Sync devices without Bluetooth

ok i have a question-I am looking to buy a new phone in the next few months but i have a question-if my mac does NOT have bluetooth, can i still sync the device? I didnt realize that i might need bluetooth when I bought it because at the time i wasnt thinking about getting a new phone and i didnt have any bluetooth devices that would have warranted the then delayed shippment.
The phone(s) that I am eying are either a Treo, Moto Q or some sort of smartphone/pda phone from verizon?

My iPad2 has my most up to date contacts, calendar. I want to now update a new iphone5 via our Mac. I not want to use iCloud if at all possible. Plus at this point i do not want any iTunes or iPhotos to be loaded onto the phone from the Mac.

I want my iPad to update the mac contact list, because the iPad has the correct info. Right now that isn't happening when I connect the two devices. Then I want the. newly updated info to go from the Mac to my iphone.

Syncing devices (iPod specifically)

Is there a way to sync devices without downloading all of my current apps to a new device? I have 28 apps on my iPhone that I use but I am buying an iPod touch5 for hubby. I will register it under my name since he does want the Pages app ( that I already own) on his iPod. I am assuming I can add the Pages app on his device from my apps? (is there a limit to how many devices you can download a purchased app to?).
Anyhow, if I sync devices via my Macbook, the apps will all end up on his device. If I just delete them on his iPod do they still take up space there? Everytime I sync, they reappear! I know this is an elementary question. I meant to ask the Apple guys the day I bought it. Thanks

Use the manual method of syncing. You check the items you want synced.

Yes. You're supposed to move it to the second device from the computer and not redownload it from the iTunes Store.

I'm also affected by this bug in exactly the same way as you.
Some users have had success by closing iTunes, enetering (on OS 10.9) settings --> network --> edit locations, then create a new location with the same wifi/network settings. Then restarting iTunes.
Others have had some success by editing settings --> iCloud --> de-selecting keychain
neither of these fixes have worked for me.
It appears that the iPad can "see" iTunes running on my iMac because when I open settings --> general --> 'iTunes wifi sync', "sync now" is greyed out if iTunes is not running. When iTunes is started, "sync now" is enabled but just doesn't work. Nor does the iPad appear in iTunes.

IPad mini iTunes sync without Bluetooth??

I have a wifi-only iPad Mini on order for my wife. Her computer is an older iMac5,2 without Bluetooth. Will she be able to transfer/sync her contact data, photos and music using the iMac's USB connection? Would any additional adaptor/'camera kit' be needed for this?

Here are the iPad Mini Technical specs for syncing with iTunes. She has to be running iTunes 10.7 and that requires an Intel Mac. Bluetooth is of no use anyway for syncing purposes.

There are some WiFi transfer apps available in the App Store that will move photos and videos to the iPad from the Mac - assuming that the Mac meets the requirements for those apps.
Without knowing more about her Mac, more than likely, she will not be able to sync with iTunes and may have problems with the WiFi transfer apps of her Mac is that old.

I had to hand in a laptop at work but forgot to de-register the device. Is there anyway I can remove this one device from my sync account without having to create a new sync key and add all of my machines back?

That changes the password but it keeps the same sync'd machines active. That laptop probably has not been turned on in weeks but it still shows up on Firefox Home even though I changed the password on the machines that I still have (the old laptop still has the old password but it still shows up as do the machines that I have not changed the password on yet.) I'm not trying to prevent that machine that I no longer have to sync with my data - I erased it - I just want it to be removed from Firefox Home on my iPhone.

If I sync, iTunes wants to overwrite all apps on the device! Like punching you for not downloading everything in itunes.

My wife has a laptop and an iphone 4s, I have a laptop and and iphone 4s, our two sons have our old iphone 3s, we have an old laptop for our sons to use. Our old iphones for our sons are deactivated as phones - so they are used as i-touches for songs, pictures and aps. I want to use icloud (which I'm new to) to hopefully have all four iphones and all three computers stay synced with at least music - if not aps and pictures. My wife has an apple ID and I have one. I'd like to authorize all three laptops for both apple IDs so that we will still have our own accounts, but everything either of us buys will be automatically loaded into all three laptops and all four iphones. Can this be done?

Each person in your home can have their own Apple ID provided it is tied the their own separate email address.
iTunes permits up to five authorized computers connected to a single Apple ID: iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization.
For this all to work well, however, each user in your household should have a separate user account on the computer they commonly use.

The problem is that all services are bundled with your Apple ID ([email protected]):
Your iCloud account (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Notes, Backups, etc.),
also iTunes & App Store purchases (Music, Movies, TV Shows, etc.),
and the iTunes Match services.
(I guess that all your devices - yours and your wife's are connected to one iTunes library, right?)
If you want that your wife gets her own iCloud account for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, etc. but gets also access to your media then you have two set up two things on her device:
iCloud (Settings > iCloud) with her account (e.g. [email protected])
and
iTunes & App Stores (Settings > iTunes & App Stores) with your account (e.g. [email protected]).
In this case she gets access to your library and could use the same iTunes Match account.

Blackberry Device Manager can't find 9320 Bluetooth device (even Bluetooth is switched on and set to Discoverable)

I want to sync my Blackberry 9320 via Bluetooth to a Windows 7 Professional machine using a Bluetooth adapter. Syncing using USB cable works fine.
I can Bluetooth pair with the 9320 and also send / receive files to /from the Windows 7 machine. Fantastic !
HOWEVER, Blackberry Device Manager can not find the 9320 Bluetooth device (even Bluetooth is switched on and set to Discoverable) - see screen shots below.
By the way I have already tried (amongst other things) “Manually Install RIM Virtual Serial Ports in Microsoft® Windows® 7” on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gK2n5dHxGHI Unfortunately, this does now work - the drivers do load up OK and remove the warning signs when view in Windows Device Manager, but Blackberry Device Manager still can't see my 9320.
Please help !

I have the exact same problem with my 9360. I have also tried all the fixes I could find on the Internet with no luck. I have posted a request as well. I will let you know if I find a solution. What gets me though is that this appears to be a long standing issue with no obvious fix! Best of luck.
