Switching to a MAC which does not read media files on Storm

I recently obtained a MacBook Pro and want to use my Blackberry Storm for music and pictures as I have done with my PC.
Unfortunately the Mac does not read my media card. It does recognize the Storm but will not show any music files or photos.
What to do?

Did you select tracks that iTunes does not play?
also says it is for iTunes 4.1 rather than v10
Actually it states, " iTunes 4.1 or better".
iTunes 10 is better (more recent) than iTunes 4.1 and it works fine.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

Is your CS6 serial number for Windows or Mac? If Windows then you must apply for a platform swap to get a Mac serial number for CS6.

Support for Canon 5D MIII RAW files was announced in ACR 7.1 (Adobe Camera Raw 7.1).
The current stable release is ACR 7.2 while ACR 7.3 is still a Release Candidate (Beta).
Starting ACR 7.2, Adobe stopped supplying a manual download link which was available till 7.1. Adobe Application Manager (AAM) is the only way for you to update to ACR 7.2.
However, here is a direct download link that AAM connects to for the download that you can use to grab the .zip or .dmg (Mac) file. Download and install. See if you're able to open your files then.

The lightscribe DVD drives does not read media. Attempted software upgrade to no avail. Error.

The drive would not read media regardless of type or format of CD/DVD. Downloaded and attemted lightscribe DVD software upgrade; however, during installation system generated error stating "InProc Error". Something in programming of upgrade (get file...).

You could also try using System Restore to restore a previous restore point from before this became an issue.
If that doesn't work, you could try a recovery. Recovering your laptop to its original, out-of-the-box state is a great way to eliminate software as a possible cause of the problem. Note that doing a system recovery will return the laptop to its default conditions, completely wiping your data. Information on how to perform a system recovery can be found in your user's guide. On most models you can hold '0' (zero) with the computer turned off. Then press the power button while continuing to hold '0' until the recovery utlity starts.

Power Mac G5 does not read Photo Bank

I have an 80 GB Photo Bank produced by Smart Disk. It is a FAT32-formatted USB device with several folders of photographs on it after an overseas trip and I cannot establish stable connection with the device. Every time I begin to import photographs to Aperture my Mac drops connection and I can only import a small part of media files or nothing at all. The user's guide of the device says it is compatible with both Windows and Mac OS. I have not tried to import files from it in the past as it was purchased only recently.
iPhoto and Finder also lose connection to Photo Bank after a few seconds and cannot substitute Aperture for the purpose of image capture. System Profiler describes the device this way:

I forgot to mention in the original post that Photo Bank has an internal battery and can be also connected to 110/230 V AC power. I have it powered from the wall socket.
By now I have managed to import some of the files into Aperture and some into iPhoto on a PowerBook; after that, I transfered them to the Power Mac. It is a long long process!

We tried two different Windows 7 ISO images
When we start from a fresh boot , the 1st error is "Not a Windows 7 image", and when we retry we get "Not a 64 bit Windows 7 version.
What are we doing wrong?

Nokia Lumia 1320 does not recognize media files properly

I have the following problem with my Nokia Lumia 1320:
media files (either music or video) are not recognized properly and therefore seen in "other" section of Storage.
There has been a discussion here a while ago here:

But my problem is in fact that media files are not recognized even on the phone itself which is very surprising.
I have tried several ways to copy the files over:
- Win Explorer on Win XP
- Win Explorer on Win 8
- special app on Win 8
with the same result.
Moreover, sometimes the files are not read by the official Music app with the following odd errors:
- 80070002
- 80070003
Even more problems occur with the SD Card:
some files fail to be transferred there and disappear after the phone restart. I have tried the ways above to copy these files with no luck.
I have also tried both hard and soft phone reset, formatted SD Card via phone and PCs.
The problems described still persist.
Does anyone have ideas/ways to fix those problems?
The phone is really nice but it's pretty annoying to meet these problems.
Interestingly, my previous WPs (HTC 7 Trophy and HTC 8X) didn't have a half of the problems described above. Bad luck...

One answer to this elsewhere in the foum was to copy the discs to a thumb drive, then copy them to the new computer, then use those to install CS4 (or any pre-Cloud version) on the new machine. This works for disc-1. But there's no way to "install" disc-2 or to make the half-complete installation process pick up disc-2. How can I install CS4 on my new Mac?

DVD drive does not read media

Hi. This is regarding my Satellite L750 laptop (1 year old), for the past two days the DVD drive refuses to read any media - CDs/DVDs. I've done extensive and exhaustive searches to find a solution to this problem but to no avail. One of the most common problems I have come across is a software conflict with iTunes (installed on my machine) and a solution which states deleting "LowerFilters" and "UpperFilters" from the registry. I have tried this out but have not been succcessful in solving the problem. Also, the drive is listed in the Device Manager.
Just for the record, I have not updated/added/deleted any CD recording software or any other software. I have not even updated iTunes for the past two months.
I'm using Win 7 64-bit OEM.
Can someone shed some light on this issue? Will appreciate.

My PS CS5 does not read Raw Files

I have two Macs and on my MacBook Pro it has never read my raw files from my canon camera (.cr2) so I always edited those on the iMac.
Now after an update I can only edit raw images on my iMac (.nef) and I can't edit any raw images on my macbook pro at all.
What do I do?
I looked through some online tutorials and I checked for updates and it says the program is updated.
Any help would be so appreciated.

Ipod classic does not read my files

I just purchased an ipod classic (I haven't had one til today)and I connect it to my laptop, my computer reads it as a hard drive, so I copyed music and videos from my computer to ipod and when I disconnected it ipod was saing that I have no music files or no videos. So what I did wrong? Can't have itunes, not an option

If you can't have iTunes, you're going to have problems. If you drag and drop files on to the iPod through Windows Explorer, they will be available as data files to be transferred to another computer but the iPod operating system will not see or play them. You need to load the files through iTunes (best way) or some third party manager. I've heard there's a plug in for WinAmp that may allow you to load your iPod.

iWeb cannot import published files so you would need rebuild the site.
Yahoo hosting is notoriously poor and their tech support is awful. I would suggest you look for new hosting and start afresh. Some pointers for choosing hosting...
