Sync issues after iOS 8 update

Hi,
I have an iPhone 5S, 64 GB. After updating to iOS8 I got sync issues. "Waiting for changes to be applied" never disappeared. Also the storage usage in iTunes 11.4 is wrong. iTunes said I had 6GB free, when I had in fact 20GB. I restored the phone back to firmware, restored the backup. All was fine until I made setting changes in iTunes what I want to sync. The same issue in iTunes is back again. I already deleted my voice memos as someone recommended in another threat but that didn't help.
Any ideas how I can solve the problem, would be appreciated. Thank you!

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
          SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
          View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then take one of the actions that you're having trouble with. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

    I went to sync my ipod today, it told me it needed to update so i let it, once that update was done i noticed that it had removed all of my music from my ipod, annoying but didnt matter because i was just going to leave it to sync all 3207 songs from my pc to the ipod. Clicked on sync on Itunes, and the bar at the bottom doesnt show any music. After telling it to sync all the music and temporarliy have the music show up in the bar bellow, it still failed to sync music. Getting increasingly annoyed about this as every update to IOS or Itunes mucks everything up

    I am currently an owner of an Ipod Touch 4th generation. I see you are having problems with your Ipod Touch, so I will try to find a solution to your problem.
    Hard Reset: Hold down the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10sec. or until Apple logo appears
    Have the latest Version of Itunes
    Restart the Computer
    Any error messages appear?

  • Music syncing issue after latest update

    I'm having issues syncing my music on my iPhone 4 after this latest security update. Some of the files seem to be "stuck" on the phone. They won't remove, others just won't play, I can't add anything to the phone. Etc. SOS!!!

    Have you tried re-installing the firmware through Nokia Suite? Remember to backup all your phone contents when prompted by Nokia Suite.

  • Time sync issues after windows update

    Hi,
    After running a windows update on VM PDC controller server can't syncronize time with online pool (update took approx 10 minutes). Event log is showing error ID 50 (The time service detected a time difference of greater than 5000 milliseconds for 900 seconds)
    and time is off for 10 minutes which causes problems with Exchange and Lync services.
    According to event log there has been 4 succesful connections with NTP servers before event 50 appeared on log:
    The time service is now synchronizing the system time with the time source 1.uk.pool.ntp.org,0x1 (ntp.m|0x1|0.0.0.0:123->178.79.191.28:123).
    The time provider NtpClient is currently receiving valid time data from 2.uk.pool.ntp.org,0x1 (ntp.m|0x1|0.0.0.0:123->87.117.251.45:123).
    The time provider NtpClient is currently receiving valid time data from 3.uk.pool.ntp.org,0x1 (ntp.m|0x1|0.0.0.0:123->178.79.160.57:123).

    Server is not taking time from bare metal as it's running on Hyper-V and it seems that it's not syncing during startup correctly. Is there a possibility that there can be a config issue as it's working fine when reboot doesn't take too long?

    1. For sure, there in VM settings you have time synchronization from host unchecked.
    2. Network monitor will reveal what happens when you stop annd start Windown Time service and Systém Event log contains relevant data.

  • Safari issues after IOS update

    After updating the IOS, I cannot select the number of tickets at ticketmaster.    I have also noticed that on other websites such as Fine Cooking I cannot select ingredients from the drop drown menu.  Before the update I could select the number off tickets on the ticketmaster site and Incould select ingredients from the Fine Cooking site.  What is the fix for this issue?

    I don't get why something as advanced as safari is being beaten by something like opera.
    As if the lack of flash wasn't enough, now this, as well as a lot of java things that don't work.
    Poor show Apple!

  • Syncing issues after new update 4.3.5

    I updated and synced my iphone to my computer last night and when I went to use my ipod toady it said you need to sync iphone to computer to play ipod.  When I did this it wont sync saying my device wont connect with the computer (error oxE8000001) I managed to get onto a screen that told me to restore the iphone to factory settings and when i clicked this it said it couldn't do it.  I updated and restarted the computer and restarted my iphone.  I dont know what to do now can anyone help.

    That is a new "feature" described in Connect your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch using Continuity
    You can turn it off by going to Settings > FaceTime and changing "iPhone Cellular Calls" to off

  • Can't connect to wifi after IOS update.  Do you know a solution?

    Loaded the new update and now it is sporatic connections with the wi fi.  I have unplugged the router and all that, still no luck.  It will work normally very briefly, but only briefly after I unplug the router, etc.
    Do any of you have a solution to fix this?

    by "using itunes to remove the photos" do you mean syncing an empty folder?
    No. With your phone connected, itunes running, just un-check all the photos/albums, currently on your phone, under the photos tab in itunes. Hit the apply/sync button. This will remove all the photos currently synced to your phone. Once complete, just sync them back.

    Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
    You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

    Cannot activate iMessage after iOS update. "Activation unsuccessful" I cannot activate it.

    Have you updated your iOS to 5.1? Just confirming as it says "iPhone 4S, iOS 5.0.1" in your thread.
    Double check if you have credit in your mobile in order to activate iMessage.
    Turn iMessage off and on again, than turn off your phone (long press display off and on button) and slide to turn off. Turn your phone back on, enter your "Apple I.D" in the iMessage window and wait till it verifies everything.
    Tell us if it solves the issue.

    Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities. 
    Here are some troubleshooting steps that I would recommend going through when experiencing this issue.  They are labeled for the iPhone; however, the steps also apply to your iPad.  Also, make sure to test the camera in well lighted conditions as this can affect picture quality. 
    Camera isn't functioning or has undesired image quality
    If the screen shows a closed lens or black image, force quit the Camera app.
    If you do not see the Camera app on the Home screen, try searching for it in Spotlight. If the camera does not show up in the search, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tappingSettings > General > Restrictions.
    Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from any obstructions. Use a microfiber polishing cloth to clean the lens.
    Cases can interfere with the camera and the flash. Try gently cleaning the lens with a clean dry cloth or removing the case if you see image or color-quality issues with photos.
    Try turning iPhone off and then back on.
    Tap to focus the camera on the subject. The image may pulse or briefly go in and out of focus as it adjusts.
    Try to remain steady while focusing:
    Still images: Remain steady while taking the picture. If you move too far in any direction, the camera automatically refocuses to the center.
    Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation.
    Video: Adjust focus before you begin recording. You can also tap to readjust focus while recording. Exiting the Camera application while recording will stop recording and will save the video to the Camera Roll.
    Note: Video-recording features are not available on original iPhone or iPhone 3G.
