Sync iPhone contacts to Outlook

I downloaded the iCloud control panel and it works great. however I can't figure out how to get teh contacts the way that I need them
On Outlook I have a dozen folders, all sitting under the iCloud group. However only one of the folders says iCloud next to it. this is the only folder that is syncing, the others are not
how can I get all of the folders to sync to iCloud? I don't want to move the contacts into one folder, i have them sorted for a reason
any ideas?

Bi-directional or two way syncing for this data has been available since day one over 5 years ago.

How do I sync iPhone contacts into Outlook 2011 for Mac

Here is the quick situation. I have an iPhone 5s and all of my contacts from my previous company (personal and professional) are on there. My old exchange profile is also there and I am afraid if I delete the profile, I will lose all my contacts. My new company added thier exchange mail but none of my contacts are showing up in Outlook. I followed all the instructions to try and synch the contacts using iTunes but none of the contacts actually show up in iTunes to synch. I even turned off "contacts" in the iCloud settings. Help.

Oh, does it always do that ... on both the iPhone and the Mac? I thought there might be some dependency on what account previously housed the contacts. For example, if the contacts had previously been in an Outlook account, and you turned on iCloud, would that fact migrate the contacts? I've never tried.

Connect your iPhone to the computer, from I tunes screen at the top you can see different tabs, click on info, then choose from that screen from where you will sync contacts, then go down and press sync

I need help syncing my contacts between Outlook and iPhone using iTunes. I used the knowldge document and set it up to transfer my Outlook contacts to the iphone using itunes.
In contacts on the iphone I only see the email addresses.
Yet in Outlook I have email, snail mail and phone numbers.

I did it once, didn't work so deleted all the contacts from the phone and tried again. Same result. I have a PC using Windows 7 64 bit.

You can't access an Exchange account via ActiveSync with the Address Book and iCal on your Mac.
You can access a MM account with Outlook on your PC at work and keep your MM email account server stored mailboxes synced between your PC at work, your iPhone, and the MM "cloud". Not sure about syncing MM contact info and calendar events with Outlook at the same time with an Exchange account.
This will not provide for syncing your Exchange account contact info and calendar events with the Addresss Book and iCal on your Mac because the accounts are separate.
You can access an Exchange account and a MM account at the same time with the iPhone's mail client, and sync contact info and calendar events over the air with both accounts at the same time. You can view combined contact info or separately for each account, and the same for calendar events.

Next time, make sure you have at least one unique contact entry in Outlook...the entry can be fake, doesn't matter, just make sure Outlook is not empty. This will generate a merge or replace prompt...select merge.

When I entered new contacts into Outlook, and sync with iPhone, the contact information does not sync. When I had an earlier version of Outlook, the contact information was sync with my iPhone. But now, it does not work. I made an appointment with the Apple support technician and the technician tried to help but he could not resolve the problem. As indicated by himself, the tech said he was their best tech, and he had not heard of this problem. Instead, he recommended placing all my contact onto iCloud. Again, is there a fix for this problem?

Problems with a calendar sync in Outlook can generally be traced to a corrupt appointment at some time. It can happen from a shutdown in Outlook or any number of other reasons. If you can remember when the trouble began, see if you can locate an appointment on that day. You can also try and reset the sync history in iTunes, and can also run scanpst.exe and troubleshoot your Outlook file.
I've used every version of Outlook since 2000 and have been able to trace this issue a couple of times to an appointment that has a recurring setting. You can change the view of your appointments and list them. When you do that, you may be able to locate an appointment that doesn't look right. I had to print out all of my appointments once and then reenter them. Luckily I didn't have that many, so it didn't matter. Again, this is usually something corrupt in the Outlook file that will make the problem appear, and since everything else in Outlook is syncing except the calendar, that is the place to look.

Make sure you enter at least one unique contact (one that is not on your phone - make up an imaginary friend if necessary) in the Address Book on your Macbook before you sync, and choose the "merge" option when you sync. The contacts on your phone will sync to address book on your Macbook, and your imaginary friend will sync to your phone. You can delete him if you want.

Sync the photos back to the iPad using iTunes. You have to place the photos into a folder from which you sync photos. All photos that you want to sync to the device must be included in the main photos folder and selected to sync each time that you sync.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Photos Tab on the right.
Click on the Sync Photos From heading in order to select it.
Select the photos folder that you want to sync from.
Select all of the albums or photos within the folder that you want to sync.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
