Sync epubs from iBooks on iPad to iphone

I have downloaded several free epubs, from non-iBooks sources, into my iBooks on my iPad. I now have an iPhone. I turned 'sync iBooks collection' on on both devices but cannot get my iBooks collection sto sync. What am I doing wrong?

Using Sync Collections with PDFs in iBooks
If you turned on Sync Collections, iBooks will keep your PDFs (and non–iBooks Store books) in the same collections across all your iOS devices and Mac (if you're using OS X Mavericks). For example, if you have the same PDF on all your devices, when you move that PDF to your Sci-Fi collection in iBooks on your iPhone, that PDF will appear in your Sci-Fi collection the next time you open iBooks on your iPad.
If you delete a PDF (or non–iBooks Store book) while you have Sync Collections turned on, it only affects the copy on the device. For example, if you delete a copy of the PDF from your iPad, it will still be on your iPhone.

I have uploaded PDFs to iBooks but they aren't syncing between devices.

The best way I found to sync PDFs in iBooks between all your IOS Devices and a Mac is to TICK the "Sync with this (Your iDevice) over Wi-Fi" setting which is found in the "Summery" when you open iTunes on your Mac and select your iDevice from the top let corner of your iTunes window or from the left side column in the Playlist amd Apply.

You have to use iCloud for the Notes. Books can be synced via iTunes.

IBooks on iPad and iPhone

I have an iPad and and iPhone. I have iBooks app on both. I don't have an iMac computer. Can I get the books I purchased on my iPad to show up on my iPhone. I believe I have the settings on both to Sync.
I saw on on Apple commercial they showed someone reading an iBook on an iPad and then showing the same book being able to be read on the iPhone. There was no iMac in the commercial. This lead me to believe I do not need an iMac in order to share a book on my iPad and iPhone. However, earlier threads seem to indicate a computer is needed to sync iBooks between iPad and iPhone.
My calendar and contacts sync correctly.

The books won't share or bookmarks/collections?
Reset both devices?
Turn sync bookmarks & collections off, then on again?
Remove the books and then load them up again from a single iTunes library?

With iTunes 11 you can enable the left-hand sidebar via control-S on a PC, option-command-S on a Mac. If you are trying to get it to the iBooks app then with the sidebar enabled the process should be similar to how it was on previous versions of iTunes e.g. add it to your iTunes library via File > Add To Library, connect the iPad and select it on the left-hand sidebar, and then use the Books tab on the right-hand side to select and sync it to the iBooks app.

I am having a weird problem with my phone every since it was updated this last time. I can sync movies from my computer to my iphone but any movies I buy with my phone I can not sync to the computer. But I redownload it to the computer and can then sync.

I for the first time since buying my iphone and ipods for almost three years am concedering getting rid of them as I am getting tired of this problem. You are correct. Syncing should transfer any purchased media, including videos, from your device to your iTunes library provided your computer is authorized for the Apple ID used to make these purchases. You mentioned that you have uninstalled iTunes before, but if you didn't follow this guide exactly, uninstalling iTunes and all of its components in the order specified, it may not have been successful so you should try again: Windows XP or Windows Vista/7.

I am trying to use icloud to sync photos from pc to ipad. The photos are in the photostream upload folder on the pc.
It works the other way round, though, photos from ipad appear on pc.

perfect. ok do the following:
settings > mail, contacts, calendars > go into the exchange account. You should have an email in the account field...[email protected] or [email protected], etc.... I am assuming you don't remember the password to this exchange account so once you know the email, you can go to email providers site and click on forgot password and you will go through the steps to get a new password. Once you do this, you will need to go back into your "exchange account " and the field that has the exchange email > touch the > to open settings. Change the password to your new password you got from above. Once you do this, you can add the exchange account to your ipad and all of your contacts will sync to both devices.
Please confirm.

If you are trying to sync them to the iBooks app on your iPad and they are in your computer's iTunes library (if not then you should be able to add ibooks, PDFs and digital-rights-free epbs via File > Add To Library), then you should be able to sync them via the Books tab in a similar way to how you are using the Photos and Music tabs to sync those items. Is that not working, and if not does your computer's iTunes give the impression that they are copying over ?

If one is running Outllok on a Mac machine then it is not possible to sync the contacts with iPhone. It is strange that Apple distributors are promoting and offering machines with promise that Windows users can now run MS Office on Mac machines without any problem. While this is true, it is so strange that one cannot sync the contacts from MacBook Pro to iPhone5. If you are on iTunes 11 on your computer then you may want to enable the left-hand sidebar via View > Show Sidebar (option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC), which might make it easier to navigate.
Connect the iPad to your computer and select it on that left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Music - if you select that tab you should then be able to select which of you iTunes music library to sync to the iPad's Music app
