Switching my adobe flash player from 32 bits to a 64 bits system flash player
in my control panel under flashplayer is a 32 bit system download and in my systems display says it should have a 64 bit flashplayer system download , this is the reason why I cant play most of the internet games in which most will display that my adobe flash player needs updating and downloading . once I click on updates or down loads it will only download 50% then stops
There isn't a separate 32-bit or 64-bit Flash Player; the installer will automatically install both on a 64-bit system.

How Install Adobe Type Manager On 32 bit system
Installing Adobe Type Manager on 32 bit system gives error message saying need 16 bit system.
Thank you very very much. I bought these fonts from Adobe many years ago on a 3.5 inch disk which I still have. I assumed they were Adobe fonts. I have saved the disk contents on my network drive. I could use the Control Panel install from my network drive using my 6 year old desk top computer running Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3.
The Add Fonts from the control panel on my Lenovo SL510 running the same level Windows would allow me to point to the Font directory on the network drive but would not list the fonts. I had to move the the fonts into a newfont directory under C:\Windows. Then the Add Fonts would list the fonts and install them. I add all this because there have been over 130 views of this subject.

Recently, I've decided to make the switch over to mac. I have been avoiding it for years, purely because I was worried about whether or not I would be able to use the Adobe Creative Suite I paid so much for all those years ago.
Is there any way to change the licensing to be used on a mac, rather than a PC?

KyamiNo, it's not possible. CS4 is no longer eligible for any upgrades, so a platform swap is out of the question. You have to buy a new license.

I have tried everything suggested, it still downloads very
slow, like 1/2 second video and sound for like every five minutes
of wait time.
It would probably take more than 24 hours to view a 30 minute
video like this.
I tried you-tube and streaming video on other sites and it
still is too slow to watch.
A couple of days ago I could download streaming video from
one site that allowed me to use REAL PLAYER, and WINDOWS MEDIA
PLAYER and they down-loaded streaming video in real time the way
they should, so it can't be blamed on my ISP, or video card, or
machine, or anything else, it has to be the Adobe flash player that
want work correctly.
I uninstalled and installed many times and still will not
work right. I had IE 7 and uninstalled it and am now using IE 6 and
will not even work with IE 6 either.
Too bad the streaming video site that worked perfect doesn't
offer a choice of players anymore, they switched to

Your Shockwave Flash plugin probably is set to "Ask to Activate" (which means, click to play). You could try switching it to "Always Activate" on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins.
If Firefox only offers the options of "Ask to Activate" and "Never Activate" then most likely the version you have is on the "block list." This is a regularly updated list of add-ons that are either out-of-date or malicious. If you can approve the plugin to run as needed, then it is a "soft block" that eventually will turn into a hard block where you will not be able to enable it at all.

i bought the new bundle premiere elements 10 plus photoshop elements 10. when i got home i saw that it says on the back :
"For Adobe Premiere Elements a 64 bit System is requiered"
but when i check the minimum system requeirements on the side of the box it says:

I installed Firefox, and went to use a web-page. I was informed that I need to install the latest Flash player, so I went to the Adobe site. Adobe's installer would get to the 12% mark and stop.
I went to my Control Panel and uninstalled my previous version of Adobe Flash, tried again, same failure to download. I also can't access IE anymore, Firefox appears and has apparently beaten up and subdued Internet Explorer... which is not really an issue, but I'd like to get Adobe set up on my machine. I never had such a problem with IE.

Adobe Flash Player 10, when installed, closes the whole computer when it is used to play any clip from U Tube or other source. I uninstalled it and there was no further trouble but, of course, I cannot view the clip. If I reinstall it the same problem persists. I have contacted my 'computer guru' but his comment is that many of his clients have the same problem but it appears to be a problem with Adobe however many other friends have put in the version 10 Flash Player and have no problems. I do not appear to have any other problems with the computer such as viruses etc and it is scanned very day for such items. I would appreciate any advice you can give as it is very annoying, thanks, RAB

On both IE8 and Firefox. Win 7 32 bit on IBM T42 - 1GB ram.
Old laptop I know but the 10.1.x.x Flash Players worked just fine. Problem started with 10.2.152.26 flash player.
Now BBC TV live and iPlayer work just fine, however YouTube does not - audio but no video. Just a black rectangle where the video should be.
Right click to get the menu and "settings" is greyed out. However select the pop-out option and the video plays. Right click on the pop-out and "settings" is available. So deselect "enable hardware acceleration", close the pop-out and refresh the window (F5) and now YouTube videos play. Switch hardware acceleration back on and now they don't.

Feel free to try it out, but make sure you install it into its' own Program Files folderset and make sure you create a unique Profile for use only with Nightly. If the same Profile is used with both Release and pre-release versions problems sometimes arise after switching back and forth between different versions of Firefox. Basically, Nightly is like 18 weeks ''(at a minimum)'' removed from becoming a release version, but some projects stay on Nightly for a longer time as they are being developed. That happens to provide as many user / testers as possible, by not resorting to a separate development trunk version. -
Adobe Flash Player 32-bit/64-bit ActiveX 12.0.0.38 for IE - failing to install (via SCCM/SCUP)
Hi, I've been using SCCM/SCUP to update Adobe Flash for some now, and it's been working great. Much better than pervious custom scripting methods. However, the most recent version for IE, 12.0.0.38, isn't installing properly on some machines in my workplace (all windows 7 sp1 32-bit), and I can't figure out why. I can't see any pattern witht the machines that have the error.
The FlashInstall.log looks fine, no errors at all. And "Programs & Features" shows that version installed. However, SCCM keeps trying to reinstall and gives this error message: Installation job encountered some failures. Error = 0x80240022. I've read up on this message from previous flash versions, these seem to relate to different issues.
The few machines with Firefox have all successfully installed that version, which I notice for the first time I can remember, is a slightly different version number? Adobe Flash Player 32-bit/64-bit Plugin 12.0.0.43.
Has anyone else seen, this issue with 12.0.0.38 for IE, and have any ideas? ThanksMay be related to issues with logic in detection which Adobe is investigating.
