You should not see anything labeled iCloud in Windows Explorer.

  • How to sync iPhone video back from Mac to iPhone?

I synced a number of iPhone recorded videos to my iMac and deleted them from my iPhone. I now want to put some of them back on my iPhone. I made a playlist in iPhoto, dragged the videos into it and tried to sync that playlist back to my iPhone, but neither the list or the videos in it made it back to the iPhone.
Does anyone know how to get videos back to the iPhone again?
    thanks,
    Erik

You can use the iTunes Photos setup pane to sync photos and videos (Mac only, iTunes 9 or later required) back to the Photos application on iPhone. I added my video to the album I sync to my phone.
Be sure to check "Include videos".

  • Why my videos disappear from my videoplaylist when they are in the ipod ?

in my ipod there are 120 videos + -... from my update 1.1 a lot of times my videos disappear like a phantom but they are inside of my ipod but the ipod doesn't find (either itunes)... ¿?¿? thanks 4 the help
    P IV Windows 2000 Ipod Video, 1.1.

What do you mean by (either iTunes). Are the videos in iTunes or no?
Also, connect the iPod to the computer. Then go to edit-->preferences and hit the iPod tab, then the videos tab. Change the settings to Do Not Update Videos. Click okay. Now go back and reenable the option and hit okay.

  • Address Book Application has disappeared from iMac

my son has an iMac with OSX 10.4 (Tiger). the Address Book application has literally disappeared from his computer. i suspect that i need to re-install Address Book, but cannot find where/how to do that anywhere on apple.com. any help will be greatly appreciated.

Both the Tiger and Leopard Installer discs include an Optional Installs installer. Launch this installer (found in the Optional Installs folder on the Leopard disc) and at the root level in the Tiger Installer disc. Launch the installer and click the continue buttons until you reach the Custom Install screen. Click the triangle next to Applications, tick the box next to Address Book, and click the Install button to install Address Book.

check the lower right corner of the iTunes window
if you don't see this while the homeshared library is loaded, home sharing hasn't been set up properly.

    no.
    that's expected behavior.

  • Importing video clips from iMac

    Hi all,
I've just purchased a new iPhone 4 and can't seem to be able to import video clips from iPhoto onto the phone. Is there a particular format the files need to be or do I need another app or converter?
    Thanks in advance,
    Scott

    Toad, you are incorrect...
However it is a PIA to get it to work.
In very un-Apple-like fashion, it is a several step, unintuitive process that requires another program. Luckily a free program...
    1. Convert your file with Handbrake (http://handbrake.fr/) and use the iPad profile. (P.S. My original .mov file needed to be converted to work on iPad. The built-in "Create iPad or Apple TV version" function in iTunes would not work for me. I received a "The video is already in the correct format" message. Annoying...)
    2. Put the converted file into a folder
    3. With your iPad connected to your computer, go to iTunes and select the "Photos" tab on your iPad.
    4. IN the "Sync Photos From:" drop down box choose "Select folder" and select the folder that contains your video.
    5. Check the "Include Videos" check box.
    6. Hit the "Sync" button
    7. Now the video will be available in Keynote. No desktop version required...
    P.S. I am a PC... Not a Mac.

  • ICloud sync button has disappeared from Outlook

iCloud and Outlook have been syncing fine, then the sync button disappeared from Outlook. when I open the iCloud control panel a message pops up - "Repair the iCloud Control Panel to use iCloud with Outlook" - I have done this process and few times and it still reappears.
There is also no option to 'check' the syncing of mail, calenders, reminders or notes in the iCloud control panel?

    Hi!
    Just a few questions:
    - What version of Outlook do you use?
    - What version of DIS? I've found two different versions of oracle.com (the latest afaik is 8.2.0.959)
    - Is the addin enabled?
There are also some diagnostics available in DIS. For the moment I can't remember how to enable them, but Oracle Support can provide you with this info.

  • All I want to do is sync one video file from my computer to the iPad

    Hi all-
I ripped a "test" mpeg4 video on my home computer that I want to transfer to my iPad. That's all I want to do. I "assume" that this test video has to be placed in a folder somewhere on my main computer's hard drive so that iTunes "sees it" and puts it under one of those little tabs in iTunes like "movies" or "tv shows." Where do I put my test video so that it will sync with my iPad? I see the folders that have my music library for my iPod (Documents and Settings/Owner/My Documents/My Music/iTues) so I assume there must be some place I need to place this video in order to get it to transfer from my PC to the iPad.
    Thanks,
    Steve

You need to import it into the iTunes library from within iTunes. Content moved to the iTunes library folder manually won't be recognized by iTunes.

  • Issues with iCloud synchronisation and contacts over two or more devices.  iTouch and iPad2 sync with different results from iMac.  Thoughts?

Has any one experienced issues with iCloud synchronisation and contacts over two or more devices? The primary machine is an iMac running Lion. Address Book was created from vcf file (backup of address book prior to moving to iCloud). iTouch replicates Contacts just fine and matches the Address Book on the iMac. The iPad 2 does not showing only 123 contacts where there should be 200. I have turned off iCloud on both devices thus erasing the iCloud content of both devices and staring from scratch with both devices with identical results. Even turned off iCloud on the iMac and erased the Address Book and rebuilt with the same results. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I am going nuts.....

    To follow-up with this issue:
I ended up performing a security wipe on my device. The security wipe finished, and I was about to reconnect with Exchange when I decided to visit our host's web site to see if they had any articles covering the issues I was experiencing. While they didn't have anything specific, I did find a step-by-step guide to connecting a BB10 device to Exchange... and right there at the end, it said "Do NOT enable memo sync."
I contacted support, and the rep told me that OS 10 has an issue with memo sync and it can cause all sorts of unpredictable behavior. Now, whether or not this is accurate I can say this: So far, the device is not disconnecting and reconnecting like it was before. Problem is, is this a result of not enabling memo sync, or is this a result of the security wipe?
I may have overlooked it, but I don't recall reading anything about that anywhere else. I'm tempted to try re-enabling the memo sync to see if everything blows up again. At least that way I can see for myself if the memo sync is a real issue. Of course, perhaps it's an issue with SherWeb (our host) specifically. Hm...
Anyway, for those that were interested, and for those that may come along in the future with a similar situation, the strange behavior that I first reported is no longer happening. I just don't know if it was a result of a security wipe or a result of not enabling memo sync with Exchange.

  • Cannot sync photos / Folders disappeared from Photos app after 3.1 update

Ever since I installed 3.1 on my iPhone, in my photos app, the Wallpaper folder and another folder I put on the iPhone via sync have disappeared. The wallpapers are still all there as I can choose one as a wallpaper from the Settings, but I cannot access them anymore via Photos. My other folder has simply disappeared.
Now I was trying to put the folder and another one back on the iPhone, and the iPhone keeps giving me the error that there isn't enough space on the iPhone. I have 223MB available according to iTunes and the folders together are under 3MB. How is this possible? Has anyone experienced the same problem / does anyone know how to solve this? Thanks.

myy folders has been deleted too . i have no idea how to fix this problem buht its very annoyinq . i need to fix this asap because syncinq was never a problem and now iht is =(

  • IPOD recognized during SYNC and then disappears from My Computer

My IPOD is recognized during the SYNC phase and as soon as the SYNC phase is done the IPOD disappears in My Computer. I have tried restoring my IPOD, uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, deactivated the save power on the USB hubs and other suggestions. There is no problem with it showing up in itunes or in the Device Manager. When I plug in my flashdrive it shows up fine in My Computer. I can unplug the IPOD from the cable and plug it back in and it will again show up in My Computer until it finishes SYNCing and then again disappears. HELP! I don't know what else to try!
