Hi,
when i try to exceute the time values of 00:00:00 after excetuting in the analyzer it s displaying in the feild coloumn as # . How to over come this?

If the Info-Object is defined as Characteristic then the initial value will be displayed as #. Instead create the Info-Object as type Keyfigure and choose type=TIME and data-type=DEC ...
This treats 00:00:00 as required.

This page uses the Symbol font to display the triangles.

How to display the current time in a UIX page

Hi All,
another UIX question....
A requirement of a customer is to display to current data and time in every page.
It should be done in a <header>. So i'm writing a new (template based) renderer for that element. How can i display the current time and date on it?

Hi Robert -
When you say you are writing a template-based Renderer, do you mean that you are creating a custom look and feel and replacing the header Renderer? If so, I'd recommend instead simply creating your own template (not template-based Renderer), and reference your template directly from your uiXML pages where you want to insert the timestamp.
You'll probably want to write a method data provider which calls System.currentTime(), convert the result to a date, and then use Java's date formatting capabilities (see java.text.format.DateFormat) to produce a user presentable String that you can return from your data provider.

Camera icon displays instead of Trash-Can upon selecting a message in the conversation and clicking on 'Copy/Speak/More...'
After restart, now it shows Trash-Can again.

Many were saying that you just needed to turn your phone off and turn it back on after upgrading to ios8.1, so that you could then delete single messages.
It worked when I did it the first time, but today while sending text messages the trash can disappeared while I was trying to delete some messages.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In order to use my mail, I now have to use the browser instead of my mail application because of the new "upgrade". Unfortunately, my online mailbox keeps blacking out saying that my messages more than a week old cannot be displayed at this time. Any reason as to why? I cannot upgrade to Lion because I use software with my clients that is no longer supported in Lion.

Currency Symbol (�) not displaying

I'm using PostgreSQL as my DB and the pg73jdbc3.jar driver to connect to my DB. I'm trying to display the pound sterling currency symbol (�) in my JTable but it will not display, it puts in a square instead. However, it will display the U.S. dollar symbol ($). The locale settings on the PostgreSQL server are set to en_GB.
What do I need to do to get the � symbol to display in my JTable.

This has to do with JDBC and databases because I am querying a postgresql database (version 7.3.2) and the .getString() value from the resultset is giving me a square symbol rather than the pound sterling symbol.
I've tried modifying the font, the locale settings, and the character set used by the JDBC driver but neither of these have worked.
Anyone got any suggestions?

Math symbols not displaying in browser

I'm attempting to study for CLEP exams on Instacert's website and have encountered a problem with the math symbols not displaying correctly. I did the recommendations by the webmaster and tried Google Chrome, then Safari instead of Mozilla's Firefox, and I have downloaded the webmaster's suggested window's font (symbol.ttf), to no avail. He's not familiar with Apple at all, so he's no further help.
I have attached a screenshot of one of the pages not displaying the symbols correctly. As you can see, the math union and intersection symbols look foreign and some of the other math symbols are not correct in other web pages:

My biggest problem in preview 4.0 is it freezes while trying to view large images across four apple LCD's. Sometimes I see a gray screen.

Is there a way to display the actual time footage was shot?

I have two cameras I used for footage and they are not continuous so I need to find an easy way to quickly get the footage close to where they need to align. It would be great if there was a way to display that actual time of day in hours/minutes/seconds based on the cameras clock instead of just timecode, which doesn't give my much of a reference of the camera's time. Does anyone know of a way to display camera time?

There is a somewhat tedious workaround that will help (perhaps, since I don't know what your footage is).
Load in all the clips you plan to use in your edit. Select them one at a time and click File\Timecode and type in your "time of day" clock timecode and Set at Beginning. Click OK.
This will then change the Media Start from 00:00:00:00 for every clip to whatever you type in.
If anyone finds, or knows of, a way to do this automatically, I'd be very interested to hear about it!

How can I display the elapsed time of the course using Advanced Actions in Captivate?

I have a Captivate course which is approximately 35 minutes in length. On each slide I would like to display to the user, the current elapsed time.
EXAMPLE:
25/35 minutes complete
The 35 would remain static, so I have been working with the elapsed time system variable in CP: elapsed:$$cpInfoElapsedTimeMS$$
I can't seem to get the variable to properly display the elapsed time in minutes, rather than miliseconds. Attached is a screen shot of my advanced action.
Can anyone provide guidence regarding how I should structure this differntly?

If you are on CP7, you'll have this widget also as an interaction, which means it is compatible with HTML5 output. Amd there is also an hourglass interaction, with similar functionality but... did not blog about that one

How do I get the euro symbol € to display in Flash from
PHP file created in DW ?. It does not display it properly. I have
simplified the PHP code I have is:

Notice, -internal interface-. What you have is a simple USB MIDI Interface. Most MIDI interfaces are USB.
My point is (was), MIDI OUT of the Korg goes to the connector marked MIDI IN on the Alesis, those new to MIDI often get this wrong.

Slider for Display and Control Time of Video

Hey Community,
I run a Video with the IMAQ/ AVI components. Therefor i want to have a timeband as there is one in a normal video player. The Time runs and if I click on the band the video should jump to this moment of the video. Is there a possibility to manage that or do i have to seperate the display of the time and an extra Control to jump to the point of interest?
In the file there is a little example what i mean. (LabView 2010)

Hi Philipp,
you could do that by modifying the "Read AVI File Example.vi" (see Screenshot). I also attached the VI saved with "For previous version", I hope that works for you too.
This example uses the "IMAQ AVI2 Read Frame VI" function where you can specify the desired frame. So you only have a control that can modifies the current frame, which is normally incremented every loop iteration.

Displaying Date and Time in portal desktop

Hi
I have been looking around for any info or guideline to display the <b>date and time</b> in the portal desktop. I could not find anything very helpfull. In visual admin you can swap lastname and firtsname and vice versa. Thou there is nothing about displaying date and time.
Is it possible to display it and how?

Where u need the time to be displayed.. If it has to be displayed in Masterhead you can programatically display it...
import the par file for Masterhead, change it and replace it..
Its a simple JSP page so that u can change it easliy..

ICO file not displaying at run time?

Hello Experts,
I an using fusion 11.1.2.1 32 bit. I have Copied the Icons as well as GIF files in C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_FRHome1\forms\java folder.
At button property i set Iconic to yes
and file = addrow
Icon not display at run time.
but when i set file = abc.GIF
image is displaying at run time.
My doubt is that ICO file not displaying at run time while GIF file are displaying.
Do i need to change configuration ?

First Try this steps
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
Double-click My Computer, and then click Options on the View menu.
Verify that the Icon file type appears on the File Types tab. If the Icon file type does not appear in the Registered File Types box, skip to step 10.
Click Icon in the Registered File Types box, and then click Edit.
Verify that the following settings exist, and then click OK:
The Description Of Type box contains Icon.
If there is a Confirm Open After Download check box, it should be selected.
If the settings do not appear exactly as listed in step 4, click Remove, click Yes, and then click OK. If the settings do appear as listed in step 4, skip to step 10.
Click New Type.
In the Description Of Type box, type Icon.
In the Associated Extension box, type ICO.
Click OK, and then click Close.
Use Registry Editor to view theHKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.icokey, and then verify that the default string contains the following value:icofileIf the .ico key does not exist, create it, and then insert the value listed above. If any other values exist in the .ico key, delete them.
Use Registry Editor to view theHKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\icofilekey, and then verify that the default string contains the following value:iconIf the icofile key does not exist, create it, and then insert the value listed above. If any other values exist, delete them.
