Switching off BT Fon for testing. How?

Since opting into BT Fon and enabling my HH as a Hotspot I've discovered my Acer One netbook can no longer conenct wirlessly to my HH thru' it's usual SSID, but can via 'my' BT Fon or BT Openzone SSID's. Spoke to BT. They were mystified and suggested switching off Fon to test. They, like me, could find no obvious way of doing it however! Anyone?

You need to opt of fon by going to there web site then waiting up to a week while it disables can you see the hubs ssid you should see it ok and should be able use with no problem
