Sync group does not show local instance
I cannot find my local sql server listed when I add a new sync group. The hub dialog is ok, but the reference database does not show databases registered using the Data Sync Agent. Those local databases are SQL 2008 SQLExpress, 2012 SQLExpress and 2014
SQL Server. None show up. I have successfully done this earlier in the year. Prerequisites are installed. What might be wrong?
Hi,
Please have a check on the below link and check if it helps.

Specified Order Grouping does not show if Distinct Count is Zero
Post Author: Hieu
CA Forum: General
Hello,
I'm using Crystal Reports XI R2 with SQL data source. I have a cross-tab report with grouping in specified order. It's a report of applicants applying to a college. The grouping is of various majors (degrees). The report summarizes (distinct counts) the number of applicants for the groups of majors. The problem is that if the count for a group of major is zero, then that Named Group does not appear at all in the cross-tab report. I want the Name Group to appear with the count of "0".
I notice this same phenomenon with specified order grouping anywhere and not just in a cross-tab. I have tried changing "convert database/other null values to default" but nothing working yet.
Any help will be most appreciated. Thanks.Post Author: synapsevampire

It's not a phenomenon, it's how databases and SQL works.
You didn't get any rows back for those with a zero distinct count (otherwise the count would be 1 or more, right?), so Crystal doesn't show any data for those groups.
So to display a zero for those that do not exist would reuire either advanced SQL, or manual summaries.
One method for manual summaries is to use Running Totals. Select distinct count of the applicants and group by the majors, then in the evaluate use a formula place:
{table.majors} = "Blah 1"
Creating a seperate Running Total for every group and replacing "Blah 1" with the various majors.

IPhone 4 charging, can sync but does not show it.
Yeah it does everything, but it doesn't vibrate or makes the charging sound, and I tried it on both my computer and using the ac wall plug. And it does not show the battery charging in lock mode and the little small battery in the upper right left stays the same....
What should I do?????Help anyone?????

IPhone4 will not sync and does not show up in a device list.
My son's phone was originally listed under my Apple ID.
He has since created a new one and says he removed it.
He is now trying to go under mine again but Itunes does not recognize his phone is plugged in.
I tried checking his other id and it doesn't show any devices registered.
I read on here that it should show any device and when it was registered so you couldn't do the switch within 90 days.
I also checked mine and it doesn't show registered on there either.
I just want to sync it with my apple ID.
We have tried all the troubleshooting steps on here with the phone as well as uninstalling and reinstalling itunes on the Mac.... and NOTHING.
Any suggestions????
Thank you!Click the appropriate link below to troubleshoot your problem.

Imported group does not show up
Hi, Just converted from GW6 to GW8 and tried to follow the rules for creating a group using export of group and then import of file. However, the import does not yield any results, either to an existing group or to a new group. GW only allows import to the major groups (e.g., Frequent Contacts) and not the subgroups.
Can anyone shed light?
Thanks!

UCCX Web Chat Transcript does not show local language
Hi Everyone,
I have installed UCCX10.5 with CUCM10.5 and SocialMiner10.5. The web chat function works fine.
But when customer try to download the chat transcript it shows only English language, any conversations that typed in local language doesn't show (Blank).
I already installed language pack for SocialMiner but it still doesn't works.
Anyone please advise.
Regards,
TinnakornHi Tinnakorn,
What is the local language used here?
Looking through the user guide:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/socialminer
/socialminer_105/user_guide/CUSM_BK_SC3AB4FC_00_socialminer-user-guide-1051/CUSM_BK_SC3AB4FC_00_socialminer-user-guide-10-5_chapter_010.html
The chat transcript PDF supports all languages that SocialMiner supports except for the
following:
* Chinese Simplified (zh_CN)
* Chinese Traditional (zh_TW)
* Japanese (ja_JP)
* Korean (ko_KR)
If a chat session is conducted using one of these languages, the option to download a PDF
is not presented to the customer. For more information about supported languages on
SocialMiner, see Cisco Social Miner Developer Guide available here:
https://developer.cisco.com/site/collaboration/contact-center/socialminer/overview/
<https://developer.cisco.com/site/collaboration/contact-center/socialminer/overview/>
So looking at the developer guide, it gives you this table:
To use the locale, you must install the language pack in SocialMiner. For more information
about
installing language packs, see the Cisco SocialMiner User Guide, available here:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/customer-collaboration/socialminer/
products-user-guide-list.html
If you do not have the language pack installed, the locale defaults to en_ALL.
The following table lists the strings that you can use for the locale parameter with their
associated languages.
String Language
da_DK Danish
de_DE German
en_ALL English
es_ES Spanish
fi_FI Finnish
fr_CA French (Canada)
fr_FR French (France)
it_IT Italian
nb_NO Norwegian
nl_NL Dutch
pl_PL Polish
pt_BR Portuguese
ru_RU Russian
sv_SE Swedish
tr_TR Turkish
Important The following locales/languages are not supported for the PDF output:
• Chinese Simplified (zh_CN)
• Chinese Traditional (zh_TW)
• Japanese (ja_JP)
• Korean (ko_KR) -

I have mac OS X 10.3 server sharing my local USB printer for over more than 18 months, suddently on Jan 6th 2007, my server refused to see them in
the Print Services in the Admin tool.
The last log I got from starting it is on jan 5th:

I can see this error in the watchdog log:

2007-02-08 20:35:27 PST Terminating due to signal.
I can still print locally to the machine (obvisouly no other computers on my network can !).
The Print Service tab, let me add 3 types of queue: LPR, appletalk and OpenDirectory but NOT USB !!!
On Jan 8th I have installed FCP and that's the extend of my modification....
R.I have tracked the problem a little deeper, and it's caused by the PrintServiceMonitor.
If you run in a Terminal:
:/private/etc/cups root# PrintServiceMonitor -x
PrintServiceMonitor: Initialization error (-9948)

ktrace seems to point to a CUPS config error but I can't find what's wrong with it. -

I have recently purchased (from the States) an ipod nano 6th generation. I belong to a local library and can download books from the audiobooks online section. Problem is, my iPod when synced to iTunes, does not show Library as a category and audiobooks. For some reason, it is allowing me to download the books to my iPod, but I am unable to delete them from the iPod, and also, it is giving an echo (I think somehow it is downloading twice which is giving an echo effect). Not sure what is going on, but if anyone can advise me on this I would be very grateful.
Hello mrsbonniesue
If you have an issue with the audiobook showing up in music, check to see if those tracks are labeled as audio books or music. The article below will explained as well as I have highlighted the main portion for changing that information.
iTunes 11 for Windows: Edit song and CD information
http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12360
Identify an item that you imported from a CD as an audiobook, so it appears under Audiobooks instead of Music (click the Options button and choose Audiobook from the Media Kind pop-up menu). If you do this, iTunes also remembers your place in the audiobook

Server 2008 R2 does not show Internet Explorer 10/11 Group Policy options
Hello,
I have a Windows Server 2008 R2 server that has IE11 installed. I am attempting to create a GPO to control Proxy settings for IE10/11 clients, however, when I go to User Config>Preferences> Control Panel Settings> Internet Settings and Right click,
I do not see an option for IE10, only IE5 and 6, IE7, and IE8.
I have downloaded and installed the Administrative Templates for Internet Explorer from
here, and followed the installation instructions, but still, the option does not show up. I have ensured that all the latest Windows Updates are installed on the server, and rebooted
the server a couple times.
What am I missing here?
Thanks in advance.<meta content="text/html; charset=UTF-16" http-equiv="Content-Type" /><title>SFDN\testuser</title> <style type="text/css">body { background-color:#FFFFFF; border:1px solid #666666; color:#000000; font-size:68%;

This setting determines whether the Properties menu item is enabled, and thus, whether the Local Area Connection Properties dialog box is available to users.
If you enable this setting (and enable the "Enable Network Connections settings for Administrators" setting), the Properties menu items are disabled for all users, and users cannot open the Local Area Connection Properties dialog box.
Important: If the "Enable Network Connections settings for Administrators" is disabled or not configured, this setting will not apply to administrators on post-Windows 2000 computers.
If you disable this setting or do not configure it, a Properties menu item appears when users right-click the icon representing a LAN connection. Also, when users select the connection, Properties is enabled on the File menu.
Note: This setting takes precedence over settings that manipulate the availability of features inside the Local Area Connection Properties dialog box. If this setting is enabled, nothing within the properties dialog box for a LAN connection is available to
users.
Note: Nonadministrators have the right to view the properties dialog box for a connection but not to make changes, regardless of this setting." gpmc_settingname="Prohibit access to properties of a LAN connection" gpmc_settingpath="User Configuration/Administrative

If you enable this setting (and enable the "Enable Network Connections settings for Administrators" setting), the check boxes for enabling and disabling components are disabled. As a result, administrators cannot enable or disable the components that
a connection uses.
Important: If the "Enable Network Connections settings for Administrators" is disabled or not configured, this setting will not apply to administrators on post-Windows 2000 computers.
If you disable this setting or do not configure it, the Properties dialog box for a connection includes a check box beside the name of each component that the connection uses. Selecting the check box enables the component, and clearing the check box disables
the component.
Note: When the "Prohibit access to properties of a LAN connection" setting is enabled, users are blocked from accessing the check boxes for enabling and disabling the components of a LAN connection.
Note: Nonadministrators are already prohibited from enabling or disabling components for a LAN connection, regardless of this setting." gpmc_settingname="Prohibit Enabling/Disabling components of a LAN connection" gpmc_settingpath="User

Q: Why does Group created on Master console does not show any device count mapped on the managed Amp?
A: When a group is created on master console it will be pushed to all the managed amp which is added with Manage group configuration enabled. The Group pushed to the managed amp will be created as Global group and you can create subscriber groups for the global group to which you will add the device into since we cannot add any devices into global group directly.
Hence there is no device added to the global group, on the master console it does not show any device count for the groups that are created on master console.Laura Quitugua wrote:
Hi,
I have syced my outlook email with my iphone 4s and ipad.
Note that only the email account info (username, login, server) is sync'd.
The actual emails are not sync'd.
Opening an email on one device does nothing on teh other devices. -
I have my PC on, then plug in my iPad (which is on) and open iTunes. The iPad does not show up in the sidebar. How do you get it to show up so that I can select the iPad and then configure the sync settings in each of the settings panes....hoping that these actually show up.
In the manual it says "log in to your computer user account before connecting iPad". I am the only user of this PC...does this mean some other user account. I am confused. I need "baby steps" to tell me how to do all this....very senior and just learning about this wonderful machine. I will very much appreciate your help.If you are the only user on your computer you probably don't have multiple user accounts set up and can disregard that. If you are using iTunes 11 go to View>Show Sidebar. Now see if your iPad appears under Devices on the left side when you connect it. If it does, click on the name of your iPad on the left side and your iTunes sync settings options will appear in folders with tabbed headings to the right.
If it doesn't appear on the left side, follow the troubleshooting steps shown in this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538. -
I can't sync music already on my computer to my ipod touch; the ipod shows up under Devices in itunes but does not show buttons (Summary etc.) when I click on it. I've read through all the Help tutorials but none of them say what to do if the sync options don't pop up when you highlight the device. I've already spent way too much time trying to figure this out and it's driving me crazy! Thanks for any help you can offer.
This is correct. It will not show in finder. It is not an external storage device.
The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. The only exception is itunes purchases. Open itunes connect ipod, do not sync, click File>Transfer Purchases -
I have an Ipod touch and recently added new music to my Itunes library. When I sync with the library, the new music does not show up on my ipod. The sync process seems to be working and there is still plenty of space on the Ipod for new music so I'm not sure what the problem is!
What happens when you try to sync?
Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

Do you have any Restrictions (Settings>General>Restrictions) set that would prevent syncing those songs? -
I have an iphone 5s and when I make a playlist on itunes for music videos and sync my iphone the playlist does not show up. What can I do to fix the problem?
Version 11.1.5.5 of iTunes was just released today. If you update to that, does that help with the recognition troubles?
