Switching off the filter area in Workbook 3.5

Hi guys,
how can I switch off the filter area in the old version of the analyzer workbook 3.5.
This area is always on the left part of the workbook on the top.
In this workbook I need only the table with the result.
Regards
Erwin

Hi Erwin,
As I know you can hide the filter for key figures but there is no way to hide the characteristics filter. The only option is do not include any characteristics in Free characteristics or row area (not a feasible option in many cases) but if you don't want any characteristics data then you can go for this option.

Durgesh.

  • How to switch off the induction furnace with LabView efter an LCF test is finished?

    Hi,
I am working with low cycle fatigue testing at Instron 8801 and are
using Instron Fast Track2 LabView LCF software for controlling tests,
read the files, calculate modulus, etc. and produce figures. For
heating of the specimens during LCF-tests I use induction furnace with
Eurotherm 2604 controller. The problem I have is how to stop or switch
off the induction furnace when the test is finished?
I would be very grateful if You have any suggestions how to solve this
    problem.
    Regards

That depends on how you want to turn it off. I am not familiar with the Instron Fast Track, but the Eurotherm can be controlled directly from Labview using the modbus comms. When the test is finished, you can send a reset program command(if a program is running), or send a different setpoint, etc.
If you have digital outputs available on your computer, you could wire one of them to a digital input on the 2604 to do just about anything.
If you have the OPC version of Eurotherm iTools, you can control the 2604 with Datasocket connections.
Please give a few more details, and maybe we can figure out the best way to do it.

  • How to switch off the Yellow "Required Field" color in 9i?

I'd like to know how we can switch off the yellow background that appears on Required Fields (but still leave the required fields as required).
We are migrating our Forms 3.0 application to 9i and have not set the Required attribute for all our fields (some are auto-populating, some are just not set correctly) so some forms look strange with some mandatory fields yellow and some not. We have over 550 Forms and are at release one of our migration so we'd rather not worry about setting fields correctly this for this phase.
    Cheers,
    Tim.

    found the answer:
    in $oracle_home/forms90/java/oracle/forms/registry/registry.dat set:
    app.ui.requiredFieldVA=false
you can also set the color:
    app.ui.requiredFieldVABGColor=255,0,0

  • How to switch off the pop-up message in rspcm

    Hi there,
Does anyone know how to switch off the pop-up message in rspcm?
The monitoring user shouldn't get the pop-up below anymore:
„Statusänderung des Requests – Sollen Folge-Events ausgelöst werden?“
The pop-up in english might be
“status change of request - trigger subsequent processing?” or similar
We would like to outsource the process chain monitoring (rspcm) to our operating.
But operating shouldn't deal with the pop-up above and make decisions especially when delta infopackages are involved.
Thanks for your help in advance.

    Wolfgang Smetana

    Elena,
Is the subsequent process defined on success or failure ? if that is not defined - you might come across this message.....

  • Switching off the workflows...

During actual production cutover, we need a means of switching off team center and other workflow updates that send information out of SAP during conversion runs and switch them back on again after conversion.
We need something that we can use (like a flag or switch) repeatedly for the release
HEY guys anyidea what can be done about this.. .need to this ASAP... going live in a few days....
    Thanks in advance
    Update :
    For example
Now for a vendor create or change workflow.. we neeed to switch on or off the workflow depending on who is running it.. no which is std WF for vendor ?? i know questions are bit random... any help will do at this point
The business object BUS1008 for vendoe shows a stop sign...what exactly does that mean
The business object BUS2020 ACCOUNTS PAYABLE for vendoR is not implemented
The businedd obhect BUS3008 is active but the event is not implemented or released ..
These are all the details that i have... now i am not really sure who told these ppl that a workflow is triggered at all which sends the data to the Team center..
    Any ideas ???

    Hi,
Though I did not understand what you exactly need I can answer some of the questions you have asked below:
A stop sign in a Business Object indicates that the BO is obsolete and there is a newer version that is available. For example in the case of the vendor the newer version in LFA1.
To understand the various phases in a BO development then refer to this link:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/c5/e4ab0e453d11d189430000e829fbbd/frameset.htm
Now coming to the main question of switch off the workflow depending on some criteria. I guess this can be acheived through start conditions. Though a proper business scenario is needed to justify why some people are exempted from the workflow process you can do this through start conditions. You will need to maintain a table where you update the table with the users for whom the workflow is not active and at runtime check the "Document created by" user and check it against the table and update an attribute and have the workflow start on the basis of this attribute.
    Hope this helps,
    Sudhi

  • Switch off the automatic update of profit centers on the Balance Sheet acco

    Dear all,
In CO I am using only CCA and PCA. But I don't want to have the profit center updated on the balance sheet items.
For example I have it activated for all the automatical BS postings from MM
I need it only for the PL accounts.
How can I switch off the automatic updates of profit centers on the Balance Sheet Account?
Is it enough to deactivate the PCA on the Controlling Area?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Does anyone know how to switch off the internal wifi test use a wifi dongle at a usb input?

    HI
I am having problems connecting to wifi with a new Mac.
I have tried all kinds of things like shifting and monitoring my router's channel.
Short of using a power cube or crawling under the house and running a cable I have decided perhaps to use a Netgear wifi dongle.
I would like to switch off the internal wifi and allow the external device to connect.
With a new machine I really don't see why I have to do this.
Incidentally all my old devices have no problems with the wifi signal.
    Cheers
    Jack

    Thanks for the suggestions.
Yes I have done all that was suggested on that site.
i have also been in contact with Apple Care.
I have also reset the router firmware.
I downloaded a piece of software called inSSIDer and checked out other wifi channels in the area. I moved my preferred channel to another ones that looked better however that is back on auto now and the router seems to be picking up channel 6 which is the best one and scores the most points.
I use a netgear wifi dongle on my 'smart' tv and was thinking of using that however I am beginning to thisk that 'powerline' products may be the answer.
The Mac is only two weeks old and I seem to be messing about with the wifi connection most of the time.
I actually cleaned the whole disk and reinstalled the operating system earlier this week.
    Desperate or what!
Sometimes I think I should just return it but I like to solve problems and will keep going for a while before I lose patience.

    Firmware Update Process
To safely update FW, I recommend doing the following: Download the FW file from the support site first.
Disable the auto update feature on the router.
    1. Save router config to file first using IE or FF with all security add-ons disabled.
    2. Factory reset the router with all other devices disconnected or turned OFF accept for 1 wired PC.
    http://kb.linksys.com/Linksys/ukp.aspx?pid=80&app=vw&vw=1&login=1&json=1&docid=9d2ff02077f645679972a...
    3. Reload or Update the FW using IE or FF. Just download the FW file to your local wired LAN PC.
    http://kb.linksys.com/Linksys/ukp.aspx?pid=80&app=vw&vw=1&login=1&json=1&docid=0a6881b90224439b92c8d...
    4. Factory reset the router and then set up from scratch first using the local log in link and test with out loading the saved config from file. Check to see if any problems are fixed before loading the saved config from file. Sometimes you need to set up from scratch with out loading the saved config file. Just safer that way.
    PC Web Browser Configurations
    What browser are you using?
If IE 8, 9, 10 or 11, set compatibility mode and test again.
Disable any security browser Add-ons like No Script and Ad-Block or configure them to allow All Pages when connected to the router.
    Clear all browser caches.
Be sure to log into the local log-in account on the router first.

  • I've tried to update my i-Tunes version after the site suggested I should following my i-Pad being plugged into it for the first time. The update seemed successful but the program would not open at all despite switching off the PC and re-starting several

I’ve tried to update my i-Tunes version after the site suggested I should following my i-Pad Air being plugged into it for the first time. The update seemed successful but the program would not open at all despite switching off the PC and re-starting several times. I then tried wiping the original software from the computer and re-downloading from scratch. Each time I tried the download failed with a message saying “Service “Apple Mobile Device” failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services” At this stage, the only way forward was to “abort” the download. This I have done now four times and the same thing happens. When I did finally manage to get an i-Tunes shortcut on my desktop, the program wouldn’t open saying: “i-Tunes was not installed correctly. Please re-install i-Tunes. Error 7 (Windows error 193)” Any ideas to resolve this?

  • How to switch off  the  error sound  in Triversity

    Hi
How to switch off the  error sound in Triversity, The audio of the computer is already in mute state. The problem is found with DELL pc and not with HP

    Mohammed,
There is, actually, a better way to get rid of that annoying beep every time you get a policy prompt, error, etc.
I have a Dell Vostro 1300 and I have done this in other Dell laptops with sucess. Perform the following:
Go to Control Panel --> System --> (on the HARDWARE tab) Click on DEVICE MANAGER
In DEVICE MANAGER, click on VIEW --> SHOW HIDDEN DEVICES
Now, go to "NON-PLUG AND PLAY DRIVERS" and you will see "BEEP" listed as an active device. Right click on it and select "DISABLE" and then reboot your laptop.
You should be golden right after the reboot.
    Hope this helped,
    Alfredo Carigga
