I am trying to sync a book from iTunes to iPad. I get error message that "book can not be copied to Ipad because you are not authorized for it on this computer"....any advise how to solve this?

If you purchased it on your computer's iTunes then have did you select it to sync to your iPad (via the iPad's Books tab on your computer's iTunes) ?. On your iPad you can also turn Settings > Store > Books 'on' so that iBooks purchases made on your computer or other iOS device are automatically downloaded to it. Is anyone else getting this error message, "Entitlements are not valid", when trying to sync .ipa file from iTunes to iPad?
The issue I'm having is getting the ipa file that was built by the 'Adobe Flash Packager for Iphone' installed into my iPad.
So, I have a swf file that works and was able to publish it into the Android Market. I then compiled and build the same flash project with the Packager for Iphone into an .ipa file. But when I try and install this .ipa file into my iPad to do my testings, i'm getting the error message.
I would like to test my ipa file in my iPad device before submitting it to the Apple Store.
Any help would be appreciated. thank you.

Developing for iphone can be amazingly complicated and frustrating. (even before you start coding). The process of having to create a Certificate, to approving the Certificate, to Assigning the deviceIDs to the certificate, to creating the AppIDs, to creating the provisioning profiles and then creating the .p12 file... is just too tedious.
I solved the problem of the "Entitlements are not valid". The AppID i had set in the iPhone Developer Portal did not match that of the AppID i had set in the Adobe Flash CS5 -> Publish Settings. (ie. com.yourdomainname.yourappname). After I re-entered my AppID and compile, i was able to sync the .ipa file into my ipad.
I wish the error message had been a little more descriptive. Could have saved me a whole day.
I hope this helps others. But my guess is, if you don't set the 40 character device ID correctly, or the email in the signingcertificate correctly, you'll get this same generic error message.

Problems syncing books from iTunes to iPad

I hope someone can help me. I'm having trouble syncing all my books from itunes to my ipad mini. I've checked the box to sync all books, but despite this, not all the books are syncing. I've even tried checking the "sync only selected books" and selected all the books, but still the same problem. I have 5.41 gb free on my ipad so it isn't a storage issue
I've restarted and restored my ipad, and rebooted my mac, but the problem persists and I'm now at a complete loss as to what the problem is.
I haven't downloaded OS Mavericks because of the problem people have experienced by losing the Books tab in itunes, so my books tab is still showing and all my books are in itunes and not the iBook app.
Help please

How to sync address book from mac to iPad

Hello, I bought my husband an iPad and cannot figure out how to copy our address book from Apple mail on our MAC to his iPad. Need help! Thank you.

Method 1:
Connect the iPad to the Mac.
Open iTunes (and wait until the Backup is finished).
Select the iPad in the left Sidebar (switch it on with alt-command-S).
Switch to the second Tab at the top named "info".
Check the Button Contacs.
Click "synchonize" down right.
After the Sync is done, the Adresses are on the iPad.
Method 2:
Activate the iCloud-Account in Macs System Prefs or in Address Book directly.
Activate the iCloud-Accouunt on the iPad and switch the Addresses-Slider to on.
After Some Minutes, the Adresses are copyed via the Cloud to Your iPad.

Cant sync pdf books from itunes to ipad2.

I have added 3 more pdf books in itunes but i cant get them to sync, as Ive done a couple of others, to my ipad2. I get an error message "Some items not copied because they can not be found." How can I sync these books to my ipad2?

I have had to format my PC running windows 7, and reset my ipad 1 to factory settings, i then installed latest itunes on the PC authorised the PC and re downloaded several movies via itunes previous purchases, all was well until i tried to sync the ipad to the PC, only some of the movies synced onto the ipad, otheres stalled the sync stating itunes could not copy "name of movie" to the ipad because the file could not be written. I have to pull the plug on the ipad just to get itunes to unfreeze, but it still will not sync these movies. and one help

I was having the same issue with music and movies but it had been ok before. The sync would freeze on a random file and then i had to take out the USB cable to clear it. After trying all sorts of things i saw someone mentioning about Anti virus and firewalls. I am using McAfee so i disabled it as a test. After this i could sync music and movies without issue!!!!! So in my case the firewall/anti virus was causing a problem. McAfee updates itself a lot so I am guessing something has happened in a recent update that impacted iTunes.I am not sure if this kind of thing is also causing your problem but it sounds very familiar.

You can. Why do you think you cannot?
If you purchased it on your ipad, then you would have to transfer it to your computer. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases.
You can then listen to it on your computer.

If the book isn't on your computer's iTunes then you should be able to copy it from the iPad by connecting the iPad to your computer and in iTunes doing File > Transfer Purchases and you can then sync it to the iPhone (connect the iPhone to your computer, select it on the left-hand side of iTunes, and use the Books tab on the right-hand side to select and sync that book). Syncing books from itunes ibooks 3.1 but ipad 1 has ver 2.2

i sync my ipad 1 and ipad 3 with the same itunes a/c. I accidentally updated my ibooks on itunes to ver 3.0.1 and the ver 2.2 ipa has been deleted. my ipad 3 is fine with ver 3.0.1 but my ipad 1 is still using ver 2.2 and i am not keen to update it to the 3.0.1 (obviously lots of problems for ipad 1). how do i sync my ebooks to the ipad 1 using itunes without updating the app.
if i back up ipad 1 on itunes will the back up have ver 2.2 on it or will it backup and at the same time update all the apps.
