Symbol @ smartforms

Hi all
i am displayin some values in smartforms.
but v too displayin some std symbol called " DIA value "
" Main Operation Two Ø 4.5"
like 4.5 Ø
Ø --> Dia symbol.
this symbol is not displayin in smartform .
its jus showin 4.5 ( with some roman numeral) in Smartform.
but in the PGm Value is comin...
hw to display that symbol in smartform
can u help me out....

jsut replace that symbol with # and check the print out . If it is printing then update your Adobe version.

When I Printing the Smartform Bullet symbol is converted into # but remaining synbols , . & are printing correctly.

Which device type do you use to print? Usually the # character printed means the device type codepage doesn't support this character. What is the result when you print via Windows cascading fonts device type SWINCF?

Box symbol in smartforms

hello friends,
i want to print box symbol in L/C application form. I am developing this form using smartforms. we can get box symbol in MS WORD. i am trying to cut and paste it
in smartforms. but it is paste as ? in smartforms.
please suggest me if there is any solution.

Indian Rupee Symbol in Smartform

I have got a requirement in which i need to use the recently announced Indian Rupee Symbol in my Smartform. I need to use it in the table being displayed in the Smartform, in front of the Amount in each row, i need to dispaly the symbol.

here is the steps of rupee symbol in smartform.
Step:- 1 Download Rupee Font From [http://blog.foradian.com/font-with-indian-rupee-symbol-download-and-us|http://blog.foradian.com/font-with-indian-rupee-symbol-download-and-us]
Step:- 2 Open T-CODE SE73
Step:- 3 Install True Type Font And Give Name To Font
After sussfully instalation you can use that forn in your smartstyle and u can use that symbole
NOTE:- To Insert Rupee symbole You Have To Press ` Button Near To 1 Key
Soem Times it will not display in editor or in print Priview but it will print in the hardcopy.
Later On I Will Put Step By Step Step With Screenshot .
If Anyone Have Emergency Then Replay Me i Will DO it

Print Currency as symbols in SAPSCRIPT/Smartforms

Hi all,
My customer want to print currency not as text but as symbols , for example "S" instead of "USD" .
Does somebody know how to make it?
Is there a dynamic solution ?

U should check if in your system there's the currency symbol and if it supports it.
The other problem can be in the printer, it need to know if it can understand that symbol.
U can get all symbols available in your system from table TCP01.
Here the symbol corresponds to a number has to be used in the sapscript/smartform.
For example Euro sing is 156, so in the sapscript it need to insert <156>, the dollar shoul be 36, so <036>.
Anyway you can't be sure your device can print the symbol.

Smartforms symbol not found?

Hi experts,
I am facing a problem with smartforms, hopefully anyone of you got a solution on this.
The call of my Smartforms FM results in a exception 1 --> formatting error.
Smartforms_trace says:
MSGV1: GV_PRINT-AMOUNT
symbol GV_PRINT-AMOUNT not found
trace output closed due to error
I don't know why this AMOUNT Field is not found - I drag it into my Smartform via the fieldlist?! If I exchange the AMOUNT field with a different field of the GV_PRINT structure, it works for a couple of fields, not for all. Those who don't work don't have the same datatype in common.

when I write &GV_PRINT-AMOUNT& into my textnode, it's not interpreted as variable but as text?! So my form shows the name of this Variable.

I think I got the error, but don't understand it. The GV_PRINT is a inside a loop. I loop from GT_PRINT into GV_PRINT.
If I change it to a loop from GT_PRINT into GT_PRINT, and drag the GT_PRINT-Amount field from the fieldlist, it works?!
The table has no headerline in the SAP Program...
If I debug the form and look at GV_PRINT, it shows the correct dataset and the AMOUNT field is filled correctly?!
Can anyone explain that to me?

or copy the icon from Word and try to paste the same
or type <709> in change editor

I'm using ECC6.0 SmartForm. I'd like to add this symbol '' in the text.
I've tried to copy and paste it but the script editor doesn't allow.

Problem in Printing Euro Symbol in SMARTFORM

I need to print EURO Symbol in my SMARTFORM.
I am using "ALT+0128" to get that value.
In global data, I am taking one constant, and giving the valuw using this KEY. The symbol is coming....but,
when I say save, It is giving syntax error as "The Characters are prohibited".
can you please let me know, how can I solve my problem?

Looks you have did some mistake somewhere. For me when i checked it is not giving any error. Just check whether you are getting the error for the same or for any other characters you have mentioned
I declared it as
W_CHAR1 TYPE CHAR01 'u20AC'
Recheck it once.

I came across to seen the following code in a smartform

Here what is Q represent or signify ?

In Text general attribute, there is an editor button.
If you click on that button,you can see the editor similiar to sapscript .
Click on Insert button , the menu Insert -> symbols will become active.
There you will get the list

Field symbols in SMARTFORMS

Hi all,
I have to show the Item wise amount in a Purchase order thro SMARTFORM. I don't have any problem when the purchase order has currency 'INR'. But when the Purchase order contains foreign currency, I have to show the amount upto 4 decimals. How can I show amount upto 4 decimals only when the amount is in foreign currency?I have tried to create a field-symbol with type ANY.But it's showing error.Please help.
