Which Mailbox did u setup with N8 ? I have Live Hotmail and Mail for Exchange on N8 and both of them have setting to check mail everytime (it doesn't name PUSH on the interface).
Update Time-Setting for each Mailbox is independent from other Mailbox.

Push mail is not working for gmail and hotmail on ...

i have been using my nokia e72 since february 2011. i had two mailbox configured, gmail and hotmail. Until last week, everything was fine. but suddenly my push mail stopped working for both gmail and hotmail.
when i noticed this, i removed both of my mailboxes and tried to create a new one. when trying to create a Gmail mailbox, it goes fine upto "downloading terms". after that, when i choose to connect to "nokia messaging service", it creates a mailbox named "HOTMAIL" instead of "GMAIL". it takes only my user name for Gmail and rest of the settings are for HOTMAIL.
if i choose not to connect to "nokia messaging service" then it works quite well. but thats not real push mail. it will check my email every 5 mins. but when tried to create a "HOTMAIL" mailbox, i had no luck. no matter how i try, hotmail mailbox can't download my mail. and as hotmail don't support IMAP, its very disgusting to use "POP3" if i choose not to connect to nokia messaging.
i have tried to reset the phone using *#7370# and *#7730#, but no luck. i also tried reinstalling the firmware using ovi suite, but i didn't had any luck either.
please help me, i am very disappointed with this kind of problem specially from nokia.
someone please do help. i m in a huge mess.

C6, Gmail and All Mail

Is there any possibility to have All mail "folder" for Gmail - account? (for Nokia Messaging or what ever is the name of the email program preinstalled.)

Thanks but I am not interested to mess up with MfE and on the other hand there is no support for C-series. I'd like to enjoy using Preinstalled Messaging software. Isn't that the purpose of offering it to customers.

Separate Folders Required for GMAIL and Yahoo, E63...

I have lately acquired a Nokia E63. I have configured Nokia Email for accessing gmail and yaho mail. Once set up, I see a single 'Inbox' which has mails in both GMAIL as well as Yahoo. I need the mails in separate folders. I have used Nokia E65 before this, and it was working perfectly.
Any leads, appreciated.

What version of Nokia Messaging is installed on your device? You can find this out by opening up the Nokia Messaging client (Email) and selecting Options --> About. Also, what firmware is installed on your device? You can find this out by pressing: *#0000# on your device.

Search for mai in gmail and copy text

I am having hard time to copy text. Basically, I need to search for mail in gmail and copy text to be sent as text message or copy as note.
1 In ff and default browser, I can search for mail, but no select option
2 In Nokia messaging there is no option for even search.
When I swipe from left to right, whole scree is moving. Appreciate any help.

For Copy-Pasting from Gmail, I am not aware of the technique of doing the same from a browser. The copy-paste function works well from a text-field to another text-field.
So, I just forward the Gmail message, so that the body of the text appears on a text-filed inside the browser......and then I copy-paste it................without really forwarding the message to anyone

You should be able to see two different tabs when setting up the email if you go to Other > Add Mail Account. Once you enter in the email address and password, you should be at the next screen to provide more details about the email as far as incoming and outgoing servers and at the top there will be a blue section to add it in as a POP or IMAP email account. Firefox crashes when loading Gmail, and random other pages, and freezes often.

Firefox upgraded itself to 3.6.10 sometime last Friday, I believe, and every since I cannot get into gmail, and it freezes often. When I try to log into gmail it will crash immediately. Sometimes if I click "sign in" rather than hitting "enter" it will load, but will lock up or crash within minutes or seconds. It also will lock up if I have more than three or four tabs open, often when loading a video, and crashed while loading Nexis, which I use often for work to do research.
I have disabled add-ons, disabled extensions, run in safe mode, uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted, downgraded, re-upgraded. Nothing has worked.

Problem does not seem to occur on a modern Win XP nebook with 1 gig RAM, but does on a relatively old laptop running Win 2000 with 98.5 MB ram.
Error message states that a script is running from a Firefox directory and asks to stop it. Crash occurs anyway!

Safari won't open my gmail because of "too many redirects". I was in my gmail account and was forwarding an e-mail at the time I was "kicked out" of my gmail and then saw the screen about too many "redirects".

First thing to try is just to sign out on all your devices. If you can do that you can just sign in with the new ID. However if you've set up 'Find My iPhone' you won't be able to.
In that event go to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with your iCloud login. A new password will be sent to your associated email address. If this doesn't work you will have to contact Support. According to your descriptioin, I don't think this is system problem, it should be Intel driver problem. It would be contact Intel to confirm this issue whether this is their driver problem.

Is it possible to have bookmarks that will auto-login to two different gmail and facebook accounts?

Right now I have separate user accounts for my wife and I, merely for the reason of keeping our bookmarks separate. Its forced us to come up with the usual workarounds for sharing iTunes, iPhoto, etc, and multi-users for us is only useful for keeping separate safari bookmarks.
Certainly, I could just have my wife use firefox instead, but then bookmarks don't sync with the iPhone and iPad. I wish that safari supported profiles like firefox, but it doesn't.
As another option, we can separate stuff into different folders and what not, but what I can't figure out is how to make it so that we could each have bookmarks for gmail and facebook that would log us in automatically. Its kinda stupid, i know, but being able to just click facebook and have it go straight to our account is really nice, and having to manually login each time is a nuisance.
anyone know of an easy fix for this?

Hmm... I hadn't thought of XControls! I'd rather not go that route, though, in the interest of keeping the error handler code as light as possible. (In the daemon itself I don't mind more complexity) If I did that, the cure might be more expensive than the problem it solves.

Sadly, this app is rather "free form". It has a lot of multi-threaded, asynchronous operations since I'm performing parallel TCP communication to several hosts. Each dynamically called VI calls the error handler.
Option 2 might be a decent idea, though. If I went with that, I'd just have to tweak the architecture accordingly. It may well be the most feasible solution.

No, I have a Mac and my email connects via our pacbell account we've had for years. However, something in the Preferences/Accounts is not correct I am guessing. Also, it asks for the password and if I put it in and click save through general or viewing, it's NOT saving it and still not allowing me to get email. My husband tried reading about this through our AT&T acct and said to change the incoming server to imap.mail.yahoo.com and outgoing smtp.mail.yahoo;[email protected], but now I can't receive or send any email on my Mac. In advanced not sure if it should be Port of 465 or 900 something or other and SSL checked or not. I called AT&T and they want to take over my machine by charging $15/mos for a year to fix this. Ridiculous.
So, everytime prior to yesterday, when my husband messed around with it, I was getting a POP needs password box, typed in my password, but to no avail..Then it Keychain password popped up and assumed it was the same, but there's no way to change or modify it even using the new password my husband set up through AT&T. I am at a complete loss.
I can access mail through yahoo mail and it takes me to AT&T Yahoo Mail, but no contacts are there so needless to say this is a pain.
I appreciate any assistance you can give me so I can get back on my email as I have for 4 years.

Gmail and calendar.. sync vs on demand viewing.. calendar notification

I just picked up an iPhone 3G. I never used one before, and I'm definitely impressed.
One of the first things I tried, that was the new google mobile search app, and the sweet gmail and calendar access. http://www.google.com/mobile/apple/
I'm trying to decide if I should also setup my gmail and calendar to sync to the iphone mail and calendar apps... if that really adds much value.
The first issue that comes to mind is setting up calendar / appointment reminders. I chose the 200 text message 5 dollar SMS plan, so I'm thinking it would be a bad idea to have google's calendar texting my phone for each event reminder. Would be incredible if those notification found there way to the phone via the sweet 3G or edge or wifi data access... I remember apple saying they setup this incredible service to enable 3rd party apps to present that type of data without having background programs running, so I'm hoping google's calendar will be able to notify my iphone without the text messaging scheme soon.
anybody know if my notification wish is something anticipated? on the way? or am I being a bonehead, and I should be setting up some sort of synchronization to the apple calendar app?

As for gmail, I have the same curiosity...sure I could sync via IMAP to the local mail app, but again, google's web based gmail interface seems to have it beat right now.. landscape larger keyboard view and all sorts of other goodies I'm sure.

My gmail, which is correctly configured for Mail with gmail SMTP and Google IMAP, works for awhile on Mail, which I leave open while working on other applications. But several times a day I get msg from Google: "We recently blocked a sign-in attempt to your Google Account" . . . and requiring me to verify my account details, re-enter passwords, confirm security settings (or change them from "disable" to "enable less secure methods" and so on). In Mail I also have tried "taking all accounts online", and re-entering my gmail password inside Mail account settings. These steps successfully re-set comms between gmail and Mail ... for awhile, then it happens again. Enough occurrences over a work day that I just quit Mail and revert to accessing gmail directly. Apple Care advisor and an Apple knowledge base article say that Apple can't deal with this, as gmail is third-party app, and they refer me to gmail, and so far I've found nothing helpful there.
From today I also have several instances of a window saying "Mail has unexpectedly closed" and asking me to Re-open it.
I also use Yahoo mail, which stops working with Mac Mail at the same time as gmail, but I do not receive notices to re-verify from Yahoo.
I recently upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite. The Mail problem happened occasionally with Mavericks but is far more frequent with Yosemite.
