    Go back to the article you asked this question from and use the link to contact the iTunes Store staff in the 'Additional Information' section. If you don't already have a valid rescue email address, you can't reset the questions yourself, and nobody on these boards can reset them for you.
    Setting up a rescue email address requires correctly answering two of the questions.

  • I can't access my sync account. It rejects the password. I change the password so that computer #2 can logon - now computer #1 can't logon. This not a fun game!

    1) Set up Notebook with new sync account. Worked great!
    2) Installed Sync on Desktop. Selected existing sync account. Password was rejected. Reset password on notebook. (waited a day) Password was rejected. Reset password on Desktop - it was accepted.
    3) Notebook is now unable to connect to sync account - password rejected. rejected "new" password as well. Notebook wants me to enter a new password! What's the deal? I have another notebook to add Sync to - but there's no point until I can get 1&2 up.

    You will need to contact the customer services for the email service that was hacked and try to convince them that your account has been hacked.
    There are a number of ways that they get access to the password. One of the most common is by phishing, you are presented with a bogus site that looks like the login page for the email service/site and you enter your login details. This is frequently done by sending an email to you saying that you need to log into the site or need to confirm your details.
    To makes sure that your computer is not infected with malware, try running several malware scanners. It is best to run several as each will pick up things that the others miss. Some scanners you can try are:

  • Forgot password - Email address changed

    Hi,
    I lost my password, and when I went to the "forgotten password" section I get a message telling me that a mail will be sent to the email address that was used to create the account.  Now, that email address was a previous work address, so I dont have access to it.  is there any other way of reseting my password?

    I believe part of the recovery process is you get an e-mail allowing you to reset questions.  If that e-mail isn't correct either because your son set it up then you really have no option but to ask Apple again.  They are getting strict abotu security and given the number of "My iTunes account got hacked" posts here I can guess why.  They have no way of knowing you really are the owner of the account.  It's like me going to a policeman and saying, "See that car over there?  That is mine, can you open the door for me?" and the police opening it on that basis alone.

    Here is an article that will walk you through some troubleshooting steps for this issue.  Start with the attached section in the article below.
    Tip: If you see a sheet or dialog that states 'Enter the password for user "email address'", this indicates that the email service provider is having an issue with the password being sent by Mail, or there is an issue with the email account. Contact the email service provider for support. ChooseWindow > Connection Doctor click "Show Detail" then click "Check Again". The information displayed in the "Show Detail" drawer may include details from the email service provider about what the issue is. Look for headers that start with "[ALERT]".

    If your rescue email is not working and you cannot remember even one answer, then you only have one option - call Apple.

  • Tell a friend isn't sending out the email

    When I click on Tell a Friend to inform them of a piece of music, podcast,etc., it says it sent the email, but it isn't sending them. Anyone know why?

    No it didn't work form me. I tried a couple of different email addresses in case they getting into a spam filter.
    A couple of other times I got a not working message, please try later.
    I guess there is a fault with the feature. It's not something I have ever bothered with myself.

  • Secure Zone password set (send log in details email) link not working for everyone

    Hi Guys,
    I have a site with three secure zones for different online programs. We're beginning to sell some programs and, because we aren't using a seemless gateway, we are manually subscribing them to the secure zones then clicking the 'Send log in details email' button. The email seems to be going out which is good. But, some clients can't click on the link to set their password. Nothing happens. Even if they copy and paste the link text into a browser window, still nothing.
    Anybody know why this would be working for some people and not others. Could it be to do with cookies or email clients etc. We are at a loss and therefore have lost two sales so far (they asked for refunds) because they couldn't access their programs in the secure zone.
    Any help greatly appreciated.

    The thing is, most of the time the link text appears as a link, but not for everyone. Do you think this will fix it?
