Sync iPhone-Outlook appointment time off -1hr

My Outlook appointments are off by -1 hour... the alarms also. The appointment shows 3:00pm on my Outlook calendar and the same appointment shows 2:00pm on my iPhone. This has always been true although I have updated the phone os and have a new computer with the old Outlook items imported. The computer and the iPhone shows the present correct time. Both are set automatically (the computer for GMT -08:00 which automatically is adjusted for Daylight Savings.) I assume this is the configuration of most computers on the west coast.

  • Outlook appointment time off by one hour

First time posting a new question.  When syncing my BB to desktop Outlook calendar with new appointments by USB cable, the appointment time on the BB is exactly one hour later than when its scheduled in Outlook.  So, an appt for 10:00 am on my desktop shows as 11:00 am on my BB.  Its true whether the appt was entered on my BB or in Outlook calendar.  I currently use Outlook 2007 on my desktop with Windows XP, have BB Curve 8530 Version 5.0 with Verizon and use BB desktop software version 6.1.0.35.  Any thoughts would greatly be appreciated, and keep me from being late AGAIN for appointments.

  • Outlook Calendar Time Off By 1 hour

When I create appointments on my phone and sync with outlook, the timesare off on hour, and vs/vs. The time on tyhe phone is setr to auto. Cant find any settings in ITunes to effect this, nor in Outlook. Thinking its a DST issue but cantsee where to change / set.

    Maybe this will help:
    Page 76 iphone manual:
"Set iPhone to adjust event times for a selected time zone:
1 In Settings, choose General > Date & Time.
2 Turn Time Zone Support on.
3 Tap Time Zone and search for a major city in the time zone you want.
When Time Zone Support is on, Calendar displays event dates and times in the time
zone of the city you selected. When Time Zone Support is off, Calendar displays events
in the time zone of your current location as determined by the network time. "

Other wise, you may need to do something in Outlook.

Hello Snosilla! I'm so sorry for all the confusion and for all the time taken to activate service with us! I do see that the iPhone 5c is $99.99 right now. The iPhone 5s is actually $199.99. There's no need to call Pam anymore, we can take over from here.

Fed up of the glithcy iTunes match on iphone, so turned it off and so I could sync music from itunes, but after i turn itunes match off, itunes no longers recognises my iphone and says it is a new device and needs restoring? Turn itunes match back on and it fine with itunes? Guess it's another bug with itunes match! Hope they sort it out soon!

You could try to follow iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for OS X or reset the sync services OS X: Resetting Sync Services.

  • IPhone Calendar Appointment time syncing issue

I have noticed lately that appointments I enter into my iCal on my Desktop when synced with my iPhone are showing up an hour later. For example: If I made an appointment from 9AM to 10AM it will (when synced) show up on my iPhone 10AM to 11AM. I am not sure if it has to do with the latest iPhone update (1.1.3) or with Leopard. Has anyone had this issue? Any thoughts on how to resolve it? Thanks.

One thing to check out is on your iphone go to settings > general > date and time.
In date and time, make sure your time zone is set correctly.
If the time zone is set correctly, turn time zone support off.
Then make sure your date and time is set correctly.
Power off the iphone by holding down the power button on the top of the iphone until you see the slide to power off.
Now power the iphone back on.
Connect the iphone to the computer and sync.
    Hope this helps.

  • Can i sync iphone pics to time capsule?

Can I Sync "automatiacally" my iPhone pice to my newest version of the time capsule?

Let's try a different tack. Try and see if you can get the Mac to go into Target Disk Mode ( http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1661 ) by holding down the T key prior to the startup chime. If a Firewire icon pops up on the screen, you're all set. Turn the Mac off and abstain from using it if possible. While the new MBP arrives, go and purchase an appropriate Firewire cable. If the dying MBP has a Firewire 800 port, by all means get an FW800 to FW800 cable as this is the fastest option. Else get a FW400 to FW800 converter cable. When it arrives, plug the two Macs together with the cable, start up the old one in Target Disk Mode, then start up the new one.
Setup Assistant will kick in automatically in this first start. After a few questions, it will offer to migrate from a previous Mac ( http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4889 ). Choose yes and select the target disk option. This will pull all your stuff from the dying Mac: files, settings and apps. Note that Lion doesn't do PPC apps anymore, so those legacy apps will be crossed out.

  • Is it possible to sync iphone outlook instead of outlook iphone?

Hello, Im having a really bad time with this calendar thingy, so Im gonna give you a lil bit of background on my issue, one day my iTunes crashed, and that was it, I lost all the settings, I still have the files, but settings were gone, so all my calendar and contact info are stored on my iPhone and I have been using the iPhone as an "outlook" so if I sync my iPhones with a blank iTunes library (yes It opens now, dont ask me why), im gonna lose all the info on my iPhone and I cannot afford that... so is there a way to sync backwards??? from my iPhone to my Outlook??? thx!!

There is no such option included with Outlook.
Under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, you select Outlook under Contacts and Calendars to sync your iPhone's contacts and calendar events with Outlook.
As already provided, if Outlook does not include any contact info or calendar events, enter one unique contact and one unique calendar event in Outlook before syncing your contact info and calendar events. Make these up if needed, which can be deleted later.
This will provide a merge prompt when syncing your iPhone's contact info and calendar events with Outlook, which you want to select. This will transfer your iPhone's contact info and calendar events to Outlook with the first sync. After the initial transfer, your iPhone's contact info and calendar events will be kept synchronized with Outlook.

  • How to Sync iPhone/iPad with Time Capsule (wirelessly)

Hi - I am wondering if there is way to sync my iPhone or iDevices with Time Capsule wirelessly.  Please let me know if there is and how?
    Thanks in advance..

The iOS devices....iPhones, iPads, iPods, etc.....sync to iTunes on your computer or to iCloud.
    See this Apple support document:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766
It is not possible to sync iOS devices directly to the Time Capsule.

  • Ipad/iphone shifts calendar times +1hr after syncing with Outlook or ical

    Hi,
I am having a problem when I sync my (PC) outlook calendar to my iphone(OS4.1) or ipad.(And my wife is having exactly the same problem when she syncs her iphone/ipad with her macbook pro (she uses ical/snow leopard)).
I live in a time zone that is GMT +3hrs. There is no summer time change here. Both devices are set to GMT +3Hrs with no summer time changes / daylight savings.
Every month I upload a calendar electronically to Outlook (from a program called Roster2Outlook) and occasionally enter some data into it manually on my PC and on my iphone/ipad.
    The problem is this:-
When I sync my PC with my iphone/ipad the times on the iphone/ipad are always 1 hour later than displayed on my calendar in outlook on my PC. I then have to modify the times on my iphone and take off 1hour. If I enter an event on my iphone it appears in my calendar in Outlook 1 hour earlier (after a sync).
I get several monthly changes to my schedule and then when I update my outlook calender and sync it to my iphone again, all the times appear 1Hr later on my iphone and have to be manually adjusted.
This may seem trivial, but when one event is added on one device and it shows up at a different time on another device, it gets very confussing, as you never know which time is correct in your calendar, as it depends on which device you entered it and whether you synced it or not! I am tearing my hair out.
I also sync my calandar to my ipad, which appears to be doing the same thing.
So, to cut a long story short, any idea's why this is happening and how to fix it? (Please don't tell me I have the wrong time zone set on a device - because I haven't - they are all on the same time zone!)
I did have an idea that I could "shift" the calendar that I electronically upload to Outlook back by 1 Hour, so that the times would be 1Hr wrong in outlook but correct on my iphone and ipad (the devices that I predominantly use) but this still doesn't solve the problem of it being a bodge!
Any ideas / solutions much appreciated. Anyone else having this problem?
    Please help!
    Cheers,
    i eye.

I figured out my iPad sync issue. First of all, I swore up and down I had all my time zone preferences set correctly in both google calendar and on my iPad. I was wrong.
There are two places in google calendar that can cause an issue:
    (1) Settings>Calendar Settings>General
    (2) Settings>Calendar Settings>Calendars>[Individual Calendar]
There are two places on the iPad to check:
    (1) Settings>General>Date & Time (however I think this might not do anything because.....)
    (2) Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Calendars>Time Zone Support (this was the elusive one for me)
But It's fixed now and I'm happy.

  • Why is it when you set a calender event in outlook 2010 (in UK) with a reminder alarm for 30mins prior) and have the iphone set to keep the appointment time relative to the local country time that you travelled to, the alarm time is still at uk time ?????

why is it when you set a calendar event in outlook 2010 (whilst i am in UK) with a reminder alarm for 30mins prior to the appointment time) and have the iPhone set to keep the appointment time relative to the new country time that i have travelled to (this works OK), the alarm time is still relative to the UK time and not in sync with the local country time like the main appointment is.
Does anyone know the answer please.

This has to do with the Time Zone Support selected in your phone. If you check in Settings>Mail, Contact, Calendars, there is a setting for Time Zone Support at the bottom of the page under Calendars. If that is turned to off, the calendar should support the local time. Because time is set to Automatic (since you say the time is correct on the iPhone), it is reflecting the local time. That information comes from the carrier, not the iPhone itself. You can check, however the iPhone says that if you turn off the Time Zone support, it should reflect in the local time. Do a test, if possible,  and see if that will do what you are asking.

  • Can't sync new contacts from Outlook to iphone 6.  Turned off all add-ns and still will not update.

Did the suggestion on the Apple site for contacts.  When I do the sync I can see the new contact in my contact list then it goes away when the sync finishes.

    @ Laurent P.
    Some things to try.
Reset Sync History. To do this on a Mac, open iSync in your Applications folder. Once open, click the iSync menu and choose Preferences. Small window opens with a Reset Sync History button. Does not delete any data, just don't expect your next sync to be super quick.
Also, under the Info tab in iTunes, choose the Advanced option of replacing everything on the iPhone with what is on the computer. If it works, be sure to uncheck that setting. I think it is a one time check only thing, but be sure.
    Wait...
I just noticed you said MobileMe...if you use MobileMe to sync your stuff, flip Contacts Off then back On. If that doesn't work, delete the MobileMe account on the iPhone and re-add it.
Otherwise, try a hard reset (both buttons for about 10 sec. ignore slide to power off), and reset network settings.
Also, does the Mac contacts show up in MobileMe? If they don't, go to System Preferences > MobileMe > Sync tab and check your settings. Perform a sync too. Under the Advanced button you can Reset Sync Data and choose to replace MobileMe stuff with stuff on your computer or vice versa.

  • HT1245 When I enter an appointment in ical on the macbook it syncs as a different time on my iPhone?

When I enter an appointment in ical on the macbook it syncs as a different time on my iPhone?

If you want to sync calendar events over the air with your Google calendar and when creating a new event on the iPhone it will be created and synced with your Google calendar automatically, you need to select your Google calendar as your default calendar, not your iCloud account calendar.

  • How do I remove one of the calendars from iCloud but keep it on the iPhone to sync with Outlook by USB and keep the other calendars synced on iCloud ?

iPhone 5, Macs and iPads at home, Windoze7 system at work.
Using iCloud to sync calendars, contacts, etc on all the home devices.  Used USB cable to sync at work with the Windows system, with the Outlook 2010 corporate account (corporate server).  I need only the Outlook calendar to be synced, syncing the contacts created too many problems with duplication, etc.  No need for that.  Worked fine until the latest upgrate to iOS7 and iTunes 11.1.  Used to have a calendar that was not on iCloud and was simply and exclusively syncing between the iPhone and the Windows computer at work. The other 3 calendars synced fine with the macs and iOS devices via iCloud but not with the machine at work - keeping private records private.
Upon the iOS upgrade, all calendars are now on iCloud.  I am no longer able to remove one - for security too - from the iCloud and sync it with the Windows computer exclusively.  I managed to sync it once on the PC with iTunes by switching iCloud off on the iPhone before connection by USB cable.  Trying it again, it tells me that it will erase all items on the Outlook account (the "more than 25% of your records are going to change" alert) and won't add or modify any.  I stopped the sync in time...
Tried on the iCloud site for a solution to remove the calendar, nothing.
There is no iCloud setup on this corporate computer - no access permitted. The USB cable connection is the only solution and up to the upgrade of the iOS this went seamlessly.
    Any solution out there?
    Thanks
    Vladski

I share a similar situation (usb iTunes sync with Outlook with my corporate laptop; personal calendar on icloud).
With IOS7, at first, iTunes/Windows does not propose Outlook sync anymore. I need to switch off calendar from iTunes to enable usual usb sync with Outlook. I had to sync it twice while checking "replace iphone data" to get a stable behaviour (like before) IOS7.When I try to re-enable icloud calendars, it proposes me to merge them...
I did not test merging so far...
IOS7 and iTunes 11.1 are not completely polished ;-)

  • Calendar sync time off by one hour

When I sync my BB Curve 8530, version 5.0, by Verizon with Outlook 2007 calendar, the appointment time is off by one hour.  The BB Curve always shows the appt time one hour later than Outlook.  When I schedule an all day event, it begins at 1 am and carries over to the next day at 1 am.  I've verified time zone settings for both.  Not sure what else to do or check.  Any advice is greatly appreciated so I won't be late again!!!
