SXMS_CONF_ITEMS

hi
under component monitoring, under self ping test, I see four options. One is does the Integration engine know the buisness system ? Another is Are roles in SXMX_CONF_ITEMS and SLD consistent ? What exactly do these tests mean ? When do we use these tests ?

These tests are useful while installation, Adding Business system etc in your SLD, Installing new SP on PI server.
Hope this clear your doubts.

  • Are roles in SXMS_CONF_ITEMS and SLD consistent?

    hello!
i installed and configured my new XI system.
when i go in Runtime Workbench (via browser) i see an error in result of  Integration Engine monitor .
"Are roles in SXMS_CONF_ITEMS and SLD consistent?"
i check all in SLD and i think is ok.
    have you any suggestion?
    thanks
    Alex

The role of a business system is defined centrally in the SLD.
However, you can overwrite this setting locally in the table SXMS_CONF_ITEMS.
This test checks whether the role descriptions are consistent. If not, the locally defined role is used at runtime.

  • No role for business system defined in SXMS_CONF_ITEMS

    Hi Experts.
I have the following problem. We were set up the XI in our company and now we are trying to configure and run it propertly. We had some problems so far and now there is the next one: I configured the simple scenario FILE-XI-FILE but it doesn't work <b>:(</b>. Every step from the scenario was completed successfully (after some problems) but when I have started runtime Workbench (RWB) in order to monitor the functionality of XI and I choosed <b>Component Monitoring | Components | Integration Server | Integration Engine GPI</b> I see that I have an error in Self-Test Status | <b>Are roles in SXML_CONF_ITEMS and SLD consistent</b>? In detail it's <b>No role for business system defined in SXMS_CONF_ITEMS</b>. My business and technical systems look to be well configured but now I'm hopeless because I can't find nothing more specific about <b>SXMS_CONF_ITEMS</b> table. I tried some notes and threads from the forum but nothing helped me after all. So please help if someone has an experience with something similar. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
    Ondrej

    Hi,
The role of a business system is defined centrally in the SLD. However, you can overwrite this setting locally in the table SXMS_CONF_ITEMS.
This test checks whether the role descriptions are consistent. If not, the locally defined role is used at runtime.
Check in transaction SXMB_ADM -> integration engine configuration a parameter (Corresponding Integ. Server) if all parameters are correct n not lost.

  • SXMS_CONF_ITEMS error in PI 7.10

    Hello,
We installed new PI 7.10 and consulting Readiness Check to configure it.
In RWB integration engine status is RED in detail it is showing. No role for business system defined in SXMS_CONF_ITEMS.
As well as Central CCMS monitor not available
    How can i fix this.
    Thanks
    Rhishabh

    Hi Rhishabh
    Check in trx sxmb_admin
    -> Integration Engine Configuration
-> Role of Business System (should be Integration Server)
-> Corresponding Integ. Server (should be left empty or contain the Integration Server URL)
"As well as Central CCMS monitor not available" - this is because CCMS is not configured in this system yet. If you wish to use CCMS then you will need to configure it.

  • Runtime Workbench Proxy Runtime Configuration

    Hi
I'm trying to setup the RWB proxy runtime configuration. However our ERP system shows up as an ALE-Logical system and not a Business System in the Configuration tab of the RWB and doesnt appear at all in the Component Monitoring tab so we cant monitor messages from it through the RWB.
We've tried deleting the business and technical system and re-registering them with RZ70 as well doing a CPA Cache refresh. But that hasnt resolved the issue.
I have compared this system to another system in the SLD which does show up as a Business System and can be monitored through Component Monitoring. They seem to be exactly the same.
Is there some kind of setting we are missing on the ERP system?
    Thanks
    Riaz

    Hi Riaz & kesava,
RWB Proxy runtime setup can be seen from RWB->Component Monitoring under Components section Domain XI->Integration Engine.
    Check the following
1)Can the SLD be reached?  - RFC destination, ping, getLCR server, read cache, BS defined
    2) Does the Integration Engine know the business system?   - Business system name = BS_100, Role = Application System
3)Are roles in SXMS_CONF_ITEMS and SLD consistent?   - Role = Application System
4)Has an Integration Server destination been defined?   Destination 'XIabcd100' to the Integration Server

    Hi,
when I send an IDoc from R3 to XI I get this error:

also, in the adaptermonitor of the runtime workbench there is an error in the integration engine.
"no rules for business-system are definied in SXMS_CONF_ITEMS"
This error refers from a another error in transaction idx. so, we have assigned the integration engine client 100, because we work with this client. So, we can start transaction idx5 but, we get the other error, as mentioned.

  • Integration Engine does not connect with SLD

    Hi all,
We have an XI 3.0 system that acts as QUA system in our track. This XI 3.0 system is connected to a central SLD installed on a PI 7.1 system that acts as our DEV system.
Everything seems to be OK in the Java part. We refresh the caches successfully and enter the SLD in DEV system.
We have a problem, though with the SXI_CACHE transaction. It shows the following message:
"Unable to refresh cache contents.Error during last attempt to refresh cache"
And the detail of the error is: "LCR_GET_OWN_BUSINESS_SYSTEM - NO_BUSINESS_SYSTEM"
We have checked in the SLD and the Business system is created.
In transaction SXMB_ADM when checking the Integration Engine connection with SLD we get the following error: "No access to system landscape at present"
In the Runtime Workbench of the system, when checking the Cache Connection, the Integration Engine part shows a warning. In the RWB also the Self Status Check of the Integration Engine gives errors:
"Are roles in SXMS_CONF_ITEMS and SLD consistent?"
We have already followed all the post installation guides, and the cache checks, and SLD checks guides.
Do you know which the soltion could be for our error??
    Thanks!

  • Proxy Runtime errors in Integration Engines at RWB

    Hi Experts,
We have configured the point to point configuration scenario in our landscape. I have two ABAP systems exchanges data using PI. I have configured both the ABAP systems as Application Systems and Corresponding Integration server as my PI system.
In RWB of PI I can see both these systems as proxy run time under Integration Engines, but are in error status.
Path to the same is Component Monitoring>Components>Integration Engines (here I can my systems as Proxy Runtime BSAB200, Proxy Runtime BSID200).
When run the test got the below error.
Can the SLD be reached?  RFC destination LCRSAPRFC does not exist
Does the Integration Engine know the business system?
Are roles in SXMS_CONF_ITEMS and SLD consistent?
Why do we need to create the RFC destination again when we select the related integration server as PI.
Can any one throw some light whey are these errors are occured.
    Thanks,
    Chinna

Can the SLD be reached? RFC destination LCRSAPRFC does not exist
Reached to SLD but not to exchange profile.
Does the Integration Engine know the business system?
    Yes.
Why do we need to create the RFC destination again when we select the related integration server as PI.
A central SLD scenario involves a central SLD, but not a central exchange profile.
The exchange profile used is always the one on the Integration Server the
application system connects to the exchange profile using the SM59 destination
    LCRSAPRFC.

  • ECC Connectivity Error from RWB (SXMB_CONF_ITEMS)

We are able to connect PI 7.1 to ECC 6.0 on our QA server successfully however when we attempt to connect to the ECC 6.0 on Prod we get the following errors from the RWB
    Errors:
Are roles in SXMS_CONF_ITEMS and SLD Consistant? RED
Has an integration server destination been defined ? RED
    Function SXMB_GET_IS_ENDPOINT failed (return code = 1)
    Resolutions Attempeted:
    1) In PI 7.1 We have created TS and BS for the production ECC 6. We get the above error in RWB.
Result: Works in QA. Green Lights in RWB when we point it to QA ECC system (create TS and BS for the QA ECC 6 system).
    2) We checked the corresponding role for the business system as Intgration Server in SXMB_ADM and SLD Pipeline URL in Integration_server_xxx BS.
We cleared cache and rebooted system twice. We have the same settings in Prod however for some reason its not applying successfully.
    3) We have the appropriate roles and profiles set for PIRWBUSER on the ECC side and PI side.
Could anyone please give me some clues to fix. Thank you for your time in advance.

    Thanks.
    We just fixed this.
We set the Role of Business system as Application System in SXMB_ADM in Production ECC system to fix.

  • Publish Idocs issue

    Hi,
I'm trying to publish idocs from SAP HR to XI, but I can only see the Idocs in HR with status 3(Data passed to port OK)and not in XI environment.
    I already confirmed:
    at SAP HR,
    - RFC destinations(SM59),
    - Transactional port(WE21),
    - Partner agreement(WE20),
    - Logical System for above Partner agreement(BD54),
    - EDIDC header recipient port & LS name is OK(WE19).
    at SAP XI,
    - RFC destinations(SM59),
    - Transactional port(WE21),
    - technical and business system for sender SAP system(System Landscape Directory),
Do you guys know what could be missing? or what I should check?
    Thanks in advance,
    Luí

    Hi,
At WE19, when we do a standard outbound processing, it retrieves the following warning:
"IDoc 0000000000200079 was saved but cannot or should not be sent"
I already confirmed that transactional ports and partners are OK. At SM58 in both machines, don't have records.
At Runtime Workbench, I find out, that Result of Self-Test retrieves the following messages:
    - Can the SLD be reached?
"RFC destination LCRSAPRFC does not exist"
    - Does the Integration Engine know the business system?
      "Function LCR_GET_OWN_BUSINESS_SYSTEM failed (return code = 1)"
    - Are roles in SXMS_CONF_ITEMS and SLD consistent?
"No role for business system defined in SXMS_CONF_ITEMS"
Do you guys know what means the above warnings/errors? Could be missing some environment configuration?
    Thank you

    Hi,
This basically means that your back end system where you generate your proxy, was NOT registered in SLD properly.
    Proceed as follows in SLD:
    1. If your system has not been registered as a technical system, you will have to register it using transaction RZ70 (Prior to that, you also need to make sure the RFC destination SLD_UC has been properly configured to point to your SLD program registered in PI gateway )
    2. Create your business system referring to the technical system above, pointing to the client where you want to generate your proxy.
    Hope it helps,
