Sync iPhone using MeMobile on a mac with OS X (10.4.11)?

My mac has OS X (10.4.11), but in the system preferences it does not have MobileMe. What do I do!? I lost all of my contacts and my calendar thinking I could use MeMobile.

this is true. there are many issues however. the biggest is the autosync does not happen regularly even though it is set for automatic which should be in 15 min intervals. it seems to auto sync completely randomly. sometimes 15, 30, 40, hours. also some data goes trough and some does not, also random. from what i hear, 10.5.5 users have no issues. does apple expect me to spend more money to make their product work?

Does your Mac have ThunderBolt ports?
There are ThunderBolt to FireWire adapters.
As far as I know there are no FireWire to USB 3 adapters.

How do I use Back to My Mac with a new Time Capsule if I don't have a MobileMe account?

I just got a new time capsule and I'm trying to set it up so that I can remotely access the files when I'm at work/on the go etc. Now I have an iCloud account, but I don't have a MobileMe account. I do have an @me.com address because I enabled Mail thru the iCloud pref pane and I setup the @me.com email address but I'm still not able to use back to my mac.
I am running the latest fully updated version of lion on the latest model air, working with a 2TB 4th gen time capsule

Sync iPhone using .Mac

My laptop is being repaired by Apple and there is no known date when it will be repaired. My desktop does not have USB 2.0. I would like to sync my iCal and Contacts with my iPhone. How do I do that if I use a Mac (Tiger OS) that is not mine to sync my iPhone? Is this possible? Thank you!

Thank you for your feedback. I kept getting an error message when I tried to sync using my G4 Tower that has USB 1. An Apple tech research the message and concluded that sync'ing will not work with that Mac.
However, I have had success using another Mac that has USB 2.0. Since I am administrator for my son's iMac, I used my admin account on his computer and set up the .Mac sync. It worked! Once .Mac downloaded everything it could into the iMac, I was able to connect the iPhone and sync my calendar, email accounts, Safari bookmarks, and contacts. As an added bonus, since I share my music with his computer (hoping good taste in music will rub off:-), I was also able to download some of my music stored on the G4 Tower into the iPhone. (The 2 Macs are connected via Airport.)
So, I'm a happy camper! Thanks again!

Sync Photoshop Elements 12 to iPhone Using iTunes on a Mac

Just moved from a PC to a iMac. When I try to sync my photos to my iPhone using iTunes I cannot find a drop down item for PE12 as the photo source, only iPhoto. PE12 as a drop down selection was available in iTunes on my PC, but not on the Mac. Is there any way to get iTunes to allow me to sync my iPhone to PE12 or has apple specifically disallowed this action? I understand I can just select the folder containing the photos, but then every photo in an edited stack will be synced instead of just the final edited photo.

I have two Macs, connected through WLAN. From each Mac I can use Mail (sending and receiving) with the same mail address. This worked well; on each Mac I have separate files storing the mails (input, sent, trash, …).
Some days ago I had to change the provider. (Perhaps this may be the reason for my problem?) Now both mail systems are connected - in the way that if I put on Mac *1 a mail into the trash it is automatically thrown into the trash on Mac *2.
What is to be done to separate the two systems (i. e. make them independent of each other)?

It looks like you are using a IMAP mail account, a protocol used by most email providers nowadays. Read -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Message_Access_Protocol

Not being able to sync iphone to more than one mac!

I understand all the legal implications.... file sharing of music, videos,,,yada yada.... But, I have a G4 MDD at home and a G5 2X2.0 at the studio. I want to be able to sync my iphone to BOTH macs. I am a studio engineer, and when I am mixing I like to put my work in progress on my ipod/iphone to I can listen to it on the go. I dont want to lug around my old ipod just for this. I could sync my ipod to multiple macs, but not the iphone.
Does anyone know of a 3rd party app that will let me do this?

Syncing iPhone to both MobileMe *and* Mac w/ merged data

I'm almost sure I've gotten this working before, but for the life of me, I can't seem to figure it out now. I want to sync my contacts and calendar to both my MobileMe account and my computer (which also syncs to my MobileMe account) without having two sets of contacts and calendar items on my iPhone. I want to do this because most of the time I use my iPhone in an always-connected mode (via either 3G or WiFi), so sync from my iPhone to MobileMe for additions and changes works great (and syncs down to my Mac without having to connect my iPhone), but I also often travel internationally where my iPhone is offline for long periods of time, so sync via a cable to my Mac is the only way I sync up contacts and calendar. I don't want two completely separate sets of contacts and calendar items on my iPhone, I want them merged as one but still synced to both MobileMe and my Mac through iTunes.
Possible? If so, what are the steps to make it work?

My conact list has 3700 now. My contact in mac book size is 4MB.
Before, I used with icloud. It happended double or triple my contacts and it became a hugh file size and I deleted many same contacts.
At that time, I was afraid to use icloud.
Now, I can't synchronize my contacts in itunes with my iphone5. IOS Maverick only allows my contacts to use with icloud.
Can anyone know if I can use my big contact list with icloud without happening double or triple to be able to use with any devices of my same icloud id name?

If your phone is locked to AT&T in the USA, then only AT&T in the USA can unlock it - you will need to contact them about it.

Note that requesting and processing an unlock throught AT&T is the ONLY way to officially and permanently unlock your phone.

I have the serial number for this but it won't let me install properly as it thinks im upgrading but I wish to run cs3 for a special project. Can you help?

Open the presentations in iWork '09, "Duplicate", then "Save". In the dialog box, towards the bottom, check "Save a copy as.." and choose "iWork '08" from the pull down menu. That should give a copy that you can take to the church Mac.
Unfortunately I don't have iWork '08 available to check this so I can't guarantee that it will work!

Copy everything from your old computer to your new one then sync.
Iphone will sync with one library/computer at a time. Syncing to another will indeed erase the current content.
