Symbol remove

Hello, does anyone know a way to get the
"voice message" icon off the main screen of
a Nokia X2 01? I've checked my messages
repeatedly and there's none there, but the
icon remains on the screen.. It's a symbol
like an old tape reel. Looks like this: O_O
Any ideas?? I've also checked written
messags, inbox, etc. and all are empty.. And mainly i cant access my headphones also because of that symbol headphones r also not connecting plz inform

Though you've checked yourself, please confirm with the operator about the voice mail. If even the operator says there is no voice mail then you can do following:
1. *#7780# on the main screen. It will restore the settings only.
2. *#7370# on the main screen. It will delete all the personal data along with settings & lock memory card. So do take a back up of all the data. The memory card lock code will be the same that you've set.
3. Reinstall/update the firmware. It will also delete the data, settings & lock the card.
NOTE:- Memory card lock code will be required if you've set it.

Creating symbol removes some layers

I am having some layers (without content) removed that have sublayers with content collected into them when creating symbols from a set of layers. Why does this occur and what is the exact expected behavior?
I am presuming layers without content on them directly are stripped? Has this been changed in CS6?

What Monika means is that you cannot have a layer without content if that layer has sublayers. Show a screen capture of the Layers panel with all the layers open of the original and what happens after you make the symbol.

How to know what level of optimization to use / which symbols to remove

I probably should have asked this question along time ago, but how do you know what level of optimization to use and what symbols you can safely remove when compiling

Different authorisations in different reports?

I'd like to ask: how can I assign different authorisations for the same user for different reports?
Example:
I have a report of sales by customer, additionally groupped by Key Account Manager (KAM)
KAM
....\_____ Customer
and another one, where data is presented for Customers, groupped by Consultants (CON):
CON
....\_____ Customer
Both reports are based on the same multiprovider.
Moreover, both KAM and CON are IObjects which have Customer as a reference char. I'd like to present reports to Key Account Managers and Consultants, showing their sales to respective Customers. But only theirs, not other KAMs' or CONs' sales.
The point is - one person can be a KAM for one sale, and a CON for another one (although, those are two separate IObjects, they share master data with Customer).
I have therefore made an authorisation for one user, giving him rights to view 'his' KAM, and ":" CON. After that, I have used this authorisation in a role, and assigned it to the user. This way, the report No. 1 provides correct data - only sales where KAM is the chosen user, regardless of values of CON (the IObject itself is not even present in the query, therefore the ":" has been used).
How can I arrange the authorisations, so that this user can open the second report, presenting him sales to customers for which he was assigned as a CON?
To put it shortly:
How can I give user 001 rights to view all objects AA and only one value of object BB in report ABC1
but give him rights to view only one value of object AA and all values of object BB in report ABC2?

OK! try this following work around:
Make it language dependent again . and unmap in transfer rules ( cross symbol ).
remove the info object in right panel too. and write the routine as follows.
IF TRAN_STRUCTURE-sprache = ' '. ( write code of japanese langauge )
And tran_structure-sprache = ' ' ( write code for chinese langauge )
RESULT = 'e'.
else.
RESULT = TRAN_STRUCTURE-sprache.
endif.
activate the transfer rules and try uploading data again!

Intersection validation report currency

Does anyone know how to /where to change the currency symbol that appears on the intersection validatuion report? Currently showing the pound symbol. I want to change it to show no symbol?

Hello,
The Bitish Pound sign was not 'written' into the software. It is based on the currency/browser settings.
It has been suggested to have all currency symbols removed from the report during the validate fish.
I would contact support to see where the progress of this is.

Query header not to display

I am using BW 3.1 version
Is that possible to not display Report header in WORKBOOK,
Do we have any setting to take off header level
i mean to say when we execute Report it displays the filters and Characteristics and Key figures whet ever we use in our report that i don't want to display directly i want display only RESULT

Open your query in analyzer-> go to design mode and you will be able to see some text boxes [ image with T symbol] remove those text boxes and save it and exit from design mode.

Downloaded Dashboard Widgets won't run, Help.

Can't figure this one out. Widgets that come with Leopard run fine. Any I download won't launch. I have 4 user accounts, all have same problem. I created a new user account and the downloaded widgets works fine.
So, not sure what happened but all users created prior to a certain point don't work, any new users now seem fine. Anyone else seen this? Any ideas on how to resolve?

Most of the widgets in Dashboard weren't working for me. So far as I am aware, this problem started when I tried to add new third-party widgets (downloaded through Apple-Downloads) after upgrading from Tiger to Leopard.
This is what got things working again -- and was much easier than an archive and install:
1. I took a screen shot (command-shift-3) with dashboard open to make a record of widget placement.
2. I disabled dashboard with DashboardSwitch (http://braintrigger.com/software/DashboardSwitch).
     (It might be that a restart would have done the same thing -- but for me this was easier.)
3. I removed all plists with the word "dashboard" or "widget" in its name from User/Library/Preferences, and left them in a folder on my desktop.
4. I enabled Dashboard with DashboardSwitch. (I believe it's the case that if you use this program to disable Dashboard, you cannot start Dashboard though the Dock until it's been enabled again with DashboardSwitch.)
     (For those who simply restarted in step 2, I'm guessing all you'd have to do at this stage is to open Dashboard normally.)
5. With the old preferences removed, Dashboard loaded with only the default widgets open. I clicked the plus symbol, removed those I didn't want to keep, and began adding back widgets, starting with ones originally supplied by Apple, and waiting after each one to be sure it was working. If something didn't work, I removed it and went on.
6. When I was done, only two widgets still wouldn't work.  It turned out both were only designed for Tiger, specifically, and not for Leopard. One I updated -- after which, it worked fine.  The other had no update for Leopard, so I had to replace it with something similar.
7. I reset preferences on the flip side of my widgets, then used the screen shot I took in step 1 as a guide for putting things back in place. (Yes, that's finicky -- but I liked them where I had them.)
8. After I had everything running the way I liked it, I trashed the folder with the old widget and dashboard preferences, which I had left on my desktop.
Everything's working fine now.  I hope this helps someone else.

Changing the color of a shape as it moves and scales?

I have a symbol of a shape with a gradient drawn in Illustrator that I copied-and-pasted into Flash CS5. I created a simple motion tween by making the symbol move around the stage and scale. How do I now change the color of the symbol as it is moving on stage?

the advice given so far is sound, but by adding adjust color filter or the color effect > tint, you will be changing your gradient to a solid color, not another gradient.
so for instance if your gradient is a black to red linear grandient and you want it to tween to a black to blue gradient, you have to break apart your symbol, remove the existing tween and perform a shape tween.
a shape tween can tween the gradient that fills the shape as well as the shapes position and scale.

Changing tweens/ animation in new scene

I am trying to create different scenes with the same character doing different things in different scenes.
I have created and animated a character in scene one.
I saved the character to the library and pulled it into scene 2 to do a different animation with it.
Unfortunately, when I delete the tweens of the character in scene 2 they also disappear in scene one.
Can anyone help how I can use the same character in different scenes and create different tweens/ animation with it? Thank you

It sounds like you are either not creating the tweens properly or you are creating the tweens within the character symbol rather than on the timeline.
A timeline tween requires having the same symbol at the start and end of the tween. If you are seeing Tweens getting created in the library as you create the animation you are not creating the tween properly.
If the tweens are within the chareacter symbol, then removing them from that symbol removes them from every instance of that symbol.

How do you remove a symbol from the stage in Edge animate?

Hello-
I'm wondering how to remove a symbol from the stage in Edge Animate so you can jump to another place in the timeline. In Flash, the symbol was only on the stage for the amount of frames you indicated. Not sure how it works here.
For example, I have 2 buttons on my first screen with some text that animates in. I want the button click to take the user to another section in the timeline or (basically another scene, like in Flash) that contains different content. If I change the visibility the buttons are still there and will ( I assume) create problems when other elements are placed on top.
Or is the only way with code. If that is the case what would that code be?

What I usually do, is, once you have everything set up in the scene you are done with. highlight it all
right click
group elements in DIV
Now all those items act as 1 group and then you give it a properties name, much like a symbol.
THEN you can refer to that scene name and move it anywhere or hide it and slide in another scene that has the content for that next scene.
basically you take all the elements that make up 1 scene, gruop it up, name it, and then in the code for the button say something like:
on click:
scenename.play(framenumber);
that will then animate that scene according to any animation you gave it, such as moving to the left, off stage. while moving scene 2 that you create into the stage.
or just have something like this hide it
sym.$("scenename").hide();
sym.$("scene2name").show();
but if you do that, make sure in your CompositionReady code you hide all scenes EXCEPT the 1st one, so the user doesnt see them all instanatly anyway.

is it possible please give me step by step procedure for how to remove the '#' Symbols in reporing layout.

To achieve this issue, we need to replace the value of #, we need to change the description while retrieving the data from tables. So we need to write some ABAP code in SE38. Go to RSA1 transaction and go to Info objects tab. Then go to context menu for cProject Key Figures as shown below. Click on the Object Overview to get the overview of all the info objects. Here you can see the field names which are used to know the table names.
In SE11, type the table name in Database Table field. Now press F4, then you will get the next screen to select one of the P/Q/S/T tables.
Now click on the button rounded in the below screen to view the data in the table.
Now click the execute button or press F8 to view the records.
Now go to Tcode: SE38. Create a source code and give some program name for that source code. To write code, you need access key. Contact your BASIS for this.
Now write the below code for that particular table in which you want to change the value # to description Blank. In the below source code, we are updating particular table, setting the field as Blank where it is null or no value. Here the field will automatically get updated to # if there is no value or null.
update /BIC/PXXXXX set /BIC/ZXXXX = 'Blank' where /BIC/ZXXXXX is null or /BIC/ZXXXX = ''.
if sy-subrc eq 0.
write 'successful'.
commit work.

write 'unsuccessful'.

OR
If this # is because of the missing master data than,
right click that IO -> maintain master
you will see first row as a blank.
whatever value you maintain in this row that will come in the report for all Not assigned # values of the master data in the report.
maintain it according to your requirement, save and activate the master data

Clock type symbol and pending on report not printing how do I remove

HP Photo smart 6510 network printer print from Lumina Windows phone working fine for over week
suddenly not printing. Checked status at e center and items are pending with a clock like symbol next to them,

What is the subject for the pending job?
The clock icon makes me think that this is a scheduled delivery app trying to print and it is stuck in pending.
The best solution for this is to cancel the pending jobs and the them perform a network reboot.
1. Disconnect the power cord from the back of your router, then power off the printer. Wait about 20 seconds.
2. Reconnect the power cord to your router, wait 30 seconds, and turn the printer back on.
After performing those steps, try to use your ePrint again and let me know if it works.
