5. Enter your user name and password.
6. Tap "Country/Region."
7. Tap "Change Country/Region"
8. Select the country/region where you are located.
9. Tap "Done".
Note: If the change doesn't take effect, sign out of account and sign in again.

Can I bring Canadian 4S to a U.S. Apple Store for help?

My iphone 4s is Canadian but i'm having trouble with it, i'm going to the U.S. on holidays soon - Am i able to bring it to an Apple Store in the U.S. or will they send me away?

They may give you some help if it's general info or troubleshooting, but if you need to have it repaired/replaced, they won't be able to help you. Good luck!

Yes. There is a way to make a reservation with a Genius. I've heard there is way to do this online, but I've not found it.
I went in with an appointment once, and I believe the person I spoke with at Apple Support set up the appointment for me.
If you arrive at the store, those with reservations are helped first. If they have an opening they should fit you in.
You could also try calling the store. They probably have the ability to enter their own appointments for a genius.
There are basically three roles in a store - retail sales (people roaming the store to help people wanting to buy), point-of-sell (cash registers) and Apple Geniuses .. there is also the usual Manager, etc.

For two month or more I can't use my account in the apple store. I can't purchase apps and I can't download free apps neither. It always asks me for bank details. My bank has changed my card before throgh security reason, I thought that was the problem. In Itunes I've changed my bank card details for the new one. But it still not working. I've tried two other cards from different banks but they're not working neither. Only I can do is updating my apps which I've already have. Can you check me please what is the problem?
