Sync all apps, only some apps get sent to iphone

Hey guys, I have had this problem since 2.0 and now even with 2.0.1. Basically I have like 20 apps backed up on itunes from syncing my iphone with itunes. I was having some app crashing problems so I completely restored the phone.
Upon restoring it I was missing tons of my apps on my phone, yet they all showed up in itunes. If I try and sync my apps to the phone it shows its doing it but they just do not show up on there.
I am not sure if this has anything to do with it at all but my fiance and I are both using the same apple id.

Use iTunes to unistal all the apps. After the sync and backup are complete unplug the phone. Look for any remaining apps. These apps have corrupt data, and are what is causing your problems. Hold an icon until all icons jiggle. Tap the little x's to delete the remaining apps. Then press the home button. You might notice the little spinning circle thing next to your network symbol. Wait for it to go away. Then hold the sleep/wake button and hold the home button down at the same time to perform a hard reset. You may once again notice the spinning circle. That is the phone clearing out the straightening it's self out, after the deletion of the corrupt data. After it finishes depress the wake button. You should also have shut down iTunes and restarted it. Plug the phone up and begin putting the apps back on a few at a time. Be sure to eject, unplug the phone perform the hard reset after each sync/backup. This should get your apps running better. The whole phone actually. If you still have issues with an app not syncing. Delete them from itunes and redownload them.

My IPhoto library will not sync all my photo's and videos to my IPhone 4. It comes up well short every time. After syncing, I get a message, "example 1171 photo's could not be synced, please see Itunes for help". I have lots of space/gb on my Iphone, so I'm confused. I've done a factory reset and done all the usual stuff, but to no avail. My Iphone is a 32gb IPhone 4, my IMAC is OS10.6.8 and my IPhoto is IPhoto 08. I appologise in advance if i'm posting in the wrong place, so please no nasty trolls. I just need good, honest, kindly advice and a solution to this. I use my IPhone as a further external backup for my photo's

Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for the iPod Photo Cache.
Trash it. Start iPhoto and try sync again.

Migrating only some apps to new computer

New MacBook Air (10.8.4) and want to migrate only some of my programs from old MacBook (10.6.8). Haven't tried it yet, but in looking at Migration Assistant, I only see an option to tick of for all applications.
I'll be doing it through a cloned external drive.
Is MA the best way to do it? Is there a way to only move a few applications? How do I be certain that I get everything that goes with a program. (Thinking particularly about Lightroom and Photoshop CS6.)

As for your apps: Depending on what they are, you might want to check to make sure they are compatible with Mountain Lion:

As for accounts: since there is a user account set up initially, using MA will generate a second (equal) one. It will create somewhat of a mess as you will need to delete whatever you don't want manually and/or move over from one to the other.
Additional thought:
since you bought it used - did it come with Mountain Lion originally?
Just in case it did not, did the seller give you the original install disks? If not, you'll have to contact the seller or Apple sooner or later. If Mountain Lion is purchased at the app store, the license is not transferable and tied to the purchaser's Apple ID forever. That means you will never be able to reinstall the OS if needed. You'd need to get the install disk, wipe the drive, and reinstall the original OS; after that, go to the app store and purchase your own Mountain Lion license using your Apple ID.

Only some apps print to HP or Ikon

Okay, I am at a complete loss here and I really hope someone can help figure this out.
I am running Tiger, 10.4.10 on a G5. I just had to reinstall everything. I have a HP 5000N LaserJet and am also connected to a digital copier/printer, Ikon CCP 8050. Before the crash and ensuing reinstall everything was running fine. I have the latest drivers. I am running Quark, MS products, and all the Adobe products, as well as the Mac Mail program and Safari. I have contacted Apple (at the Genius bar), Quark, HP, and Ikon and no one can help me.
I can only print to the HP from Quark. I cannot print to the color printer from Quark.
I have the opposite problem from all of the other applications. I can print to the color printer but not to the HP (it crashes Word).
Can anyone tell me what I should try or check next? Like I said, I have the most recent drivers and all the other tech support I have received has proved useless. It seems odd to me that some programs would work and some would not.
I can supply whatever missing info you may need.

Top-level folders in each user home folder, yes. Apps, no. See #19 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions (or use the link in *User Tips* at the top of the +Time Machine+ forum), for details.
And you have to be very careful of apps. Complex ones, that come with their own installers, often do more than install the app in your /Applications folder; they put various files in assorted places. If you don't know where they all are, the app won't work properly, if at all (and you'll likely have to re-enter the purchase codes). Those need to be reinstalled from the original discs.

Microsoft does not currently have a Mac App Store version of Microsoft Office. So any apps that you find in the Mac App Store that sound like those programs are probably helper programs by third-party developers. The only way to get Office for Mac is directly from Microsoft on their website.

Can you remember installing any new apps or updates on your computer or phone around that time.

My hotmail account set up on my iPad is syncing all previous messages, some which are around 5 years old.

I have set up my hotmail account on my iPad using IMAP settings. Using this approach gives me the ability to sync all mail folders including Junk. During the setup, I am not given the choice to decide how far back do i want to go back with my previous emails.The account got set up without any issues but the end result: Mail has now synced almost 2000 messages from my inbox, some being almost 5 years old leading to extra space being used up.
How can I change this so that my iPad onlydownloads recent messages (last 5 days maybe)? Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I dont think its keyboard or BIOS issue.
Why?
Because usually an faulty keyboard does not prevent the notebook from booting up. The POST should be passed properly but the keyboard would not work.
BIOS issue?
I dont think so since the BIOS cannot be muddled up without re-flashing the EPROM module.
Therefore the issue can be related to the motherboard as well as connected parts like RAM modules.

I dont think so. Low of faulty RTC battery leads only to BIOS data loss (date, time, etc)
But the unit should still be able to power up.

Well, before replacing any parts, you could ask for cost estimation but in case of motherboard issue the fix can be very expensive.

Sync All songs and SOME Playlists?

When syncing my ipod, I'd like to sync all songs, but only some playlists (the other ipods that sync on my computer also have playlists that I do not wish to see on my ipod).
There is an option for Sync All songs and All Playlists, or Sync only checked playlists. If I select the Checked Playlists option, then I only sync the songs in the playlists and not the majority of my itunes library. Is there any way for me to Sync All Songs and Only Checked Playlists?

No, it doesn't work that way. And, even if you do Sync Selected playlists, if any of the songs in the selected playlists are in the non-selected playlists, the non-selected playlist will show up on the iPod (with only the songs from the selected playlists)which is a bit odd.
If you're using a Classic or 3rd gen, you could put all your playlists in one folder in iTunes. Those iPods recognize folders so then you could just go to that folder and ignore the other playlists.

Cannot Sync All Songs In My iTunes Library to My iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2

I have over 10,000 songs in my iTunes library--about 7,000 are songs I ripped from CDs and about 3000 are songs purchased through the iTunes store. Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
