Sync e-mails: deleted e-mail from outlook still showing in the iphone.
Why a specific e-mail already deleted in the outlook, which is sync with iphone, still showing in the iphone screen many days later despite of the fact that all other e-mails are deleted without a problem?
My iphone is sync with my outlook e-mails with a corporate account, has being working perfect since than, but I have one specific e-mail that came in few days ago, answered, and "deleted"; however when deleted i still getting a message "the message could not be moved to the mailbox trash" and the related e-mail still showing in my inbox.
Is this an IMAP account, or an Exchange account accessed via ActiveSync with the Exchange server?
If this message is no longer available in the account's Inbox mailbox on the server, try deleting and recreating the account on your iPhone.

From the message you are receiving, it sounds like you either, 1) haven't synced your iPhone with that computer before, 2) are using two different iTunes accounts, or 3) both. If you have purchased music or movies through your iPhone with a certain iTunes account and purchased books through iBooks on your MacBook through a different iTunes account then there is no having both on the phone.
Apple doesn't allow content from two different accounts on a device at the same time. Also if two "libraries" have been created, one on the iPhone and one on the Macbook then syncing will erase data that is not associated with that particular library.
If you are using the same iTunes account for both, then you should be able to redownload any purchased items (music, books, etc.) from iCloud, assuming you have set that up.

I have deleted all emails from my ICloud email account but my manage storage still shows that the mail is using 9.7GB. Why isn't the number decreasing if all emails have been deleted?
It might be caused by storage "buffering". If so, the space will adjust automatically when another iCloud feature uses the space previously allocated to your deleted email. See http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4873.

Why can I no longer sync my Calendar from outlook to my iPad the button has gone from iTunes why.
Calendar data is now synced through icloud not local itunes.
Make sure it is setup under Settings>Icloud & Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars -

I've got an odd problem here and I'm not sure how long it's been going on ...
I have an iPhone 5s running iOS7.0.6
I have a Windows Vista PC running Outlook 2007
Itunes is V11.1.3.8
I do NOT use iCloud or a Microsoft Exchange server
It is just a local sync. from my PC to my iPhone....

I have been sync-ing my iPhone to Outlook for some months mostly successfully,
but have recently noticed an odd problem ... a few of my contact records are disappearing from Outlook and being DUPLICATED on the iPhone.
That is to say: These contact records that have been deleted from Outlook appear TWICE on my iPhone ...
I'm not sure how many records are affected but it appears to be a small number.

By default, your Outlook data is stored in Personal Folders format (PST) unless you are using an Exchange Server to access your data. An iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch syncing via iTunes will sync with the default PST or OST file. When using an OST file, only information stored locally, or cached on your computer, will be available to sync.
Note: You may be able to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch directly with your Exchange server. For more information on syncing directly with an Exchange server, contact your Exchange Administrator. I have no junk mail filtering, no rules, but Mail deletes my email and it is not in the trash or in the junk mail folder! I open the Mail application and I see my messages and then watch as they disappear.

thanksSame problem here - noticed it first a couple of days ago.
I do have a rule (just the default apple highlight one) and do have junk filtering on - but only "put into junk" not delete it.
I have done some trials but frankly they weren't particularly revealing - I thought it was linked to having the system set to remove the messages from my POP server on download, but I'm not sure about that.
It does only seem to affect the inbox folder - so ironically junk and deleted mail are kept...
Strangely it seems happier now I have set up a second rule which copies every mail to a local folder called "localmail" - as a result of which the mail in the main inbox is kept as well as the new copy.
This is very very frustrating, not least for the other users of my machine who are now concerned about logging in in case their mail archives are deleted also. Thankfully I didn't have too many sat in the inbox - and I have simply contacted those that have sent me to resend it. -
When I send an email from outlook on my computer, the email address appears in my iphone4 contact list. How do I stop this?

Also to add to what Ana said, if you've been importing http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 to your computer as you would a digital camera. Then you can sync http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236 them back to your phone using iTunes.

I deleted a contact, but they still show up in my text options to send. I would like to delete the contact from my texts too.
No don't restore your iphone. I've done that several times & it has never worked. -I still have deleted contacts in my iphone texts. *However if you do restore it you will not lose all your data, pics, text messages etc if you backup in iCloud. It restores back to original phone. Very nice :). Anyhowwww....
I JUST figured it out!! :))). Remove the contact from recents.
Start a text. You should see the deleted contact. All the way to the right of the name is a symbol. The symbol is a circle with "i" in the middle. Click that symbol then in red lettering click "remove from recents". -

Log into the app store using the Apple ID you used to set your computer up. Look under purchases. If it is not there you may need to accept it or to unhide it

Bottom Line Index will speed up the Process. While loading the Data you need to delete the Index.
Index will degrade the performence while updating or modifying DB Entries(Loading). Index will improve the performence while reading the DB(Reporting).
It's not with BW. all RDBMS need this.

Correct. The iphone is not a storage/backup device. The photo sync is one way - computer to iphone.
You need to copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one. -
Can I delete old backups from other devices if my new iphone 6 has a current backup with everything on my new phone?

You can do this if you are confident that your current device has all of the data on it that you want to keep. The method for deleting the backup will be differnt depending on the backup method. Take a look at the articles below for more information.

I was organizing my photos into albums. then deleting them from my Camera roll. Then I went into MY Photo Stream and started deleting the pics I had moved to albums;Come to find out I deleted all pic from everywhere!! Would the iCloud still have them saved
First of all, you should always save you photos on computer like any other digital camera.
Backup on iCloud or iTunes only backup your Camera Roll. The other photos should be already on the computer.
Note: Photos are not saved in iTunes, it's only a conduit between your iPhone and your photo managing software on computer.

Under your device in iTunes, you need to make sure you have "Sync Music" enabled on iTunes under the music tab to tell iTunes to move the music it has over to your iPhone.
