Sync Error 0xE000003D OneNote 2010 with SkyDrive

I have OneNote 2010 installed on a WIndows 7 machine.  Recently one particular folder is showing a sync error with SkyDrive that I cannot resolve.  I have deleted the folder and it's contents completely (after copying content to Word doc to restore
at a later date). I've performed many syncs and the error still remains.  I have cleared the OneNote_RecycleBin folder on the local machine.  There is nothing in the recycle folder when I login to SkyDrive.  This notebook also syncs with two
other desktop computers (both Win 7), an iPad and an iPhone.  The error is in the screen shot below:
Thanks!

If this error only happens on one computer, try start OneNote in safe boot mode, and delete the local notebook cache, then try to sycn the notebook again.
To start OneNote in safe boot mode, run the following command line switch:
OneNote.exe /safeboot

    Hi,
Is this issue only occur in one client machine? Can other machines installed SharePoint Workspace 2010 works when perform syncing?
As you have reinstalled the 2687364 hotfix and the issue still exists, I suggest you install Office 2010 SP2 to see if it can work:

    64-bit

  • I had the "unknown syncing error" for so long with no improvement that I finally uninstalled Firefox sync--but I'm STILL getting the error all day long!!!!

Running Firefox 4.0, was running Sync 1.7 on a Windows XP machine. Became so frustrated with the constant error message at the bottom of my screen (Sync encountered an error while syncing: Unknown error. Sync will automatically retry this action.) that I uninstalled Sync. However, after multiple Ff restarts the error message continues to appear.
I noted that at least 10 other people had posted this as a problem in the forums but didn't see any solutions.
    Can you help?

I know the last reply was from a couple weeks ago, but honestly, I haven't been able to find anything else in the last week of searching Google. I'm new to the MDT process but I'm having the same issue with what you posted. I can shift-F10 during the "Applying
system settings" and open my unattend.xml file and remove the IEWelcomeMsg line and the image deploys perfectly, so I know that's my problem. I can't figure out where that line is coming from. I have edited every unattend.xml file in the Templates folder under
MDT and also the one in my deployment task sequence, but somewhere during that deployment, that one setting gets added back to the unattend file and nukes the whole image. I'm about to pull my hair out. I'm implementing MDT to save time but I feel like the
last couple of weeks trying to get it to work have been a waste. I have thought about backing my reference image back to IE9, but having to deploy IE10 post image seems like it's an unnecessary burden. Any help would be appreciated.

  • IPod touch will not sync error message 13019 even with newest version of itunes

hello yesterday I was having trouble with syncing and the error message 13019 popped up. I was told that by updating itunes to the newest version would solve the problem. My itunes has been updated but when I try to drag any music to "iPod touch" under devices the error messege pops up again. I have an older version of the ipod touch and it asks me to update it to 4.2? I believe thats the newest version. When I try to update that it says there are things on my iPod that will be lost if I don't sync it but it doesn't allow me to sync my ipod! Thank you for any help.

    - Transfer iTunes purchases to the computer by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
    - Transfer other music by using a third-party program like one of those discussed here:
Copy music from Ipod to new computer...: Apple Support Communities
    - Connect the iPOd to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
    - Restore the iPod from that backup.

  • Trial version of Adobe presenter 9 install error in Powerpoint 2010 with windows 7 64 Professional

Today I tried to install Adobe Presenter 9 on a Windows Porfessional 64 bits Platform.
After the installatieon Powerpoint 2010 has no tab of the presenter, because I have an (old) installation problem?
    Please HELP.

    Hi,
Make sure you have installed 32-bit Presenter if you have 32-bit Powerpoint. If you would have installed 64-bit Presenter for 32-bit Office then you would land up in this situation.
Let me know whether this helped.

  • Issues syncing with OneNote 2013 and skydrive

    Hi Support
I had a syncing issue on one of my OneNote notebooks. I used the MS help and they suggested that I confirm that the notebook is on the Skydrive web access, which it is, and then close the notebook. I have done that.
Now when i try and open the notebook by using the open notebook in One Note from the webapp, the notebook has nothing in there and it is giving a sync error.
We're sorry, something went wrong during sync. We'll try again later. (Error code: 0xE0000B70)
Can anyone help? I have tried all ways of trying to open the notebook.
I really hope that I have not lost this notebook.
    Regards
    Julie

    Hi,
When did you get this error? When you open the notebook in OneNote 2013? Or when open it in OneNote web app?
If the notebook can be opened in web app, it means
the problem may be caused by the desktop version of OneNote. Then, we can try closing and re-opening the notebook to check the result.
If the notebook not open even in web app, it means the problem may be with your server. We can
    check the
Microsoft Services status page for any known interruptions or outages.

  • Sync Error Share Point & Onenote 2010

I have verified that none of the columns are required, versioning is turned off and check in/check out is not required.  (http://office.microsoft.com/en-US/onenote-help/resolve-document-library-errors-when-using-onenote-2010-with-sharepoint-HA102647129.aspx?ver=14&app=onenote.exe)
Yet I continue to get this error.
This section cannot be synced because Check-in Check-Out or Required Properties are enabled in the SharePoint library. Disable Check-In Check-Out and Required Properties or move this notebook to a different location. (Error code: 0xE000078E)
    Some additional notes
I can create the one note on share point and I have full rights to this share point site and the parent site.
When I added a word document it required me to add a Title as a required field.  Is there some place that sets this as a required field for all libraries?  How do I override this?

While everything appeared to be correct there was a location that required the title field even though it was not showing.  To resolve this issue I did the following.
    1. Library -> List Settings -> Advanced Settings
    2. Set "Allow management of content types?" equal to Yes and save
    3. Scroll down and it will show that the fields are required
This fixed the issue for all new items but required us to delete the items added previously and re add them to resolve the issue.

  • Failed to Sync OneNote 2013 with Sharepoint 2013 - Saying Required Properties option is selected

    Hi All
I am trying to integrating OneNote 2013 with Sharepoint 2013, but whatever i do it came up as:
We can't sync because the Required Properties option is selected on the server. Disable the option, or move the notebook to a new location. (Error code: 0xE0000B9B)
I've followed knowledge based and turn off the Required Properties as i can see off, but error still showing up.
Has anyone encountered this error before?
Thanks a lot for any contribution.

    HI G_Virus,
Please check if any field is set as required, then set it to optional for the OneNote content type from the problem library.
And also check Jannifer's reply mentioned that compare this content type fields to the OneNote without issue from other site collection or farm per the following post, see if it helps.

  • Sync Error messages

    Hello.
Since Monday I keep getting sync errors on Firefox 31 with a Windows 8.1 machine:
"Sync encountered an error while syncing: Unknown error."
    Here is the sync log:
    http://pastebin.com/fuY8u572
It looks like it is syncing everything except for the open tabs on this computer.
Could you please take a look?

I have recently started getting these messages on Firefox ESR 24.7.0 Macintosh. It's very frustrating: I have no idea what will happen to sync once my machines are able to access the database with their increasingly-divergent bookmarks, etc.
Should I assume the problem remains at your end? I have at least one error log available to post on request.

  • Error code: 0xE401064C -- error in syncing a sharepoint OneNote ....

We consistently get an error in OneNote client when trying to sync the local OneNote files to the ones that are Sharepoint.  The Sharepoint OneNote files are in a special Sharepoint OneNote library, created with the right default template.
Versioning, etc. are all off for the general Sharepoint folder settings (per advice in a number of placed in this and other forums.)  After we create the initial version of OneNote files on Sharepoint (and everything initially looks OK with an initial
look both in the browser and in a OneNote client), we start getting errors in syncing (Error code: 0xE401064C) in the OneNote client itself and no updates propagate from the OneNote client to the Sharepoint Site.   The error says we cannot open for
    editing.
    Any thoughts/Ideas?

  • Blue Screen Error when syncing ipod touch 4g 32gb with i tunes 10 on Vista

    Hi
I'm trying to sync my ipod touch 4g with my itunes 10 using a Dell XPS with Windows Vista. After the point where the songs begin to copy (around 5 mins to 30 mins into copying) a blue screen error is caused and the computer shuts down automatically. The blue screen error ID is 2057.
I have scanned for viruses and its clean, tested my hardrive and its all ok, and now been to apple and got a replacement ipod and usb, re-installed i tunes 10 BUT its still happening.
i'm not sure what to do next ..any suggestions??
BTW my computer works fine until I try syncing the ipod so it's definitely something related to it.

Just in case anybody is interested I managed to resolve the problem. Not sure if it was a just a co-incidence but after windows had auto-removed itunes 10, I plugged in the ipod and the computer recognised it as a working piece of hardware, although it actually thought it was a camera (not sure if that's normal).
Anyway I re-installed itunes10 but kept the ipod plugged into the usb all the time. When itunes had installed, i began the sync and the files copied far more quickly than in previous attempts. They are all on now and the ipod is working fine and no blue screen errors.
What probably happened is that when windows auto-fixed errors after the last crash(it didn't run an auto-fix after previous crashes), it fixed the error which was crashing itunes10 when syncing. I hope nobody else has this problem and the ipod remains ok.

  • Sync errors with Windows 8 phones.

Has anyone been having issues with syncing Windows 8 devices? We have about 50 HTC 8X phones and around 10% of them are having sporadic sync errors. We also have some of the Nokia WP8 devices that exhibit the same issues. While the WP8 device is problematic, we can have an Android or iOS device working next to it just fine. The error on the device is 85002012. Would be interested to see if this is consistent among users of GMS2, or is there something wrong with us. I did open an SR with support and I can report back any findings from there.

We can't rule it out and the Window8 systems have demonstrated
themselves to be particularly picky about certs. It could well be that
something else happened to change in the same time you upgraded that is
confusing the issue (always frustrating when that happens). Check your
certs to be sure is how we rule them out and the Heartbleed issue has
brought lots of such tools out. One I've been using that may help you
    is
    https://sslanalyzer.comodoca.com/
Are you actually using the same cert you were running before? Just in
case the upgrade replaced your cert.
