SXMB_ADM_BPE - Automatic BPM Customizing

Hi Friends,
When i have done simple FILE TO IDOC, it worked fine. but when I am trying to implement FILE TO IDOC scenario using BPM, it was failing.
in SXI_CACHE, process status code is 99 instead of 0.
checked conditions, it was fine.
but when i went to
SXMB_ADM_BPE -> Automatic BPM Customizing
all are not green.
i think this is causing problem. ideally all should be GREEN.
Can you please suggest how to solve this issue?

yep it compiled fine without errors. to compile i did F7 in the business process.
colin, usually why automatic bpm customizing were not all green?
but what i found is
SXI_CACHE -> entered into workflow mode.
then i did syntactlical check results one error but not able to find that error?
is this error caused because automatic bpm customizing were not all green?
or they are all not green because some error has occured in the business process?
please advise.

I entered the transaction "SWF_XI_CUSTOMIZING". There i can see that all are not GREEN.

Urgent: Issue in Automatic workflow Customizing.

Can someone please help me with this issue in Automatic workflow customizing ( SWU3)
When I try to execute the step
Maintain Runtime Environment > Schedule Background Jobs with missed deadlines
I get the error message saying
"Output Device "" not known"
Can someone help me how to resolve this? This is very urgent for me.

The guidelines tell you not use the word urgent in your message title, so please don't. Personally I try to not answer such questions until at least one day has passed, giving you some time to cool off and perhaps solve the problem on your own.
I can't recall seing this message myself, but my guess is that either your user or the user WF-BATCH (if the job is being scheduled with that user) has a default printer (output device) that is not defined in the system.

How do I automate a custom component not implementing UIComponent?

I have tried using Adobe's instructions for automating custom components by creating a delegate class to use as a mixin, but
1) the super() statement in the delegate of the constructor is not recognized by the compiler,
2) I am not able to use a DisplayObject as an argument to init(),
3) I am not able to return the custom component as a IAutomationObject from the parent component's getAutomationChildAt method.
Is it simply not possible to automate a custom component not implementing UIComponent?

If you look in the library panel, there should be an entry for your custom component - probably something like CustomComponent1.mxml. Drag this out onto the artboard to create a new instance of the component.
In the case of a custom component, you can't change much on the second instance. If you have something like a text input skin though, you can change the text it is displaying for each instance.
We are working on making this sort of thing easier in the future, so stay tuned

Problems with Automatic Workflow Customizing

Hi!
I am having problems with Automatic Workflow Customizing (SWU3). I am trying to execute "Configure RFC Destination" manually. I receive the message "Synchronization of passwords failed".
We are using CUA and it is therefor not possible to create the user from SWU3 which means that WF-BATCH has been created in CUA with a pw which is then filled in by me when executing "Configure RFC Destination".
WF-BATCH has authorization SAP_NEW, SAP_ALL
My user also has SAP_NEW and SAP_ALL and usergroup SUPER.
Does anyone know what might be the problem?

Hello Anders,
Check if the user is locked in SU01. Then check if your user has been created in CUA.
It is recommended to delete WF_BATCH. The system will auto create the user ID WF-BATCH and synchronize the password.

SWU3 - Automatic workflow customizing

Hi All,
We have a situation where all users are receiving error messages in their SBWP inbox. most of them are related to error processing with IDoc. the user inboxes are flooded with error message and they are not able to open their SBWP.
It seems that in SWU3 - automatic workflow customizing setting "Idoc interface" is active.
Path : SWU3 > "Classify Task as General" > IDoc Interface (checked).
We need to deactivate this Idoc interface but we are not able to do the same. Can some one let us know how to do this.
Also if there is some other cause of this problem then please let us know. Currently we are purging the error workitems but they keep on generating in the background.

For this purpose you need to contact BASIS team to deactivate this.
Alternate solution :
Get the task id of that workitem. Open it through tcode PFTC and make the task attribute form to "General Task" to "Forwarding not allowed".
Run PFCT
Enter tour Task id ( eg. TS00008068 , please remove leading TS )
Addition data >>> Agent assignment >>> Maintain >>> Attributes
Form the next run of the workflow workitem will not reach to SBWP.
For the workitems you need to delete mannualy or forward it to a idle user.

How to execute automatic Workflow customizing settings in swu3 transaction

Hi Folks,
We are trying to execute automatic Workflow customizing settings in swu3 transaction.My basis team has done all settings except maintain prefix numbers" and "check entries from HR control tables.Basis team is asking us to do these settings(either functional/abaper). When I am trying to execute check entries from HR control tables am getting an error.Please find attached screenshot of the same.
Maintain Prefix numbers settings is maintained but still it is showing red.
Please suggest how should I be doing this.

Hi Jaya,
Maintain Prefix Number - As far as my knowledge concerned Prefix number is required to create the Org determination rule. Org. determination rule contains the eight digits, in which first 3 digits come from the prefix number.
1. Use the T-Code SWU3
2. Go to Maintain Definition Environment
3. Click on Maintain Prefix number and click f8 (execute).
4. Create new entry with
     a) three digit prefix number (unique)
     b) Sap system
     c) Client
     d) Package

Error while executing Automatic Workflow Customizing

In ECC6.0, i need to activate all the workflows in SWU3 (Automatic Workflow Customizing), but i was able to activate only some of the steps, remaining is still in red mark. While executing "Schedule Background Job for Missed Deadlines", it is giving error as "Object with runtime number ' 0' not defined". So please let me know how to resolve this issue.

Dear Experts,
I am geeting error in SWU3 - Automatic Workflow Customizing in 1st step.
1st step - Maintain Runtime Enviornment does not become green due to error in element " Schedule Background Job for Deadline Monitoring "
The error message is " Error within method CL_SWF_ADM_JOB_FACTORY=>GET_INSTANCE->"

condition evaluation job, searches for forks in workitems and logically deletes branches which are no longer needed. Suppose you have a fork, 1 out of 2, at the momen of creation 2 workitems are created, if one of these are met, the second one still exists, untill the conditon job runs it then logically deletes the not needed branch.
event queue, is something like workload balancing (see also tr SWEQADM) basically it consists of 2 parts, the interval and the number of events. suppose the interval is every 5 minutes and the number of events is 100. Suppose at one time 1000 events are fired, if the event queue was not set, the system would handle all of these events this has a high impact on a productive environment, with the event queue, the events are handled in bundles of 100 every 5 minutes.

Automatic Workflow Customizing needs to be undone

Hello all,
I am embarrased to report that I have caused problems in our production system by doing automatic workflow customizing using transaction SWU3. We are on ECC5.0 and do use workflow on a limited basis. We were planning to make more use of it, which is why I was looking at it. I was looking at SAP note 332149.
How can I reverse the damage I've caused? SBWP inboxes are full on workflow items - 900,000 items in one. Short dumps are occurring with alarming frequency.

My question has not been answered, but the problem has been curtailed.
What I eventually was able to find out, what that after doing the automatic workflow configuration, workflow went and acted upon all the old "Status 29" idocs in our system. I had to run report SWWDHEX to delete all these idocs. Once deleted, all inboxes returned to normal.

OTR CREATION IN BATCH MODE / AUTOMATIC "CIF" CUSTOMER IMMEDIATELY AFTER CREATION IN ECC

Dear All,
My scenario is: We have a Web dynpro customized screen for Customer Creation and Sales Order creation in SAP ECC. This screen first send data to CRM where Customer is created and Customer code is flowing back to my screen immediately. Using this Customer Code, Sales order is created from the same screen using standard BAPI.
Now as per standard behavior, data will be sent to TM immediately after sales order creation for OTR creation, where it will fail as customer created was not CIFed to TM. So as per my understanding, my issue can be resolved by any of the following ways:
Option 1) Automatic CIF customer at the time of Customer Creation: By this if customer will automatically CIFed to TM immediately after the customer is created in ECC through CRM, then there will be no issue even in creating OTR immediately after Sales order creation.
OR
Option 2) Creating OTR in batch mode instead of immediately after Sales Order Creation: By this I can first CIF Customer to TM in Batch JOB and then subsequently OTR will be created in Batch Job.
Please suggest more feasible option out of two options mentioned above and also how to achieve the same?

2. How did you achieve the automatic FO creation when building FU? Because when I create a FU, there is no FO created automaticaly.

Undoing automatic workflow customizing swu3

No, but I'm curious to know why you would want to do this?
Undoing the customising is not difficult. If you want to prevent anything workflow related from running, just disable the RFC destination WORKFLOW_LOCAL_<client>. You can also unschedule all the jobs such as deadline monitoring etc from the workflow transaction menu.

BPM Custom Worklist Implementation

Hi everyone,
I am working on BPM custom worklist application. I followed the steps to create a sample page with using TaskList task flow as explained in [BPM User's Guide|http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/user.1111/e15175/bpmug_ws_taskflows.htm#BACFBHAE]. But when I browse to the sample page that contains TaskList task flow, it just renendered a blank page and the below exception trace is thrown on SOA console. I guess it's coming from security related issue. Does anyone know what the cause of the problem is? Thanks in advance.

Web logic and SOA server are up and running.
I guess there has to be at least some config file but in the link I gave at the beginning I can't find any explanation how to write it.
Is there any better tutorial or explanation?

Reconciliation account defaluted automatically in Customer master XD01

When we are trying to create customer master in XD01/FD01, the reconciliation account is automatically showing 155230, and when we tried to change to our reconciliation account even after saving customer master, it is again going default to 155230. I am using ECC 6.0. Please help us how can we solve this problem.
