Switching back to my LG voyager titanium

I'm really tired of my blackberry, so i want to switch back to my LG. Anyone know if this is possiable in the middle of a contract? I want to continue to get my email on my phone, so will i need a data plan still?

Yes, you can switch back to your Voyager; a data plan is NOT required for the Voyager, but you WILL need data to get email. You have the option of PAYG at $1.99 per MB, $15 / 150 MB or unlimited for $29.99. And keep in mind that the email experience will be no where near the same as your BB.
You'll need the Mobile Email app, everything is text based (no html email) and no attachments will be viewable. The mobile email app is $4.99 a month, plus data if you are on the PAYG plan. I think it is included if you are on the $15 or $30 data plan.

My friend gave me a $25 iTunes gift card for Christmas, so I switched to the US store and spend most of it with 11¢ remaining. *Now I want to switch back to my original store, but I can't. iTunes keeps saying "You have a store credit balance; you must spend your balance before you can change stores.*

You might just have to contact Apple and ask them to remove it (losing it). Usually people clear a balance by buying one song and having the exact remainder charged  to their credit card, but if you don't have a US credit card you cannot do that.

I've been texting my friend with iMessage with wifi on and all of a sudden it changed to text message and won't let me send messages. My wifi is still on and working but it won't switch back to iMessage. Please help

What I recommend you try doing first is to turn iMessage off then back on.  If that doesn't work, make sure that your Apple ID and password are correct.  If everything seems correct and you still can't send out messages using iMessage instead of text message, I think you should either try calling AppleCare at 1-800-MY-IPHONE (1-800-694-7466) and/or scheduling an appointment at the Genius Bar at an Apple Store (that is, if there's one close to you).
    Hope this helps!

  • Switching back to delete file from PC?

I recently selected a few files that I wanted to remove from iTunes, but didn't want to delete from my hard drive.
Now I want to switch back and delete files from my hard drive, but when I select a track and click 'delete' it doesn't give me the choice of deleting from iTunes or from hard drive.
How do I get the option to delete from my hard drive back?

  • Issue switching back to 10.4

The wife's ibook g4 had some problems handling Leopard, so I switched back to 10.4. The installer saved the old system, however when I try to open a folder such as documents I get a message that I don't have permission. I tried changing ownership and permissions and apply to all enclosed, but to no avail. Does anyone have a suggestion for how to get into the old folders so I can retrieve mailboxes, documents and bookmarks?
    Thanks

Drag that folder to the desktop, click Authenticate if prompted, and provide your administrator password.

  • Need switching back to interleaved.

Couple of days ago the homehub3 has decided it will switch back to "Fast" latency from "interleaved" and has been causing issues which has needed me to unplug the DSL line and replug it back in after the Broadband light has switched off every evening and morning. This is causing issues when attempting to play games on steam or minecraft such as horrible lag and being kicked off the server cause i am "moving too fast" in minecraft
Can I phone up BT India and get them to switch me back to interleaved as "fast" latency is having more issues than normal with "interleaved" or do the mods need to do this.

  • [SOLVED] Switching back to ALSA from OSS

    Good day fellow Archites,
I am trying to get my audio working after another fresh install (I am getting good at this).
The pertinent hardware is as follows:
    Mobo: ASUS P5G41T-M LX PLUS
    Sound: Onboard (Realtek ALC887 Chipset)
The sound did not work after getting Arch to a good point (ie having KDE installed and pretty much everything else working).
Arch however did detect the audio hardware, I just had no sound. I followed every wiki I could find on this and still no luck
So I switched to OSS because I saw that Realtek seems to be a proponent of OSS, this didn't work very well and it didn't detect my audio card at all after this. (KDE/Phonon is prompting me to remove the previously installed hardware - I didn't do it)
Promptly I tried to switch back. I think this is where I messed up.
I couldn't find any sort of guide on switching from OSS back to ALSA, so I simply used "pacman -Rdds oss" hoping it would reverse the blacklisting process that it does to ALSA.
After a reboot, KDE still prompted me still to remove the previously detected hardware because it is no longer there, meaning UDev isn't detecting it (I think).
So my big question, how do I go from OSS back to ALSA properly?
How do I re-enable the ALSA modules that are loaded on Arch boot?
I have nothing in /etc/modprobe.d - there are no blacklisting files/configurations at all and I am at a loss.
Thank you my nerdy genius's, or would it be genuii?

E.g. you would expect files like:

So what would the 2nd asterix be additionally matching on?
The 2nd asterisk returns a bunch of .gz files
See below, I just posted the whole thing.
I will post the output of all 4 commands.

  • Problems switching back to BT .. Thanks, BT - now ...

I've recently (1st June) switched back to BT .. but my old provider (Pipex) knows nothing about the switch yet BT are happily charging me for my new Unlimited Anytime Plan.
    So, what went wrong BT?
More to the point HOW DO I GET SOMEONE AT BT TO CARE?
Are these forums really the only way to raise an issue?
    Aaaarggh.

    Hi Fredd,
Thanks for the post and welcome to the forum.
BT will only start charging you for service once the service is activated, so there is definitely some confusion here.
Please drop me an email to [email protected], please include your BT account details and the link to this post.  Once I have your details I will check the order from my end to see what is going on.
    Cheers

  • If A VERIZON AGENT does not respond and fix this then I am switching back to COMCAST

I pay OVER TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS A MONTH for all these channels and every weekend when I have my only two days off to relax and watch these channels (that I pay an arm and a leg for!) ARE NOT WORKING.
I have been taking pictures for MONTHS of the error messages I get on various channels (both basic cable channels and paid movie channels!). I have a .zip file all ready to email to show my proof of the non-working channels that I am paying for.
Today, I've just had enough. I want reimbursement and I want this problem fixed. Technicians have come to my house and the problem still persists. Is it too much to ask for something that I pay my hard-earned money for to work properly???
I will be switching back to Comcast if this problem is not resolved.

I would contact Verizon via twitter (@verizonsupport).
I have had the most success that way.

  • Hi, I'm having a problem with my first gen. iPad switching back to the apps page by itself.  This started after upgrading to ios5.  It will do this from safari or kindle.  I have turned it off manually as suggested by a tech rep. without any improvement.

    Hi,
My 1stgen iPad keeps. Switching back to the apps. Pages by itself after installing ios5.  I have shut it down manually as suggestedby a tech rep but the problem still exists.
    Thanks,  Jim

    1) This is because of software version 1.1. See this
thread for some options as to how to go back to 1.0,
    which will correct the problem...
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=3754
    59&tstart=0
    2) This tends to happen after videos. Give the iPod a
minute or two to readjust. It should now be more
    accurate.
    3) This?
iPod shows a folder icon with exclamation
    point
    4) Restore the iPod
    5) Try these...
iPod Only Shows An Apple Logo and Will Not Start
    Up
iPod Only Shows An Apple Logo
I think 3,4, and 5 are related. Try the options I
    posted for each one.
    btabz
I just noticed that one of the restore methods you posted was to put it into Disk Mode First rather than just use the resstore straight off, I Have tried that and seems to have solved the problem, If it has thank you. previously I have only tried just restoring it skipping this extra step. Hope my iPod stays healthy, if it doesnt its a warrenty job me thinks any way thanks again

  • Switching to iphone.. then switching back to basic phone

Ive had an LG enV for years.  Im thinking about getting an iphone.  Obviously I would need a data plan for my new iphone.  Lets say 3 months from now, I dont want to use the iphone and switch back to my basic LG phone.. Can i cancel my data plan i  had to get for the iphone?  Will I be breaking my 2year agreement contract when I switch back to my LG?

Your two year agreement is for the line of service, not the specific phone or plan you have on the line. You can swap phones (go back to your basic LG) and remove the data plan at any time, as long as the line of service remains active.

  • Switching back to ADSL from infinity

I live a long way from my green cabinet (1.5Km) , and have been disappointed with the upgrade from ADSL to Infinity ( or actually Unlimited Faster Broadband )
I used to get 2.1M downlad speeds  on ADSL, and this has risen only to 2.5M on Infinity/UFB. Both speeds are well short of the worst case estimate provided on BTWholesale checker for my telephone number.
An Openreach engineer was called and repaired 3 seperate faults on the (aluminium) cable from the cabinet to my house.   The engineer was happy that the line quality improved ( red lights on his box of tricks were now green), but sadly the speed did not increase - after 10 days it is stable at 2.5M.
My question is this -  Although the improved line quality did not increase the speed of infinity connection,  would it increase the ADSL speed from its original 2.1M  if I switched back  Is there a reliable way of finding out, because If I switch back and it is still  pants , BT are no longer accepting orders for infinity here, and I would have lost the admittedly small increase that infinity brought me.
    thanks

Apologies for formatting, but you get the idea
                                        High    Low       High       Low
    FTTC Range A (Clean)       16.4   10           1.3     0.8-               -Available
    FTTC Range B (Impacted)  13.4    5.3         1.2     0.5-               -Available
WBC ADSL 2+               Up to 2.5-                      -1.5 to 3.5      Available
WBC ADSL 2+ Annex M  Up to 2.5    Up to 0.5       1.5 to 3.5       Available
ADSL Max                     Up to 1.5--                     1 to 2.5           Available
WBC Fixed Rate                   0.5         ----                                  Available
    Fixed Rate                          0.5         ----                                   Available
thanks for your help  - intuitively I agree that the ADSL is not going to be worse than it was, but the extraa 0.5 M ( 25% !!!) makes  a significant difference, and I would kick myself if I lost it
Do you have that same graph for ADSL conections ?

  • Switching back to Mail from Outlook (for Mac)

I've had my Mac for only about 8 months now and was happy with Apple Mail - at first. Then I got a hold of MS Outlook 2011 (for Mac) and switched. Now, with the impending revamping of Mail with Mac OS X Lion, I want to switch back to Mail but there doesn't seem to be a simple way to do it that will transfer all my emails and folders etc.
    Can anyone help me?
    Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the tip. I had stumbled across this article but became lost amongst the technobabble. It seems like an awfully convoluted process. I downloaded the file converter program referenced but it's the exporting of the Outlook emails that is so time consuming. I can't seem to select all the folders at once (and I have a lot).
    Thanks again! I'll keep trying.

  • Switching back to safari 3 from safari 4 beta ....

swiching back to safari 3 from safari 4 beta
first of all , i'm switching to Mac when snow leopard being released , GOD willing ...
but i'm a web developer + designer , and i wan't the users visiting my site see it as i designed and developed on the Mac , thats my point , to get ride of the **** of IE ..... because these features really made many people love to use Safari on windows .... so i wonder why apple removing them from 4 !!!!!!!! now the point :
--- switching back to safari 3 from safari 4 beta and i got the coole feel again :
    - safari native aqua form widgets .... ( maybe apple will get ride of Aqua and make a new set of widgets , but won't appear untill snow leopard released ) .......
    - safari's native drop-down window animations, alerts ... ( like the one i am using now ) ...
    - the pretty native round search box .... which feels to me how search box should be
    - get the pretty lucida GR font to be used in safari again as the base font.... it was removed from safari 4 beta !!!!!!!!!
    - got the pretty progress indicator again in
    in the address bar.
    - got the blue highlight for the address bar and the ( rounded ) search box in the toolbare ....

  • Switching back to BT nightmares

At the end of Feb I made the mistake of switching back to BT for Phone services. The BT site still says...
Switching is easy It's no hassle to move to BT from other telephone service providers
I tried to do it on line without success, so when I called I said I had the following add on services, Call Sign, Caller ID and 1571. No problem said the man, it will all happen automatically on the 16th March.
Come the 16th call sign number is cut off so 90% of all calls do not get through!
I call, Oh sorry this will be activated within 24 hours,24 hours pass, nothing.
I call again, Oh sorry this will take 3 days, 3 days pass nothing.
Then I get a paper bill for 3 months line rental, paper billing and non monthly payment charges. Yet when ordering I was told it would be added to my existing account.
Told to go on line to register for paper billing, system will not let me, nor will it let me access the new account.
So I call again to make a complaint - Among the rubbish service I was told, your line works you just don't have the right number. How is that a working service?
I call again, oh you might not get your number back, we may have to stop your service and restart it but that will take 3-5 days!
I just want a working service.
    Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I now have two accounts, I can access the old one on line but not the new one, yet the old one will let me see details of the new order. It will not let me combine them, So paper billing goes on, the line fault goes on, and 6 days later I still cannot receive calls!
Is it possible to get this resolved?
Is it possile to access my new account on line?
Is it possilbe to get some sort of refund for the hours and hours I have spent in the last 7 days trying to get the service I ordered?
Wondering what went wrong with human communication?

Thank you, I have emailed you with details.
I called again today and after 2 calls (one lasting over 45mins whcih was cut off) I am told another new order hasd been placed and should complete by 8pm tonight. I was also told that "they" cannot allocate the xxxxxx number. So what to beleve??
I just want the call sign number to work.
All the hours spent trying to resolve this and I get offered £20 compensation, thanks but that does not solve the loss of business and the need to have the call sign working on the number it was on.
Is there a reason this has happened - does this happen all the time?
    UPDATE AT 21:27 23rd March
I have just spoken to another person in faults.
They tell me our system does not support CALL SIGN so you can't have it!!!!
No one said this before, When I ordered in during the switch back to bt in FEBRUARY I was told no problem.
    CAN SOMEONE SORT THIS OUT?
