Sync iPhone with Bluetooth doesn't work with me.

I have try to sync my bluetooth with my computer, and I just can make it work, I know I have to turn on my iphone's bluetooth and have it discoverable, I have done that and still not working, my macbook founds it but if I try to send something it said that the devicer is not connected, while my iphone still just searching for bluetooth devicers or compu, phone, etc.
How do I fix this?

It is not supposed to work. Syncing via bluetooth is not a supported feature, you have to use a USB cable. (you really wouldn't want to wait for bluetooth anyway, it is horribly slow for transferring multi-gigs of data)

  • IPhone 5 Bluetooth Audio not working with stock Toyota radio

I have a 2010 Toyota 4Runner Limited which has the premimum JBL radio in it.  Up until recently, I have had an iPhone 4 which worked well with both hands free phone features, along with Bluetooth Audio so I can stream my music from iTunes or Amazon Cloud Players.  I dont use the feature all the time, so I am not sure when it stopped working (after upgrading to IOS6 or upgrading to an iPhone 5) but bluetooth audio no longer works.  I can still use the bluetooth phone features, but if I go to the bluetooth music tab on my stereo, it states that the portable player is not connected. Siri also works fine through bluetooth, as it it can read my text messages, ask and answer questions through the car stereo, though I cannot make an outgoing call with Siri because after it shuts off siri and starts to dial, my stereo disconnects.
I know Apple updated the bluetooth, but you would think the new version would be backwards compatible, right?  Is there a plan from Apple to fix this, because I am sure Toyota isnt going to update the firmware on their stereos just to fix an issue with one phone...

Actually, as an update, mine is now working (the BlueTooth Audio part, Siri still cannot place calls).
I have done this on my first (now smashed) iPhone 5 and my new iPhone 5.  It takes a lot of trial and error, but you can get it to work.
First thing is with the iPhone 4, all I had to do was connect the phone in the phone connect screen and it just worked for both.  Not so with the 5.  With the 5, I have to register it both in the Audo Settings> Bluetooth Audio Settings menus as well as the phone settings on the radio.  I didnt know there were two different connections with two different pins.  (0000 and 1212).  I forget which one you have to connect first, but again, I tried it so many times both installs and it eventually worked.  It may be easier to change the name of either the Phone or Bluetooh Audio name from Car Multimedia, so the iPhone can easily connect to one or the other, but I left them both with the same name.  I can now play music, and when the phone rings, automatically swaps over to that one.
Play with it and you will get it to work.  If I have time, i will remove it and do it again and write down the steps.

  • Iphone 5 bluetooth is not working with my macbook

can somebody help me? my iphone 5 is not working when i try to use it with my mackbook.

What are you trying to do? The only thing you can pair your bluetooth for is to tether from your phone to your macbook. You cannot do anything else with bluetooth.

  • IPhone 4s bluetooth won't work with Clarion FZ709

Actually the issue is that the iOS5 won't work with the Clarion FZ709 - it sees it and then immediately drops. I've reset the Clarion, reset the iPhone, same thing - it can discover it, then it loses it seconds later. Of course, dropping the version back to 4 isn't going to work for my iPhone, since it's new. I guess I could use my 3GS again, but I'm spoiled now with the features of the new phone.
A brief search discovered this issue was mentioned here months ago - will there be any update to address this? It's apparently causing issues for many other manufacturers and OEM stereos too.

Same problem with my Clarion FZ 709 after upgrading to iOS 5. Before this upgrade all works fine. Its no problem with the new iPhone 4s, its a problem with iOS 5. I could re-produce this problem with the new 4s and the older iPhone 4. Both are running iOS 5 and are still not longer able to connect via Bluetooth. After initial pairing the connection get broken after a few seconds. Yesterday i have upgraded both devices to 5.0.1 but the problem is still not fixed. From Clarion i got the feedback that they are not able to fix this issue because it seems that the problem depends on a change by Apple done within the new iOS. So hopefully Apple will recognize this problem and deliver a bug fix within the next iOS upgrade.

  • HT4528 iphone 4 charger doesn't work with iphone 5

I bought an iPhone 5 recently and discovered I cannot charge it using the iPhone 4 USB charger. I plug the Lightning cable into the new Apple USB charger that came with the 5 and it works. I plug it into my older 4 Apple USB charger (that looks 100% identical) and it doesn't work. iPhone 4 works on both.
    What the heck?

Check the output on both chargers and see if there is a difference.

  • IPhone 2.0 doesn't work with my exchange server

My tech support guys have been working on my iPhone for an entire day and couldn't get it to work with the server. They are telling me that the phone isn't compatible with the exchange server and it would require an entire overhaul of our server and reconfiguration to get it to work. I thought the new iPhone was supposed to be so easy to use. I am so ready to ditch my blackberry and so very disappointed that I can't get the iPhone to work with our server. Macintosh support was completely useless to help figure out this problem- as they said they don't offer support to third party software- yet this phone is supposed to work with the Microsoft Exchange Server?! Can anyone offer any help?
Below is the explanation my tech support gave me:
I wanted to reach out to you to update you with your iPhone working on the peacock exchange. After spending considerable time with both AT&T and Macintosh, getting the phone to operate with exchange as easy as Macintosh advertises, has ended in a failure. Your phone device itself, is properly updated and has all the correct settings. Where the problem lies for you is on the Microsoft server end. This is where the server will have to have additional software and updates installed which would effect and change the peacock network environment. This can be potentially accomplished, however it will need to be evaluated for the additional costs and potential risks to the server and environment. That’s why BlackBerry is so popular with business networks, because it does not affect the Microsoft Exchange mail services in any shape or form. Blackberry runs on its own server service which acts as the bridge to communicate with the Microsoft service.
AT&T was very helpful and tried everything they could to aid us. Macintosh on the other hand, was not very helpful. After a few unsuccessful attempts, Macintosh just came out and said that they do not support 3rd party software (i.e Microsoft Products). You can give Macintosh a try, and see if you end with better results.

Actually Blackberry has two options, one where they pull from your server and then push it to your phone as described. Alternatively you can install their software on your server to relay. Both require additional services, software and fees. Instead the iPhone uses the ActiveSync included in the Exchange server, which is the same protocol used to communicate with Windows Mobile based devices.

Essentially Apple does not configure Microsoft Exchange for your admins. We do provide a list of what versions of ActiveSync and which ActiveSync features we support. However, ActiveSync is part of the Microsoft Exchange server maintained and configured by your Exchange server admins.
    Hope this helps,

  • Why iPhone 3G Dock doesn't work with audio cable?

Hi, I'm Italian. I apologize for the mistakes, but I just learned English!
I will try to explain you my problem. I bought an audio-video cable for iPhone to link it at my stereo and to get better the HiFi System, I decided to buy an iPhone 3G or 3GS dock (my iPhone is a 3G one). But, when I  linked all, the iPhone works with its speakers. Is possible to get working the iPhone like this:
    iPhone > audio/video cable > stereo
    with these links:
    iPhone > dock > audio/video cable > stereo
    Thank for your help.
P.S. The products are all original, they're these:

Have you downloaded the Remote App? Wouldn't it be better for your iPhone's battery life to just let iTunes play the music over AirTunes? I'm kind of confused as to what you're trying to do.

  • IPhone 4 bluetooth doesn't work

I have an iPhone 4. A couple weeks ago the Bluetooth function stopped working. When I click on the bluetooth function, only the rotating disk appears, I can not turn on or turn off the bluetooth. I tried everything, restart, restore, restore from recovery mode, put it in plaine mode, resore network propertys. Can anyone help.

  • My iPhone 4S'sSiri doesn't work with my Toyota 4Runner's Bluetooth .

From reading posts on this site I can see that I'm not alone. It seems to be common to Toyotas. Can I assume that since Siri is in its beta version can I assume this kink will be worked out?

    it's a hardware issue

  • Bluetooth doesn't work with my car

    Hi,
I can't pair my Iphone 5 with my car (a Ford Escape). I'm  reading about this issue, many people have had the same problem.
can you help me,  is there a solution?

Is anyone else suffering bluetooth issues with ISO8? Ever since I've installed ISO8 (and its updates) onto my 4s, I can no longer make or receive calls via my cars bluetooth! When it connects it either says the phone has no signal (when it does) or it tries and calls the last person it dialled via the car, without actually working in the car. The person it's dialling gets a call but we can't hear each other which is annoying that person too as you can imagine!! It all worked fine before ISO8!! Come on Apple, sort this out!!

  • Sync Outlook Calendar with iPod doesn't work with iTunes 7?

Ever since I've upgraded to iTunes 7, when I try to sync my Outlook Calendar with my iPod - either Outlook crashes or it says it's doing it, but the calendar on my iPod is now blank even when I have things scheduled on my calendar.
Is there any fix or work around for this? Is anyone aware of this problem?

This is meant with a bit of humor in the first part of my response to illustrate why polls asking for people not having a problem can be inaccurate here. Then I will get into some suggestions that are more techical in nature.
If you walk to the waiting room at your local hospital's emergency room, and ask is there anybody here who is waiting to see the Doctors who is not sick or injured, please speak up. If everything was working, would you be here to post?
If you turn off Outlook Syncing, and turn it back on, do you get the Windows security screen? It might pop up under the iTunes 7 window. There is a screenshot of the window I am referring to here:

  • S11 flex Bluetooth doesn't work with IOS 7

Unit connects but sound plays through iPhone or iPad. S11 is not available (even though connected) in Airplay Listing. If I hold down  mute button SIRI come on through head set. If I tell SIRI to play play list the playlist plays but music still plays through speakers on iPhone

I reset my Motorola S11 Flex to factory settings and it works just fine now. To do that, make sure the head phones are off. Press the power button and multi-function button and the lady in the head phones will talk to you..the first option is to reset to factory settings. Do this and it will work. Hoped this helped
