Sync error for TV Show name

I have and apple mackbook pro sync'd to an apple tv and all works OK however, when I sync some tv shows, on the apple tv the TV show name is removed in the listing and is replaced by the word various. it only happen with some tv shows to the point I have three various playlists listed when I select TV menu. anybody else have this problem? I have tried changing the tv show name to little effect

What the covers of the books is solved, you could just remove them and put them back again.

When trying to create an account for Firefox Sync, it gives me the message "Unknown Error" for the User Name, no matter what text I enter.

I am currently on a corporate network, and it may be blocking a site that needs to be allowed in order for this to go through, however I do not know what site that would be.
All that I have tried is to test different User Names and restart the Setup.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Can you please try using any other Internet connection outside your company's network and see if it is working? Alternatively, Can you please try the below settings from the Advanced... Menu while creating the connection using FTP details and try to create the connection again:

Duplicate File Name error for Unicode file names

I am trying to rip my music collection from CDs to iTunes. I have decided to use my local language (Bangla/Bengali) as Track/Artist names using Unicode. I can edit the CD Info perfectly. The problem started when I try to import the tracks to iTunes as AAC/mp3. The first track is always imported ok but subsequent tracks fails to be imported. iTunes gave an error message saying the file name already exists where as it was not.
Please help.

Now i found the new error, if i trandata table with table name "/" ex : /test04
i get this error:

Getting Itunes sync errors for no good reason

Have an Ipod classic, 80 Gig and all of a sudden I'm getting the error "attempting to copy to the disk "__" failed. The disk could not be read or written to. Another error was "___ ipod" cannot be synched. The required folder cannot be found. Brought ipod to apple store and they claimed the hard drive was shot so they gave me a new one. Got home, tried to sync the new one with the same results at first. I switched the cord and it was able to sync but stopped at 753 songs and gave error that it was unable to copy songs to disk due to running out of memory. Somebody help me PLEASE!!

If you ever had the Norton firewall even as a demo you may have to use the Norton removal tool which you should find on the Norton site.

It's a bit of a sledge hammer to crack a nut. I used it once and had to do a repair install of iTunes to get my CD dives back.
If you haven't tried briefly disabling the Windows firewall as a test, try that. You might need to reenable iTunes.
It is odd if you are an administrator, as according to your diagnostics, iTunes doesn't think you are. Do you have another account you can try using?

Sync error for Ovi Maps

I tried downloading new maps for my 5800XpressMusic via Ovi Suite but it reported 'Internal error. Please try again later' - despite my functioning maps on the phone Ovi Suite cannot detect any maps, let alone adding new ones in.
I have tried reinstalling both my Device software v51.0.006 and the latest Ovi Maps app but still in vain.
Any insight?

I had the "unknown syncing error" for so long with no improvement that I finally uninstalled Firefox sync--but I'm STILL getting the error all day long!!!!

Running Firefox 4.0, was running Sync 1.7 on a Windows XP machine. Became so frustrated with the constant error message at the bottom of my screen (Sync encountered an error while syncing: Unknown error. Sync will automatically retry this action.) that I uninstalled Sync. However, after multiple Ff restarts the error message continues to appear.
I noted that at least 10 other people had posted this as a problem in the forums but didn't see any solutions.
Can you help?

I know the last reply was from a couple weeks ago, but honestly, I haven't been able to find anything else in the last week of searching Google. I'm new to the MDT process but I'm having the same issue with what you posted. I can shift-F10 during the "Applying
system settings" and open my unattend.xml file and remove the IEWelcomeMsg line and the image deploys perfectly, so I know that's my problem. I can't figure out where that line is coming from. I have edited every unattend.xml file in the Templates folder under
MDT and also the one in my deployment task sequence, but somewhere during that deployment, that one setting gets added back to the unattend file and nukes the whole image. I'm about to pull my hair out. I'm implementing MDT to save time but I feel like the
last couple of weeks trying to get it to work have been a waste. I have thought about backing my reference image back to IE9, but having to deploy IE10 post image seems like it's an unnecessary burden. Any help would be appreciated.

Syncing Error for Pocket Mac

I am running osx 10.5.8 and pocket sync version 1.2 (1.4)
Everytime I run the synch Manager, I get the following error...

How do I solve this?

I had the same issue. I disconnected the phone and re-started my Mac. The issue was solved after that... When in doubt, restart the d@^n thing.

Syncing Error for Multiple Devices

I just installed some update (have no idea what it was) and now I cannot sync my AppleTV or iPhone. Both of them give an error that "The disk could not be read from or written to". Everything worked fine yesterday. I repaired permissions and it did not help.

Bug report: Possible reason for Creative Cloud sync error

Perhaps this helps someone in resolving/eradicating some "unexplained" sync errors.
I recently had a persistent sync error for five third-party images in a folder. It made no difference if I transferred the images via another method to my second computer: the error then simply occurred on both computers.
All the files are okay (not corrupt) but after some investigation, I discovered they had something in common:
All files had a creation date of 1 January 1970 01:00
(German OS-X 10.9.1 system, so probably 00:00 GMT, i.e. Unix epoch time).
Resetting the creation date via the terminal to a recent date, e.g.
> touch -t 201402171000 filename.jpg
resolved the problem and the files then synced.
I hope that helps for future versions of CC.

The attached patch for db-4.7 makes two changes:
it allows enough for each bucket to have the configured number of threads, and
it initializes env->thr_nbuckets, which previously had not been initialized.

Audio sync error while edit to tape

Hi!
I have a sync error for around 1 sec more or less when i´m
either doing a print to video or just playback my timeline
in my external monitor.
I´m using a mac pro (macosx leopard) with a AJA kona LHE video card and
final cut pro 6.0.2. The deck is a Sony 500 digibeta recorder.
Anyone has a idea or solution i would be very grateful,
i need all the help i can get.

Download the latest drivers again if need be, and UNINSTALL them before you reinstall them. I sort of think the problem may lie there. What slot is the kona in? That could be a problem.
Also if this fails, you might contact the good folk at AJA, they are the best of the best when it comes to troubleshooting things with their gear. I don't know of any issues here, but don't have a Kona in my current setup. Have an Io HD now.

After restoring 120 Gig Ipod classic, Keep getting random Sync errors?

So, I was using a third party software called Media Monkey to tag some album art on my ipod. For whatever reason my the program kept closing out and crashing. Eventually it crashed so hard that it wiped my entire library of music. After some failed attempts to save my music by taking it off of the hidden ipod_Control folder, I gave up and restored it. After the restore, whenever I attempt to add music I keep getting random numbered sync errors (for example -50, -1303.-69,-53). This is only after I add about 3 or 4 gigs of space. (I tired re adding the music album by album and still have the same issue after only 2 gigs of space.) I have NEVER had a problem with this ipod before, it's not even 4 months old yet so i'm not sure what is going on here. I have called apple three times (all i'm told is if I want actually help and not articles that i've already used, I have to pay.) I have tired making it a disk drive but itunes still treats my ipod like it's an ipod and not a disk drive. Any help would be REALLY nice. Thank you for reading! I've also restore my ipod multiple times as well.

Hopefully it is only a filesystem corrupted by conflicting Apps.
Try to fix the iPod filesystem, using Properties->Tools->error checking.
Then Restore the iPod.
if then doesn't work, do the iPod Disk Diagnostics, as posted by tt2, it wont fix your problem , but helps in troubleshooting.
