Switching from Orange to O2 and changing number

Hi there...
besides the obvious inconvenience of changing ones number, is it worth all the effort transferring PAC codes and all the bureaucracy that goes with it? I'm switching over from ORANGE to O2 this week and I still have 3 months left on my contract - I'm loath to have much to do with ORANGE as their customer service has been so bad. All I'd really like to do is give them written notice and pay out my three months and be done with them. If it means having to change numbers then so be it.
Anyone have any experience in this? thanks...

I did exactly this.
Got iPhone, activated, got a new number, called Orange, paid off my remaining contract, got sent a PAC code, (takes about a week) called o2, gave them PAC code and number, 5 days later, old phone goes off, and number is transferred. Voila!
I would say keep your number, you old phone works til it is transferred as is MUCH more convenient not having to change your number!
Just dealing with Orange was slightly boring trying to find the right person who could sort out termination of my contract, but all was good in the end!

Switched from iPhone to Android and now iMessage being sent instead of Text

A friend of mine recently switched from iPhone to Android and now my text are being sent as iMessage instead of text and he obviously isn't receiving it. How do I fix this bug. I'm using iPhone 4 running iOS 5

I apologize about the odd style but I'm using voice rec software. I just got the Galaxy S five and I have this problem too after weeks of searching online I finally figured out the problem it is with iMessage even if you have your old phones imessage switched off. you have to get your friends to text you normally and send. If the text bubble shows up blue, press and hold choose option send as SMS or text and the bubble will change to green green means SMS blue is the iMessage so its up to the iPhone user to take literally a half of an extra step to send a text to you and if they don't do that then they're just jerks

Some (Windows) laptops have easy access to memory and disk slots that do not necessitate taking the complete back cover off. However, Apple does not make life easy for you.
However, if you are going for a 'used' machine it is probably worth a try.
Not possibly, definitely wrong, Ram and Hard Drive are considered user replaceable and will not void the warranty if changed.

Switched from DSL to cable and now can't find apple tv in itunesdevice list

I just switched from DSL to Cable and now for whatever reason I cannot find my apple tv in the itunes device list on my desktop computer. If I use another laptop through the same wireless router I can see the apple tv no problem. My apple tv can see my wireless router and connect to the internet and watch youtube/trailers/etc.
I have tried restoring the apple tv, and have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the itunes on the desktop. I also reset the wireless router...none of the above seem to work. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this has been crazy frustrating...thanks in advance.

If you have an AirPort Extreme or a Time Capsule, you need to use the AirPort utility to access it. Otherwise, your router has a control panel that you can access by entering the router's IP address into your web browser. You'll have to check your router's documentation for the default login name and password, but it's often admin admin or root root (which is why you should at least change the password as soon as possible).

How to trigger an Idoc from Sales order creation and change

We are trying to trigger Idoc from sales order creation and change we have done following setting mentioned below:
Follow the below steps:
1. Go to NACE transaction
2. Select V1 application and select OUTPUT TYPES
3. Select the required output type and double click on Processing routines.
4. Enter Medium as DISTRIBUTION ALE, Program as RSNASTED and Routine as ALE_PROCESSING.
5. Save it.
message type ORDERSP in the distribution model (BD64).
Follow the below steps to configure the condition records:
1. Go to NACE
2. Select V1 application and select CONDITION RECORDS
3. Select the requred output type and click on Condition records
4. Selection screen will be displayed.
5. Go for execution. In that screen enter the selection criteria. For eg Condition record is based on Sales document type. Then
Sales doc type = OR
Funt = SP
Partner = blank. It means there is no restriction on partner numbers.
Medium = A
date/time = 4
Lan = EN.
Note: partner is left blank means, the sales order of type OR can be send to all partners.
6. Save it.
We also done ALE configuration.
We are facing problem that from VA02 "No output has been selected for printing Message no. V1102"
Kindly suggest the solution.

Hi ,
Please check the total error description and diagnosis as below :
InVa02 enter SO go to extras->output->Header->edit.You can find a table with all the triggered output types. Choose the output type BA00 with medium Distribution ALE and go for 'Processing log'. It will show you the error description.

I shoot with a Canon 5d Mark III in Adobe 1998 Color Space. I've been exporting JPEGS for web with Color Space sRGB.

Does your issue have anything to do with switching from Aperture?
In other words, if you take a new photograph with your camera, and import it in Lightroom, then export it, is there still a problem?
Or is the problem somehow tied to transition from Aperture, or photos migrated from Aperture...?
I'm guessing the reason you brought up Aperture is that you did not have export "color loss" issues in Aperture, like you are having in Lightroom, but since you didn't say... (just want to be sure).

Tapping the words don't work in iOS 7. Just swipe up or down anywhere on the screen until the mode that you want to use appears in yellow type on the right side. Yellow type indicates the selected mode.
Remember - swipe up or down to get to the mode that you want to use.

I've tried transferring the parent folders, but it doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know of a more efficient way of getting iTunes to dig into the subfolders and transfer the music without me having to go one by one?

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

Logic error in rotating a bot towards a target (switch from -180 to 180 and vice versa causes error)

Hi,
I am making a Bot class. This function rotateTo makes the bot rotate towards some coordinates, xTarget and yTarget.
There are two targetRadians lines because it is easier to read for me.
The target radians shows the angle of the target from the bot where the bot angle is this.angleRot.
if the bot-angle minus the target-angle (it says in radians but is actually in degrees) is less than 0 it turns right and if it is greater than or equal to 0 then it turns left.

This basically works. The bot rotates towards the target at 5 degrees per frame.
The angle setup is that if the target x, y is below the bot x, y, the target angle is about 90, if it's to the right its about 0, if its above it's about -90 but as the angle is decreased to -180 from above to the left of the bot, when it goes below the bot (and to the left) the target angle switches to 180.
So something like: with the bot in the middle and the target being located at one of the numbers;
          -90
-180               -1
180               1
           90
The fact the target angle switches from -180 to 180 or 180 to -180 confuses the bot and the bot decides to turn ALL the way the opposite direction BECAUSE;
if the bot angle is 160 and target angle is 175, the bot angle increases because target is greater than bot angle. If the target angle changes to -180, bot angle decreases even though it's more efficient to change from 160 to -180 through increasing the bot angle as at 180 it changes to -180. I just cannot work out the logic to use to make this work though.

so basically I added a couple of if statements before the main business.... I don't really have a coherent explanation for the fix but it works!

A few days ago I switched from using Podpress to Powerpress for my podcast. I followed all instructions and my feed appears to be valid. However, my podcast is not updating in iTunes at all and when I tried to resubscribe, I got an error message that said that there are no playable episodes.
Please, please...someone help. I really don't know what else to do and trying to get support from Apple or Blubrry has been fruitless.

Well, I was unable to locate the old feed (I don't even know if it exists in the conventional way, since it was set up by Podpress), and attempted to remove my podcast completely from iTunes in order to start fresh. Unfortunately, it appears as though iTunes no longer does this and instead directs you to add a <block> tag to your feed....and around we go.
So I've pleaded via Express Lane to please, please have someone change my feed to the new http://www.surrealla.com/feed/podcast/ ...that old feed should have never been set up that way in the first place. Argh.
Question: Can I resubmit my podcast to iTunes without deleting the old one? I'd hate to do that...seems tacky...but I have no idea what else to do if the pleading doesn't work.
