Switching tab error

There is a Discoverer report that includes two tabs. Both of them have date parameters (from/to date) that are checked for "allow only one value for all sheets". The report runs smoothly in Desktop - i.e. going from one tab to the other.
In PLUS, when switching from one tab to another THE FIRST TIME ONLY, there is an error message in running the query. Even if I re-enter the same dates, I get the error message.
However, if I change the date in the parameters it is fine. And after that run, I can use the original parameter dates and it is fine - switching tabs gives no longer gives an error.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Leah

    It just states that there was an error running the query. No error number or specifics.

  • Every time I switch tabs I get this message "Exc in ev handl: Error: Bad NPObject as private data!" What do I do to stop this message from coming up??

    If I open up firefox & have more than one tab I get this message "Exc in ev handl: Error: Bad NPObject as private data!" whenever I switch tabs. What should I do to fix this problem?? Thanks for your prompt attention to this matter

  • AIR app crashes when switching tabs

    Hi there:
    I posted in another forum about this, but it seems the issues
    aren't really related, so a recap:

    1) The crash occurs when the user switches tabs;
    specifically, when the user switches from a tab which does _not_
    contain an HTML component, to one which _does_ contain an HTML
    component. Said HTML component looks for local content.
    2) The crash occurs when the app tries to phone home to
    Adobe; this phoning home appears to occur during item 1 above
    _and/or_ when the app is launched.
    Any help from above or insight appreciated.

    Hi Mirela:
    It may be that the issue is a non-issue with AIR 1.5.1
    (versus v1.5), so we'll see. Frustrating, nonetheless, especially
    since it is a sporadic issue.

  • Switch Executive error: -1074126826

    The following error occasionally occurs when executing a Disconnect All TestStand step, Switch Executive:"Filename",Connect/Disconnect.
    I Need a solution
    Error, Error executing substep 'Post'. An error occurred calling 'RunStep' in 'ISubstep' of 'TestStand Ivi Step Types' An error occurred while executing the step. Unexpected Error: Switch Executive failed to initialize for virtual device 'NLAWQAT_Rev01'. Details: NLAWQAT_Rev01_init returned an error: -1074126826 (0x%3). Source: TSIviStepTypes [Error Code: -1074126826, User-defined error code.]

    Hi Ken,
       does this occur if this switch is simulated too?
    That error can sometimes point to a timeout error in trying to connect to the device itself.
    Is there anything else going on at that point?
    Does it occur even if you step your way through the sequence?
    Does it ever occur on a cut down sequence?
    You say a "Disconnect All" step. Do you mean you have a step type that does this (i.e. the IVI-C switch step type) or you have this set on the switching tab of another step type (i.e. using switch executive)?
    What version of TestStand are you using?
    What is the model and manufacturer of the switch? Can you provide the driver install for that switch?
    Does it happen in the sequence editor, the operator interface or both? If both, which one does it happen in more?
    Which IVI compliance package do you have installed, and what's your version of VISA.
    Any other information you think is pertinent would also help.
    Thanks

  • Switching tabs while working with Premiere Pro CS5

    Hello there.
    I am currently working with Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 and I notice that when I'm reproducing/previewing the timeline or am recording, for example, an audio track, everytime I switch tabs (switch to another window or to desktop), in this case the recording stops. I've searched around Preferences and in help files and I cannot find an option to make Premiere continue what he's doing despite me changing windows. Is this even possible? It would be very helpful.
    Cheers!

    >Is this even possible?
    No... PPro must have full control of the computer to work... shift to another program and PPro stops

  • When I'm on youtube and I'm watching a video, and I switch tabs or look at something else, the video from youtube will appear in the corner of my screen and won't leave.

    Alright, lets say I'm watching a video on youtube. If I switch tabs, the video from youtube will appear in my top left screen and won't go away. Or if I go to any other site or program and try to open a file from my computer, the video will pop up in the corner again and I won't be able to see anything I need to. This sounds like a glitch or something. I just need to know how to fix it.

    Does this only happen on specific pages?

  • Cannot switch tabs past a tab viewing a PDF

    When I have a tab open with a PDF in it (using Adobe Acrobat 9.3.0.148 plugin) I cannot switch tabs using Ctrl-Tab and Ctrl-Shift-Tab past that particular tab. Ctrl-W won't close the tab with the PDF in it either. It looks like if you dont click within the PDF document or one of the viewer plugin toolbars etc it will let you tab past, as soon as you click within the PDF it no longer works, even if you change to a different tab and then try going past it again. Using the mouse scroll wheel to scroll through the document does not cause this behaviour to kick in either. Also in this state you cannot use Ctrl-F when you tab onto the PDF tab unless you click on the PDF itself (same goes for cursor keys and page up/down keys). FF2 used to allow you to tab past the PDFs without any issue, i noticed this on 3.5.1 while upgrading to 3.6.3. So its like keyboard focus is lost somewhere between FF and the PDF plugin.
    I remember in FF2 you used to get a faint rectanglular highlight within the tab so you could tell the focus was on the tab not within the page. Thats also gone now.
    I havent been able to find an existing bug specificaly on this issue, or any other potential work arounds. So just want to check before i log a bug, of course this could be an Adobe plugin issue, although it does appear to be linked with how the focus is maintained on components within FF.

  • How do I prevent firefox from switching tab groups when closing a tab?

    I really like the tab groups feature, as it helps cut down on the number of tabs I have open at once. The problem is that when I close a tab, I sometimes get shunted to another random tab group. It is then a pain to get back to where I was before. Is there a way to force Firefox to choose among the current tab group for a tab to open?

    This problem persists in Firefox 5.0 on all of my computers (Windows 7, OS X 10.6, and *any* Linux distro). It would be nice if Firefox was forced to remain within a single tab group until no more tabs remain. Also, if we have pinned tabs, closing the last non-pinned tab should select the nearest pinned tab, without switching tab groups.
    This issue is pretty annoying. It would be nice to see a remedy. For reference, here is another post with the same issue: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/828677

  • Is it possible to sort or filter the switch routes under the switching tab?

    In Teststand 3.1, is it possible to filter the switch routes under the switching tab in Action Properties?  Since I have a large amount of routes that have been created in Switch Executive, how can I filter out some of the routes from the "Routes to Connect" section?

    The TestStand Switching does not provide any inherent filtering capabilities.  You do have a couple of options, however.
    (1)  NI-Switch provides the ability to set up route connections in
    different groups.  The Switch Page in TestStand allows you to
    select Routing groups as well as specific Routes.  It may be
    easier for you to organize your Connections as groups and choose
    between different groups.
    (2)  The Property page also allows you to build route connection
    string and use that string  for your Switching actions.  It
    may be easier for you to build a Route string and easily change that
    string rather than selecting your routes everytime from within the
    TestStand window.

  • In MIRO screen, if clicked on 'TAX' tab  error 'Entry of tax not allowed in

    Hi,
    In MIRO screen, if clicked on 'TAX' tab  error 'Entry of tax not allowed in current account line' is displayed. Message number FF847. What may be the reason for this error message?
    Entry of tax not allowed in current account line
    Message no. FF847
    Diagnosis
    If you enter a tax amount in the current account line, the system does not allocate the amount to one tax code, but instead to all tax codes that exist in the document. In this case, the amount needs to be split up using the rule-of-three procedure. The sum of the computed taxes of all tax codes is used as the comparison basis. If each of the computed tax amounts of all tax codes equals zero, the system uses the sum of the tax base values as the comparison basis.
    System Response
    If the respective comparison basis equals zero, the system issues an error message.
    Procedure
    Go to the tax screen or tax tab page and enter the appropriate tax amounts for each tax code.

    Hi,
    Please check SAP Note- 1551857  for the same.
    Other terms
    FF707, FF716, FF796, FF847, FB70, SAPLTAX1
    Reason and Prerequisites
    There is a program error.
    Solution
    Implement the program corrections.
    When you choose "Cancel" on the tax screen during posting or simulation, the system returns to FB60 or MIRO again.
    The message FF 847 on the "Basic data" tab page is suppressed for company codes with jurisdiction codes if no expense items exist.
    Hope this will resolve your query.

  • Call a Function when switching tabs in TabbedPanel

    I am using Allan Jardine's DataTables javascript library , along with the Spry TabbedPanel. I have one table in each of a number of Tabs. The table in the tab opened by default (or if I use ShowPanel()) is fine. However, if I switch tabs, the other tables, which were hiden when the page was opened,  are not correctly initialised, and don't display correctly. Doing anything that causes the displayed table to be redrawn results in the table displaying correctly, and from then on I can switch tabs and the tables are fine.
    DataTables has an API function fnDraw(), which will cause a specified table to be redrawn. Is it possible to cause TabbedPanel to call a user specified function when the tabs are swapped, so I can call fnDraw()? I think this woiuld solve my problem.
    Thanks
    Ron

    Thanks.
    But I found a simpler way. At the end of the jQuery(document).ready(function(), which initialises the datatables, I added
    var ret=TabbedPanels1.showPanel("expiredquotes");
    oTable2.fnDraw();
    var ret=TabbedPanels1.showPanel("confirmedquotes");
    oTable3.fnDraw();
    var ret=TabbedPanels1.showPanel("openquotes");
    Which opens each of the "other" tabs and redraws the respective DataTable while they are "visible". Then at the end I display the 'default' Tab. I only need to do this once, when the page is opened, after which the tables are correctly formatted.
    Regards
    Ron
