Sync does not show initunes

Music will not sync from itunes to my ipod. If I do a manual synce everything but music syncs. My Ipod appears in Itues but not the usual sync command.

Does the music play in iTunes?
If iTunes-purchased music, is the comuter authorized for the account that purchased the music?
Do apps sync?

TS1363 Ipod Nano 7 shows up as an ejectable device in Itunes, but will not sync/does not show up as a device.

My nano 7 will show up meaning an option to eject it shows up. The sync options are not grayed out, but it literally goes into sync for about 10 seconds and then shows as complete. None of my music has moved over to nano. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Itunes with newest version and have reset the nano as well. The Itunes diagnostics fails when it does the device connected testing.

Sync does not show tabs from other devices

I have two computers running Windows 8.1 and FF 26: at work, and at home. Both are synced, however, every time I want to see tabs on the other computer (History - Tabs from other devices) all I see is a blank tab. Sync settings on both are to sync everything (tabs option checked).
Is this a bug, or is there anything else I need to do to see the remote tabs?

Hi, yes, other items do sync (bookmarks from remote host show up instantly).

As you can see, there are some potential authentication issues, but I don't understand why would it only affect tabs sync, while bookmarks are fine. Note also that I merged all the stuff to the sync account by Sync - Manage Account - Reset Sync - Merge data from this device browser into your Sync account.

Firefox sync does not show up under "sync" on the computer I originally set it up on. How do I get it back?

When I try and add new devices, I go to the options on Win7 and hit the sync tab and there are no scripts showing I have an account nor a script to add device. If I try to create a new account to have it show up on this computer, it won't allow me, says it is already in use.

System is Win7 as shown above.
Right after opening FF, you can press alt+space, then release and press m. You should now be able to use the arrow keys to move the window around the screen until it's visible.

IPhone sync does not show updated contact groups or iCal groups

I have now spent the entire evening chasing issues with the Sync using iTunes 7.31. (I'm betting you'll see 7.32 very soon!) It began when I could not sync my iPhone via iTunes as it would hang when trying to sync contacts. After exporting all contacts, deleting all groups and reimporting the contact, I was finally able to get it working again ... well almost. When I went to sync, it now gets stuck on the calendar portion. So, thinking I had it figured out, I attempted to backup my iCal and restore from backup. I also deleted a bunch of no longer used groups. Well, when I went to sync again, it started hanging once again on the calendar. I also noticed that all of the cleaning up of groups in both the address book and iCal was for not as the changes did not get ported over to iTunes. So ... anyone know where iTunes is caching the info?

Was finally able to solve the issue by deleting all iCal preferences, all iTunes preference, and all iSync preferences in the /user/library/.

In the manual it says "log in to your computer user account before connecting iPad". I am the only user of this PC...does this mean some other user account. I am confused. If you are the only user on your computer you probably don't have multiple user accounts set up and can disregard that. If you are using iTunes 11 go to View>Show Sidebar. Now see if your iPad appears under Devices on the left side when you connect it. If it does, click on the name of your iPad on the left side and your iTunes sync settings options will appear in folders with tabbed headings to the right.

This is correct. It will not show in finder. It is not an external storage device.
The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. The only exception is itunes purchases. Open itunes connect ipod, do not sync, click File>Transfer Purchases

Best practices says plug the USB cable into the computer, then plug the 30 pin connector into the iPhone.
If everything is working correctly, you should be able to plug the iPhone in at any time. Before or after opening iTunes.
Depending on what settings are selected in iTunes, the program may or may not automatically open when you connect the device.

Do you have the latest version of iTunes for Windows installed? I would turn on the sidebar and the menu bar just to make sure you are seeing everything. If the iPhone is still not recognized in iTunes, follow these troubleshooting steps:

The new iTunes has a somewhat different look from the previous version. You can get the old look back if you prefer it by doing View > Show Sidebar in iTunes. Or you can adapt to the new look.

Here is the problem: The tab where you go to sync music to your iPod and shows the list of artists and songs you want to sync to the iPod, the tab I can get to but the list of songs and artists does not show up and the only way I can sync music to my iPod is to basically wipe my iPod and start from scratch. Obviously, I do not want to do that because I do not have all the songs in my library that I have on my iPod. I have uninstalled iTunes and then re-installed it, but it did not work and I do not know what else to do. I would really appreciate helpful guidance to get it fixed if it can be fixed.
