Switching to a different workspace in Netbeans 6.1

I have my workspace for Netbeans set to my laptop hard drive but now I would like to put it on my external hard drive.
1. What do I have to worry about?
2. Whats the best way to do it?

Open NetBeans, close all Projects that are currently open in NetBeans, close NetBeans. Then just cut and paste your complete Project folder to the other hard drive.
Next time running NetBeans, open the Projects from it's new location

How to import shared components from a different workspace.

I have several workspaces / schemas (one to one relationship) in the same server.
When I try to install components exported from an application in one workspace to an application in another workspace I get an error because of the different workspace.
Source workspace/application = SCAI / 102
Target workspace/application = ACAMPO / 129
The objects in the database are identical in both schemas behind the workspaces.
Is it possible to edit the SQL file to address it to the target workspace?
I cannot see any uncommented entries in the sql referring to the application / workspace or schema name, but these two:

No, it won't work. The internal IDs of application components are all different between the two applications.
The objects in the database are identical in both schemas behind the workspaces.
This problem is not related to database objects like tables, etc.

When syncing multiple Google calendars to iPad, switching event to different Google sub-calendar using iPad creates a duplicate in Google.
Using Google account with the Exchange setup on an iPad mini. iOS up to date. I have a secondary calendar in my Google account for some appointments, and when I create the event on the iPad and it defaults to my main Google calendar, changing the event to the secondary calendar caused the following:
1) at first, the event totally disappeared from my iPad. Scary! Reappeared when I went into Gcal on the web, opened the event to edit, and re-saved. Phew.
2) Failing to re-create error #1, I switched a new event from primary to secondary calendar, and it then appears correct on iPad, but is duplicated on the web. The duplicate remains even after deleting the changed event on iPad, refreshing Gcal, etc.
Just curious if anyone else is having this problem or has discovered a workaround or fix.

When you open the Calendar app, tap the button at the top-left corner (Calendars). That should reveal all the calendars you have available, and you can select/ un-select any or all of them.
If you don't see your 2nd GMail calendar listed, go into Settings/ Mail/ (account name) and make sure you've turned the calendar ON for this account.

I want to downgrade. What versions are available. Or else I will switch to a different browser.

My university IT staff and software programmers can not keep up with new Firefox versions. The last one that is compatible is 7.0. I can not find a link for a downgrade to that version. The latest versions do not work with any of their PeopleSoft software and I am forced to use IE. If I can not downgrade, I will have to switch to a different browser. this is ridiculous!

Thanks for the replies. Matt says there are advantages to running the newest version, but I fail to find what they are. New versions are coming way too fast and from what I've learned, our university software will NOT be compatible with any version after 7.0 in the foreseeable future. Since all software programming is farmed out another company, doubtful they will want to use cor-el's suggestion of using 10.0 ERS, whatever that is.
My questions is still the same...where can I find a link to downgrade to 7.0. I can not find any supported earlier versions with a working link. Will I have to go down to 3.6? Even if I have to do that, I still could not find a working link.

You can authorize the computer! Top left corner, you wil see file, edit etc. Click sotre> authorize this computer, than go to edit> prefrences> devices, under back-ups click where it says to prevent auto sync when devices is connected. than you can connect the device, and theoreticall you could transfer purchases by right clicking on the name of the phone, and back up by the same method.

Why did apple switch to a different design other than the outer band dual antenna design in the iphone5 ?

This is a subject i'm not to familiar with but i do know a little about antenna design.
I was wondering what caused apple to switch to a different design (did they?). What research caused this change ?

Seamless playback within the same song, while switching to a different playlist

Sometimes I search for new music, start playing the top songs of an artist I don't know yet. And when I find a great track I would like to continue listening to it in the order of her album. Of course, I could add the album's tracks to my queue, but it would be so much easier, if I could simply click on the play-button of that same song and it keeps playing seamlessly. That way you could jump between playlists, top songs, albums etc. (as long as they share a song) without any interruption and without having to add and delete songs to your queue. I think that would be rather intuitive anyhow, but to make it extra easy to understand, a variation of the speaker symbol could be displayed with the song playing in every other place of Spotify.

Hi Marco, exactly. But other than by adding those tracks to the queue in my vision, the list of tracks changes every time I switch into a different list... hmm, hard to explain. Maybe it's easier with an example: 1. When I click on the top track of the artist alt-J, my queue looks like this:– Left Hand Free– Every Other Freckle– Breezeblocks– Hunger Of The Pine– Warm Foothills– Nara– Fitzpleasure– and so on... 2. When the track "Breezeblocks" is playing I am hooked and say "Cool, let me listen to the album from that point on". I switch to the album and then click on the playing song "Breezeblocks". My queue then looks like this:– Breezeblocks– (Guitar)– Something Good– and so on... until the end of the album 3. When the track "Something Good" is playing I find that this song is the wave I want to ride and search for a playlist with that song, so I click on "alt-J Something Good" by one Amanda McGlaughlin and my queue changes to this:– Something Good– Just A Girl– Shimmer - Single Version– Float On– and so on... So, instead of having to switch to my queue and delete the tracks I now don't want to listen to anymore (the ones from the album) and instead of having to listen to ALL of the songs of the artist after my added songs are played through, I have a simple one-click-control of what is playing next – always according to my current mood and without any interruption (could be a cool way to sonicate a party as well). Facetime Video stops when switching to a different space / desktop

Using facetime, if i switch to a different desktop the video pauses. How do I stop that? Strangely, I don't have the option in the dock to "Assign to all desktops" like I do for pretty much every other app. This disappearing seems to have happened in Mountain Lion according to what a friend sees on his machine. Anybody have any ideas or is this a bug?

Perhaps you have too many windows open. When you are browsing, a lot of desktop memory is used to switch between windows and links, and the toolbar memory. Yes. Technically there will not be any conflict as long as the private addresses used by the 2 clusters do not collide, and provided that the switch's port capacity and bandwidth will not be exceeded.
Your NA (netadmin) can also configure the switch to separate the 2 Interconnects from one another (called partitioning when using Infiniband) - if the switch supports such features.
A major consideration is not to make the switch, public. That typically cause a range of problems and can have a serious impact on an Interconnect. But using 2 private networks on the same infrastructure should not have the same problems - if configured and implemented correctly.

Copy Images from different workspace

Hi,
I have an application that uses 4 images. These images are in shared components -> images of that application. This application is in the workspace, say 'X'
When I go to these Images I see - #APP_IMAGES# xyz.gif
The only options I find there are - Display install file script and Display deinstall file script.
Now I want to use these images in my application. I am developing this application in a different workspace, say 'Y'.
How do I get these Images into my workspace? And put it in the shared components of my application.
Please Suggest.

Try this
Open Home>Application Builder>Application X>Export / Import>Export->see the tabs Workspace Users Application CSS Images Files Themes User Interface Defaults now click the image then proceed->
choose from Export Images in Application selectlist X->File Format=dos->Click EXPORT IMAGEs button.
X.sql file will get download
go to your workspace and choose Y application
Select the file you wish to import to the export repository. Once imported, you can install your file.
Open Home>Application Builder>Application Y>Export / Import>Import-> browse the sql file and
File Type=image import
click Next button-> image will import in your Y applicaiton
Conform by checking this under shared components-> images

1- I want to access an application module methods "application A", from another application module methods "Application B", the two applications are developed under different workspaces, Is this doable
in Oracle ADF, I need a solution other than web services if possible.

Or are you restricted only to the projects in the same workspace?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "reference." If it's just a matter of coding against the classes you've developed in another workspace, you certainly can--even if you don't want to deploy the project as a library. Just set your current project's "additional classpath" to include the "classes" directory of the project you want to use.
Even if, say, you want to use business components from the other project, you can "import" the other project's business components (select the business component package XML file to import them).
If you want to do something fancy, like actually ensure the other project gets rebuilt every time one of your projects gets rebuilt, then I think the only way to go is to add the project to the current workspace. (A project can be in more than one workspace; just "add to workspace" and browse to the other project's jpr file.) I'm not terribly sure I recommend this except in extremis, though--if a project is open in two workspaces, dealing with, e.g., whose job it is to actually change files in it can be difficult.
