Switzerland English or Italian movies.

Hello Apple Community. I live in Switzerland and we have FOUR (4) official langages (German, French, Italan, Romansch). The Italian language Swiss iTunes has a VERY poor selection of movies in English and Italian. Of course i tried downloading from iTunes Italy, UK, USA, Canada, etc, where they have a huge selection of movies, but that didn't work. I get the distinct feeling that we are somewhat ignored (i would really like to use the "f" word). WHEN will we be able to have access ENGLISH language movies and to the zillions of Italian language movies in iTunes Italy?????????

The way VoiceOver works is by "recording" the computer's voice speaking those song names on the computer during the sync. The shuffle is not actually generating a voice and speaking the names. It is just playing the recording of computer speaking those names.
Therefore, if the computer voice can say the names properly, you should hear the names properly using VoiceOver.

Need help with renting a movie/tv show on my Apple TV, in a different country.
I have tried to change the setting on my Apple TV but when I proceeded to rent a movie, it told me I needed to set up an itunes account?
I already have one in English/Australia isnt the sufficent ?
Any help would be really appreciated.

RESPONSES:
1)   When I set up my iMac, I did not transfer any data directly from my windows PC. I simply used the same iTunes login and account. I have access to all of the files via the "Purchased" section of the iTunes store. If I click "Download Previous Purchases" text, I can download ALL of the purchases I have ever made.
2)   I have the Apple TV 2, so good news, question answered. I thought maybe it was the Apple TV 1, but it is the Black model, so bam. Good response for you. Well the whole damned reply is an awesome response, just pointing out that one piece of awesome. I stated that it was an Apple TV 2, and yet you were still good enough to figure I could be mistaken, and provide me with knowleedge just incase.
QUESTIONS:
3)   So can my iMac not stream the data directly from itunes, without download? Apple TV can, but perhaps that is something among many things that maker it unique, and awesome.

I work in the computer support section for the Military. The only problem is we use Windows , lol. Well that and i've been gone for nearly 6 months on recover. I go back next month though I hope. But working in that field gives me the abilty to judge responses that run inside the same vein. Your response was so awesome that I half thought I might have written it myself.

Locale[] locales = Locale.ENGLISH();ENGLISH is not a method in class Locale, so do not add the braces "( );".
Also, the constant ENGLISH is not an array, but just a single Locale object.
You didn't say what your problem was. What do you want to achieve with your program and what is it that you don't understand?

Have Netflix live in DR need to get English subtitles for movies. Only offers Spanish or aportuguese

HAve Netflix. Signed up in Canada. Live now DOminican Republic. Subtitles for movies only in Spanish or Portuguese. How to configure English subtitles. Audio fine. it is English.

If the Netflix app doesn't provide subtitles in English, they may just not be available in your country. Contact Netflix support and ask.

Why can't I buy a movie in original language (english) because I live in Switzerland?

I really grinds my gears that I'm restricted to mostly German, French or Italian for the choice of the language of the movies I want to watch. I have to check every movie to make sure it is available in english, and I can only see that information on iTunes on my computer, which also ****** me off.
Apple, please do something about it. Why can I buy a DVD which will automatically have the original version in it, and not be able to buy a movie from iTunes without having to make sure it is in english when the movie WAS MADE IN ENGLISH...?

Because the movie studios released the movie to Apple with only those languages available.

Also, you should write the movie studios and tell them you want iTunes releases to be released with the original language as well as the language of the country it is released in.

Migration report to move BP and OneOrder texts to def. lang (Note 1155979)

Hello CRM Colleagues,
with the procedure described in SAP Note 1155979 "Other users cannot display an entry in the text field" in SAP CRM 6.0 and higher you can define a default language in table COMC_TEXT_COMLNG that will be used for language-independent text fields. An example for such a field can be found in the details assignment block of Accounts, Contacts, Activities and Opportunities.
We where looking for this option since a long time. But here's our problem:
We use SAP CRM in production since 2005 and started with Version 4.0 using the PC-UI. In 2007 we've upgraded to 5.0 and still used the PC-UI. Now we're in the process of an upgrade to CRM 7.0. Our users use the languages English, German, Italian and Slovenian.
But the note 1155979 talks about a limitation:
"This note does not affect existing documents. To avoid problems, you should make the setting before production startup."
What I'm now looking for is a migration report that will take i.e. the text in language DE and move it to the now defined default language EN. So after running this report our users can also benefit from this change for already existing Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities and Activities.
Has anyone created such a report?

Purchasing additional languages for movies on Apple TV

Hello,
We are a multilingual family, and are trying to promote the use of all our languages to our kids, French, Italian and English. We use the Apple Tv extensively, and I was wondering if there is an option to purchase aditional languages for movies on the Apple TV.
for example we purchase kids movies on the French itunes store and it includes both french and english languages, but not italian. However that same movies is available on the italian itunes store in italian. However since I have already purchased the movies i don't want to buy them all again on the italian itunes store. That would cost too much, but also we would have duplicates of our movies and in seperate itunes store accounts just to be able to watch them in different languages. This would be very inconvenient. In other cases, some movies on the french itunes store only have french as the language, however the english and italian languages are again available in the english and italian itunes store respectively.
The world is becoming ever more international and multilingual, and access to languages should not be so complicated. In fact Apple has always been a pioneer in offering all languages on their Mac OS and iOS, embracing the multilingual spirit.
IT would be extremely useful, if we could add aditional languages to an already purchased movie.

Movies - Multiple audio tracks strange problem

This is a strange problem.
I have a .mov with 2 audio tracks. One italian (the first and active) and one english. The movie is compatible with ATV.
Using QuickTime Pro I can choose the language while watching the movie.
Using iTunes I see the movie with the first language selected on preferences (cmd+j on QuicTime Pro).
On ATV the same movie plays just English, the second language, and this is quite strange.
Does anyone have the same problem?

Hmm, I don't really know. I have converted the DVD with 128 kbps for the two audio traks (stereo).Sounds like I need to go back and run additional tests. For my first attempt, I used two stereo tracks -- each 128 Kbps @ 44.1 KHz. For latest test used two mono tracks with the first 64 Kbps @ 44.1 KHz (keyed to English) and the second 32 Kbps @ 32 KHz (keyed to Italian).
I create a m4v video, I open with QuickTime Pro and work on the preferences for audio traks, than I save with mov extension.Had assumed we were both using similar strategies to create alternate audio movies here. Basically I create the movie with two audio tracks and then open the "Properties" window, select the first audio track (which is already set for English), set the alternate audio track pop-up for Audio Track 2, select the second audio track, set the language pop-up to Italian for this one, and use the Save As... menu option to create a Fast Sart, Standalone movie in the MOV container.
In this way I have a perfect double-language movie that, as I told, works perfectly on QuickTime and iTunes.Did have one question though. When you say you have a "perfect double-language movie that ... works perfect on QuickTime and iTunes," are you saying you can change the language in iTunes while the movie is playing? While I have no problem changing language using the "Choose language" menu command in the QT player, I have yet to be able to find a way to do this while playing in iTunes.
UPDATE: to temporally solve the problem I have changed the infos on movie properties. Calling the English audio track "Holland" (or any other language that is listed after Italian) I have solved the problem. On Tv, iTunes and Quicktime I can hear the "default" language (italian) and, just changing again the properties, I cand hear the second language.I think we are doing the same thing only I did not bother/have to use and additial language setting to get this to work.
In this case Audio Track 2 (Italian) is the default.
In this case Audio Track 1 (English) is the default.
Thus, for my test, I created two separate movies with each defaulted differently and played them back in each program/device to see which audio track played. In each case it was the "checked" default audio track and changing the "Language" setting for TV to Italian had no effect.

I Would like to get downloadable content in english or Italian but iTunes is showing only Spanish.

sfrattini, please go leave feedback although I am not sure that Apple listen much to us users. The way this works is backward and they need to know that in other parts of the world outside the states that people live in countries that speak different languages than their mother togue. It really does my head in when developers from the USA write these web syatems and just don't understand that in Europe there are a lot of languages over a small area and people move around a lot, it is only common sense that account holders should be able to set their account language for any language they want. I remember another very large online service that was written for every language but if in Spain the English language was not available!!!!! why not, not everyone that used the system in Spain was Spanish, how out of touch can the people that run these system be.
So please go and give off to feeback.

I need to download the iso or at least the esd file for the new build 10041 of Win 10 Pro TP x64, because I have to reinstall it on a VHD to double-boot on my machine. I know that this is a fast update so there is not yet an .iso to download.
Till now I tested Win 10 Pro TP on a Hyper-V VM included the last update to 10041 build, but I am having many limitations (audio drivers, webcam drivers, Cortana in Italian, etc.) so I decided to move to a booting VHD on my x64 machine.
I have the link to the us-en .esd link (from us magazines), but not to my Italian version needed to create the iso image, where can I get it?

Basically the link he provided is about the followings ...................
1. Download 9926 ISO selecting the desired language (which is Italian in your case ). Install build 9926. Install the necessary windows updates and wait for build 10041 via WU.
OR,
2. Wait for the release of build 10041 ISO ( which will come same time as the release in Slow ring ). Then, you can select the desired language and download the ISO for install.

Booking if goods receive in Italy - special italian bookkeeping rules

actually, we are implementing SAP Business One on a server in Germany for our italien company. During the integration tests, we found out that the booking of goods received in Italy is different to the booking on other european countries.
It seems, that when the goods received are booked, the system books the quantity to the stock, but not the value.
Has anyone a documenation ((in german, english or italian language) about the specialities of booking of logistic processes (material movements) in Italy ?

Hi Michael,
There is no difference in the way the goods are booked in Germany or in Italy.
Please check the setting under:
Administration -> System Initialisation -> Company Details -> Basic Initialisation -> 'Default Valuation Method' (version 2005) or 'Use Continuous Stock' (version 2007)
If this is not ticked that means that this company has not been set up to manage Continuous stock, in this case there will be no posting to stock when a Goods Receipt is done.
In stead with this setting Business One will work as a periodic database and all accounting postings to Stock will have to be done manually after a manual stock take has been performed.
If the above setting is indeed ticked and the posting is done but to the wrong account. Please note that this is not because of the localisation but rather a result of the account determination done for this item.
also note, the setting mentioned above is not reversable.

While i am Doing an XMl publisher report in english and Italian Languages i am facing an issue with the Dot translation.
For eg: 4.5 is translated to 4,5 in Italian.This creates a problem for me when i am doing summary on this column.So how should i handle in case italian.

IPhone 5 (iOS 6.1.4) autocorrect changes English words to a foreign language

Hello all--
I have previously only had my phone languages set to UK English, American English, and Italian. I've never changed autocorrect or anything, but today I was typing a text when suddenly it began changing words like "so" to "di" and "sure" to "dire" and not recognizing English words like "will" or capitalizing "i".
I tried typing "Hey so does this work" and it changed to "Jet so dose tris work" and I do not at all understand why this is happening. I still run on iOS 6.1.4 and refuse to upgrade--iOS 6 hasn't changed so I don't believe it is an OS problem. I do not know what other information would help people help me, but just let me know and I will respond with the most detailed information I can give you!
Struggling changes to "struggono" and "please" turns to "pleiade" and I'm struggling just a little bit!

Have you double checked the "globe" key to make sure your keyboard is set to the right language? That is what determines the kind of autocorrect you get.
