Sycning pages from MacBookPro to Ipad
Purchased this 'app' and paid for it yesterday. It shows up in my Itunes on my Mac.
It does not sync. No icon appears anywhere on my Ipad. My Mac is system 10.6.6

Connect your iPad to your Mac. Launch iTunes. Make sure the iPad is recognized under Devices on he left side of the iTunes window.
Select the Apps tab. Select the *Sync Apps* box and make sure Pages is listed just below that.
Now click the Sync button buttom right side of your iTunes window.
If that didn't help, restart your iPad.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPad. To turn iPad back on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears.
Try syncing again.

Thank you, but after an hour with apple support on the phone we came to the conclusion that the documents are lost... So the lesson is, don't trust icloud as a back up solution! A month worth of work down the drain...

How to get pages from desktop to iPad using icloud
Can someone help me please?! I am not that great with all of this but have Pages on desktop (version 10.7.4) and have an iPad2, i am trying to get the documents from desktop onto iPad with no luck. I have brought the app for the iPad and have icloud which is working and as far as I am aware everthing is where it needs to be, but how do the documents get onto the iPad??!! Do I have do something, if so what or should it just all appear? Also can you edit a document on the iPad or make a new document, save it and then it will appear on the desktop?

thank you.Aside from using the suggestions (both) above also make sure that you go to Settings>iCloud>Documents and data>on.
If the documents do not appear on the iPad after you have checked the settings, try creating a dummy document on the iPad. It can be anything at all. Quit Pages completely and then launch the app again.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Launch Pages again.
If you were running Mountain Lion you would not need to drag the files into the browser - if you had iCloud all configured correctly on the Mac.
Once iCloud is set up and working as it should, you can simply launch Pages on the iPad, the edited files will appear and you can open and work on them there as needed. when you finish working on the document, the edited file will upload to iCloud again and be accessible in the browser like laxman described.

Scanning multiple pages from 5520 to iPad.
I can scan single pages on 5520 to iPad using AiO Remote app but cannot figure out how to get them into one file. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

After touch "No, I'm done" you can save all 4 xxx_1, xxx_2, xxx_3 and xxx_4 (xxx normally date and time) files on ONE file by touching pdf at the top right. You can give it a name and it will have all 4 pages.

How do i sync pages from iMac to iPad. I am new to mac and this is confusing
how do I sync between IMAC and IPAD. I just downloaded pages into my IMAC and I can not figure out how to download it onto my ipad2. I do not want to download the product again for $10. i was told that this is handled in itunes but i can not figure it out
You got some bad information if you think that you do not have to buy Pages for the iPad and you think that it will work without it.
You have to purchase Pages for the iPad as well as for the Mac. You cannot install any computer program on an iPad - Mac or Windows applications will not work on the iPad. You will have to download and install the iPad Pages app or you cant sync files from the Mac to the iPad and the other way around. -

Blank page from Webi on iPad 6.0.6
Hi everyone,
Intro:
We have a customer system: SAP BO 4.1 sp3 with SAPBI Mobile 5,1.8
They run some webis through iPad until last week, when they updated it to SAPBI Mobile 6.0.6
Symptoms:
When open a Webi on iPad (6.0.6) only show the title of first page blank. It can be refreshed but it doesn't show anything.
Testing:
- We check with an iPad on 5.1.8 version and still works ok.
- We check on iPhone (6.0.6) and works fine (strange isn't it?)
- We create a blank webi document with 3 reports. No connections, no objects, no nothing.... and fails on iPad 6.0.6
- We open a webi with single report page and works fine.
Help (please):

This could be a potential "regression" in the app.
Or the fact that the 1st report does not contain anything might cause this.
Try to add an empty Table in the 1st page (Report Tab)
If still an issue please log a support incident (OSS) so that we can investigate further.

If you're trying to sign in on icloud.com you can only do that froma a computer.

For my Mac Pro, after I downloaded the new Mavericks OS, I downloaded the new pages. However, I still can't open iCloud pages from iPad. Says that I need a new version of Pages on my Mac.
Please help.It appears that you are launching the old version, probably using an icon in your Dock. That icon is an alias & is not updated. You will need to go to your Applications folder & find the new Pages 5 icon & double-click it. Once it is launched, you can right-click on the icon & choose Options > keep in Dock from the contextual menu.

I have downloaded the latest pages update on my iPad, but my iMac still has Pages version 4.3, and I cannot find out how to update it on my desktop. When I try to send something from my iPad pages via email to be opened on my desktop in Pages, it won't open in Pages. I get a message that it can't be opened because the version is too old. I sent the document as a PDF and it worked. But I want to be able to use Pages back and forth. HOw do I update the Pages version on my desktop iMac?
The file format used by the iOS versions of the iWork apps can only be read by the new iWork apps on your Mac - i.e. Keynote 6, Pages 5 & Numbers 3. Those versions for the Mac require Mavericks, OS X 10.9. The "too old" error on a Mac comes if you are trying to open an iWork '08 or earlier file in the newest apps. If you do have the newest apps you can open the files from your iPad.
If you can't or don't want to upgrade to Mavericks & the newest iWork apps your best option would be to export/share the files from the iPad to a type an older version of iWork can read such as Word, text, Excel, etc.
Or contact AppleCare. They made this mess, let them fix it. -

I have uploaded and installed ICLOUD to all three of my devices MAC, i pad nd Iphone.
From Ipad to Iphone i am able to retrieve PAGES documents as i write them. BUT now that i am back home i see that none of the new documents i am working on which are stored on my desktop are showing up in my PAGES file on my Ipad or Phone.
How do i save to icloud from mac, how come i can't retrieve docs from IPAD to MAC either?
should i back up my mac ICLOUD FIRST? and if so, Where do i back it up from?
going mad as i edit on one during the day and the other in the evening , and would like them to sync automatically
please can you help

i have in the meantim had to open www.icloud. then from there import the file that i am working on and then check on ipad if it uploaded/ yes it did.
but what a waste of time as it doesn not save any changes done automatically back in the cloud....
i am now downloading the new LION and hope that it will fix the problem
i cant find any other way. I was lead to believe that you wrote, it saved automatically, on to the cloud, you then opened anohter device in anotother country even, and the new file was there, waiting, in its latest version.......
and the same magic was supposed to happen in reverse.

if i have to open a browser, go to www.icloud....why on earth did they not just leave us an icon to drop it in in that case?

Safari on iPad Air 2 flashes random pages from history
iPad Air 2 64GB WiFi running 8.1.3
When I open Safari, a random page from my history (usually from days or weeks ago) flashes on the screen for 1/2 second and then shows the current webpage.
I've cleared History and Website Data in Settings>Safari. Still does it. Safari even flashes pages that should have been cleared In that process!
I then restored the iPad as a new device through iTunes. Still does it.
I've had the iPad since November. It never did this until January. Hopefully the next iOS update will take care of it. Very annoying.Forgot to mention- this happens upon launching Safrari from either a "quit" state or "background" state.

Pages crashes when opening any document on iPad 3 Latest version. I tried everything I could find on the net and finally deleted Pages from my device and reinstalled it. Still when I try to create a new document or open a document it just crashes out.
Try this:
Make sure IOS is updated to latest version
Reboot device by pressing both the home button and sleep/wake (power) buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings -

What happens when you try to open the links?
Can you post an example of a link that doesn't work?
Is there any particular source for the mail with the (bad) links, or is mail from all sources failing?
If you happen to know it, what's the format of the mail message? (Maybe the message is an image?)
Do the embedded links work as expected from an OS X system running Mail.app, or some system and some other other mail client?
To view the link in iOS: if you press on and hold your finger on an embedded link in most contexts, iOS will show a pop-up with the link contents, and will offer to copy it. You can use that to acquire and post the link. If pressing and holding on the link doesn't offer the pop-up, the format of the link itself may not be valid, or it might not really be a link.
