Sync dates a day out, cant sync purchased songs, or purchased apps
i have a new ipod touch which i dont wish to connect to internet. i have successfully sync'd photos and music BUT, 2 of my 4 ical calendars show events one day ahead of where they should be on the ipod??? I have checked both timezones, and have correct date/time on both.
Also, i cannot seem to add music that is purchased, nor an app i purchased on the computer from i tunes.
Help?
OK, after reading lots of this forum & playing about with the ipod i found in Settings>Mail, contacts, Calendars> a setting called time zone support, and because i am in Sydney and it was set to somewhere in the US by default that was the problem. Have changed the zone to Sydney and now it all comes up on the right day.
Still dont know about the apps & music I have purchased though.....

Facebook i0S6 - Calendar dates 1 day out
Hi there, I've just updated to iOS6 and with the Facebook integration FB events are showing in my Calendar. However they are all 1 day early! Can anyone help? I have checked my time zones are correct, I have double checked the events on FB on my Mac and on the iPhone app and they are correct, they are 1 day early in the Calendar though!

This also must be the reason why last year all my friends birthdays were a day out (Google calender sync to FB!)
Someone has created a fix for Google Calender, can we have a fix for this please Apple? It's incredibly annoying and surely an easy fix now you and FB are best of buddies! -
I go to file and click transfer but nothing happens. I am trying to update my iphone but it says you need to transfer purchase apps. So i am now stuck. i need help!!!

My boyfriend bought me a game from the App store but using my iPhone with HIS Apple ID and password. Now when I try to sync this particular app, it says "The purchased item *** on the iPhone *** could not be transferred on your iTunes library because you are not authorised for it on this computer. To authorise this computer for items purchased from the iTunes store, choose Store > Authorise This Computer".
So I clicked OK and did exactly this, only to find out that "This computer is already authorised".
And when I went back to sync this app again, it still did not work, giving me the same pop up as before, saying that it could not be transferred to my iTunes.
Can someone please help? Obviously if I had to get a new phone for whatever reason, I would want to be able to sync all my apps, including this game that my boyfriend bought for me using my handset.

Itunes 10.6 - will not sync purchased apps - error -42408
I upgraded the IPAD to the new OS and upgraded Itunes on my windows business vista PC to 10.6 - the restore and sync of the IPAD fails telling me that my computer is not authorized to use the apps - I am unable to authorize it (recieve the -42408 error) - i've seen references to an itunes 9 issue but the fixes listed there dont seem to work - any ideas?
Try taking a look at this Apple article -> iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting
"Error 42023" through "Error 42408"
These alerts might occur when trying to authorize iTunes or during launch when iTunes checks for authorization information.
Install the latest iTunes from apple.com/itunes/download/
Remove the SC Info folder.
If that does not resolve the issue, see iTunes: "Error 42408" or "Error 42404" after upgrading to iTunes 9.0.3. -

No sure which part of my reply is unclear especially since there is no Apps tab for youriPad sync preferences with iTunes on the iPad.
With Sync Apps selected under the Apps tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes. When your iPad is connected to iTunes and is selected under Devices in the iTunes source list, this makes the various tabs for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes available in the main iTunes window - with an Apps tab being one of them along with Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, Photos, etc. -

if not can you export the game to the new computer with the current settings?
or another way is to sync to the new computer and redo all the levels you have completed again and it should take you less time? -

Interested in ITUNES Match, need to consolidate music and apps purchased under different Itunes accounts. I know ITUNES MATCH will sync all music on ipad/iphone/macdesktop BUT will it also sync apps on these devices?

I had to have a replacement Ipod. I had backed up the tunes and purhased apps on my pc. When I reloaded everything, the apps did not download. How can I get them back on to the Ipod?
Are they configured to sync to your iPod? See this article for more details.

How can I find out what account purchased apps from app store?
Went to app store to get updates to the preinstalled iLife suite. All but iPhoto recieved it updates. iPhoto complained that it was purchased with another account?

Got passed it. Mac Mini had two account an admin (my appleID) and a general user (my wifes appleID). Initial configuration was done under the admin. This update was iniciated from the general user. When the updated was started, the general user ID was used and the update started. When it got to iPhoto it repromted for appleID.
I don't recall if it prompted with the ID needed. I had logged in as the admin and ran update and got passed it so I cannot test the response again.
Funny that the other iLife products updated fine.

I cant saved purchased apps to itunes even as authorized computer.
I want to update my 4S to ios6 but want to back up apps first and itunes wont let me. I have authoized all my computers and still no luck. Also i noticed after i plugged in phone to computer i can no longer open any apps on my phone when i select them. All i can open are text, maps, email, etc. nothing i installed. Hope i dont have to loose all my apps again for an update like when going to ios5. may be the last straw if so. Any help would be great thanks

How can I transfer a purchased app from my laptop to my Mac Pro?
Okay, here's the problem: I always sync and backup my iPhone on my Mac Pro. However, I recently bought an app from iTunes on my laptop. Both my Mac Pro and my laptop are authorized for my account. However, when I plug my iPhone 4 into my laptop to add the app I purchased (in the usual way, by clicking on the App tab and dragging the newly purchased app into my iPhone home window), iTunes asks me if I really want to delete all of my other purchased apps (forty-something of them). Of course, I DON'T want to do that, but I can't figure out a way to transfer the purchased app from iTunes on my laptop to iTunes on my Mac Pro (where all my other apps live). I called Applecare, and they suggested that I copy all of the folders from my Mac Pro/Users/Me/Home/Library/iTunes/ folder to the matching folder on my laptop, which I did, but to no avail. Do I have to buy the app all over again (on my Mac Pro or directly on my iPhone)????
It just occurred to me that I might be able to back up my iPhone on my laptop in addition to my Mac Pro, after which I might be able to add the recently purchased app without a problem. But if the answer is so simple, why didn't the applecare person suggest this? Has anyone else run into this conundrum?If you bought an app, if you try to buy it again it will just download the app again. You do not get double billed for the app. So you could down load the app again on your iphone or on your desktop. Alternatively you could use Home Sharing to sync purchased apps, movies, music between the computers. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3819 explains how to enable/use home sharing.

I'm sure this is a common issue, and I've google-searched for solutions but I cannot find a straight forward answer anywhere. I really hope an expert here can help me out.
I purchased an iPad last year and synced it with my iTunes library on my old PC laptop. Well, my PC laptop harddrive crashed last week and I cannot access anything on my laptop anymore. I did not make a back-up for my PC harddrive either. I know, next time I should make a back-up and I will. But that's irrelevant. The PC is gone now.
I replaced my PC this week with a brand new Mac Book Pro. Excited about my new purchase, I quickly hooked up my iPad with the hopes of easily transferring and accessing my iPages, iNumbers, and other productivity iPad apps seamlessly to my new beautiful Mac Book Pro. But now I've run into the nightmarish dilemma of not being able to sync my beloved Ipad with my new MAC without getting the warning that basically says "your iPad is already synced with another iTunes Library. You may only sync to one iTunes Library at a time. You will lose all your data if you sync to this new computer."
Can someone give me a straightfoward answer as to how I can sync my iPad with my new iTunes Library on my new Mac Book Pro without losing any of the apps that I previously purchased? I want to be able to access the apps I downloaded on my iPad on my Mac Book Pro.

While it isn't as easy to just use a Mac iDevice as media storage as Android and Windows, you can add documents and such like Word, PDF and others manually in iTunes to have them sync as well.
