Sybase Control Center Does not launch

Hi All,
Why Sybase Control Center on my PC does not launch (Internet Explore cannot display the webpage) ?
I checked at my service, Sybase Unified Agent already started.
Please help me ...

Typically it is because you have not set JRE_HOME or JAVA_HOME. Surce where the jave.exe or the jre.exe exists and add this to the environment.
Also we you are having these types of issues.......the best way to debug this is to open up a DOS window and run the "D:\Sybase\Shared\Sybase Central 6.0.0\win64\scjview.exe" executable from that directory. This way you can see the eeror being pushed out instead of having it flash to the screen.

Hi i had same issue .the "genius" will tell you ita hardware issue. Download a free app called Awsome Camera. Go into the app and then close it now switch to your iphone 5 camera and it should have reactivated somehow. dont ask me how it works as i havnt a clue just found solution on web. Apple told me i had a hardware issue andneeded to spend £200.00

TMS conference control center does not populate Conductor Conferences

Hello,
We have just recently upgraded to conductors running 3.01 and all TPS to 4.1. TMS is running 14.5 with TMSPE on 1.3. After the upgrade to 3.01 TMS no longer sees any conferences managed by the conductors. Previously on 2.4.1 this worked without issue. All systems have been booted and had services restarted and yet we have nothing. All other conferences show, including our 8510, 8710 and regular point to point. Only conductor does not show. Anyone else have this happen?

I would rather not upgrade until TMS 14.6 is proven not to have major bugs (like 14.0 which caused a lot of havoc for me). I did no see requirements for 3.01 to be on 14.6 so this should all technically still work, at least by Cisco's documentation. In previous upgrades it took about a day for these conferences to come back so I did not think anything of it until I came back in this week and they still did not show. Since I have rebooted, restarted all services, verified that all versions are compatible and still nothing.

Notification and Control Center does not show

Hi,
Sometimes (I don't know exactly under which circumstances) on my iPhone 4 (iOS 7.0.2), Notification and Control Center won't appear with swipe gestrue.
In this situation, When iPhone is locked and a notification (like message or phone call) arrives, the screen ALWAYS shows that notification and the screen is always on, until I arraive and lock it manually !! The second one is a serious problem beacuse after some hours the battery drops dramatically.
ONLY a reboot solves this probelm.
Is there any solution to this topic rather than reboot?

Notification Center Does Not Launch

Upgraded to 10.10.3 today. Everything works as advertized, except the Notification Center. It doesn't automatically load at login.
I have to click on the icon in the Finder to get banners/alerts to load. It will not display them unless I click the icon.
Having read up some, I uninstalled VMfusion7 as there may be some sort of incompatibility. No difference.
Fixed permissions, no difference.
I can manually kick it off via terminal using as well:
launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.notificationcenterui.plist
Is there a flag to reset to have Notifications auto-start when I log in?

As I understand it, your notifications don't appear until you click the Notification Center icon in the upper right corner of the screen after updating to 10.10.3 despite some great troubleshooting you've already done. I would next boot to safe mode, then restart and test the issue again:
OS X Yosemite: Start up in safe mode
Starting up in safe mode may help you diagnose problems you’re having with your Mac.
Important: To print these instructions, click the Share button in the Help window, then choose Print.
Choose Apple menu > Shut Down.
After your Mac shuts down, wait 10 seconds, then press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold down the Shift key.
You should press the Shift key as soon as possible after you hear the startup tone, but not before.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple logo and progress indicator.
To leave safe mode, restart your Mac again, but don’t hold down any keys during startup.

Sybase Control Center 3.2.7 -Automatic schedule Backups/Logs

Hello Experts,
I have 2 queries which need to be discussed with you people.
1.I am currently working with Sybase database 15.7.0.122 and with Windows environment .It has also been released a sap note by sap that we sybase central has vanished and the customer's are forced to move to Sybase Control Center.Is there any way or plug ins that we can install and use sybase central.
2.I have downloaded and configured the Sybase Control center 3.2.7 which came with Sybase database 15.7.0.122 software and able to launch ,configure the user database as well as took the backup successfully and it seem's the web gui interface looks good but sometimes clock revolves which is some time annoying.
My question and requirement is to schedule the automatic backups with retention through scripts which I was able to do in Sybase central and Dbacockpit but here don't find any option.However , I see that in Sybase 16.0 business suite there is TASK MANAGEMENT option in Sybase control center where you have option to schedule the jobs.May be I am not able to find in the current version .Appreciate your guidance in fixing it.

For 2nd Query,
It looks be possible system resource issue due to which you see the clock symbol.
Once the sybase central is restored back you may schedule job using the same.

Problem with registering device in Sybase Control Center with SUP 2.2 SP04

I have Sybase Unwired Platform SP04, and I am trying to register my Android device in Sybase Control Center. I registered application connection with HWC as a template. I also installed 2 Sybase apps from Google Play Store on my Android device - Sybase Hybrid Web Container and Sybase Mobile Workflow 2.1. When I tried connecting to Sybase Control Center from my Android device using Sybase Mobile Workflow 2.1, there were no log updates at all. I entered IP address of my computer where I installed SUP as server name. It seemed like Sybase Mobile Workflow 2.1 did not work at all on my Android device. However, there are some log messages when I try to connect to SCC through Sybase Hybrid Web Container - "Engine Startup", "Queued Settings Request", "Communication Error".
I was able to successfully register my Android Emulator on SCC using Hybrid Web Container app and test my hybrid web app. What could be the reason for not being able to register a real device on SCC? Is this the wrong Sybase app used on the device? Or some kind of network issue? Both my android device and my computer are connected to the same home WiFi network and have 192.168.x.y IP addresses, which are local IP addresses accordng to my knowledge.
I was told that if I am unable to open SCC on the device by typing https://<IP_address>:8283/scc in a browser, then my device won't be able to access SCC. And, in fact, my Android device cannot open SCC in its browser, while my Android emulator can.
I have tried using USB or WiFi tethering to so that my laptop actually uses exactly the same Internet connection as my Android phone, but this didn't help either. If someone has any idea on how to fix this, your help will be appreciated!

When I open that page on my device's browser, it says that my browser couldn't connect to it.
I don't think my Firewall blocks port 5001, because I have never set it to do it, and I don't see any outbound or inbound rules on my Windows Firewall to block port 5001. I don't think that my WiFi network would block port 5001, but I can't be sure of it. However, I was told that if I create a portable WiFi hotspot and connect my computer with SUP on it to the hotspot, then my computer and Android device would be on the same network even without Internet Connection, and I would be able to connect to SCC on my device, However, even in this case it did not work.

New to the System Center world. We are using a fresh install of Server 2012 R2 and System Center R2 with everything working until Server 2012 R2 Update 1 was installed. Now we are getting the following:

Any thoughts on how to fix this? Seen a few references to a "site reset" for SCCM 2007 but wanted to make sure there wasn't anything else to try before heading down that road with 2012R2.

A site reset can also be done in CM12 so it's worth a try.

Clicking on program icon does not launch program

I just purchased my new 21.5" iMac and when clicking on an existing app, the app does not launch. I am using the new Magic Mouse; also, when hitting enter key on highlighted app it still does not launch. Eben if I hav e Pages launched and an open doc as an icon, clicking on the icon does not open it.
It worked very well under my MPB 17" using SL 10.6.2! What gives? Do I have to return this machine already?

OK. here goes: Most of the Apple Apps, either on the dock, in the Finder (in list view or any other view), or on the Desktop do NOT respond to double-clicks to get them going!
For example, I live on Preview, yet when I double-click a PDF file, nothing happens; Preview does not load and the document does not open. I can start the document by either holding down the Control key and Open with.....
I have owned six Apple computers during the past 8 years and have never come across such weird behavior! I am really not to bugged by this as this is with a brand new iMac 21" but it would be a shame to have to return this because of this odd behavior.
I have a template of Pages on my Destiop, yet I double-click on it nothing happens; Pages does not load nor does the document open.
Other Apps do start up normally.
I powered the machine down; I ran and fixed Permissions. I do not know what else to do. I know it cannot be the MM as it works flawlessly on everything else.

Error registering device in Sybase Control Center

Hi,
I am using SUP 2.0 to develop applications.
I am not able to register ( create) devices in Sybase Control Center.
When i click on Devices tab it shows an error "An internal Error occured. Please check log for details."
On checking the log under the Servers tab in Sybase Control Center it shows a msg as follows:
ERROR Other Thread-727 [javax.xml.messaging.saaj.client.p2p]SAAJ0009: Message send failed.
Please let me know how to solve the issue.

Notification center does not play sound when receiving notifications.

Why my new ipad Notification center does not play sound when receiving notifications.

Settings>Notifications .... Did you set up the various apps to receive notifications?
Do have system sounds muted?
If you lose sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds may have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.

Profit Center does NOT exist on 08/24/2010 (Message KM700)

I am using resource related billing.
I am adding a Contract Line Item to an existing contract.
In this Contract Line Item I am entering a wbs element for whichc the associated profit center has an effective date
of 01/01/2011.
The Contract Header has a document date of 08/24/2010
After entering the wbs element in the new contract line and hitting enter I receive the below warning message:
Profit center ###/##### does not exist for 08/24/2010
Message no. KM700
###/##### = Controlling Area/Profit Center
Is there a setting that can be switched off so that the warning is NOT displayed ?

If it is warning message, the user can leave as it is. If it is error then in t.code KE52, you can change the validity period by clicking the change validity period button. Change here validity period from date 08/24/2010, thereby you can avoid this message.
Does this answer your question? If not why you want to remove the warning message? It looks it is standard message, used by more than one program.

K8T Neo - Core Center does not support your motherboard!

I installed the latest version of Core Center utility on Windows XP x64. But if I attempt to run it "Core Center does not support your motherboard!" is displayed. The download website clearly states that Windows XP x64 is supported. The message does not mention Windows XP x64 but the problem appears to have something to do with it because there is no problem on Windows XP x86.
Any suggestion is appreciated.

go to "Control", "Automatic Profile" and select the right senzor to be used.

LMS 4 - Topology Services does not launch

Hi,
I've just installed a LMS 4.0 and try to open the Topology Services Section to view the network, but when I click at Topology Services does not launch. I attached a picture with the message:
Steps that I've already tried (some of then base ond this forum)
- Launch Ciscoworks by name
- Use JAVA version 1.6.0_24
- Use Internet Explorer 7.0
- Use Firefox 3.6
- Restart the browser many times
- Restart the Server many times
I hope that somebody alredy seen this messagem and give a suggestion.

I would like to thanks for all of you that reply my message and try to help it, but I found the solution and explanation for my problem on this forum. The problem is related with the user that is trying to open the Topology Services, when you click on it, JAVA starts a routine where is necessary to record 3 files (.jar) at an specific directory into Java folder, and by default, the windows user for any PC has USERS privileges, so it's not possible to record any data into Java folder, so to solve the problem, is necessary to :
Go to c:\Program Files\Java and add the USERS group permission FULL CONTROL to this folder, restart the browser and after that you will be able to open the Topology Services.
