Sync items purchased on iPhone and on Mac

I download apps and other items on both iPhone and MacBook Pro. But, when I do a routine iPhone Sync, iTunes wants to delete the iPhone items not in iTunes on the MBP. This one-way sync has always given me a headache so I don't sync as often as I should. What can I do to have both the items I purchase on the iPhone sync with the items I purchase on the Mac?

File>Devices>Transfer Purchases from "iPhone" and then sync.

I am sure I am not the only person that has this problem but I couldn't find any other people on here describing the same issue.
Basically what happens is I will buy something on my iPhone 3GS (video, music, ringtone) and when I go to sync it up in iTunes it will sync up and the playlist "Purchased on Mike's iPhone" will be checked and during the sync it will start adding everything from that list even though I never checked it at all.
I noticed this on more than one occasion and I always have to go in and uncheck the list and re-sync to get rid of the stuff. This happens every time I purchase something on the handset and then sync it with iTunes.
Is there any reason this keeps happening? Any way to permanently disable it without deleting the list?

Open itunes and at the top, click on store and choose Deauthorize computer.
An alert will come up asking for your user name and password.
Once the computer is deauthorized, click on store again at the top of itunes and choose Authorize computer.
Once again the alert will come up asking for your user name and password for your itunes store account.
Once the computer has been authorized, connect the iphone.
When the iphone is connected, click on file at the top of itunes and choose transfer purchases from...
This should check your iphone and transfer any purchases that you have on the iphone into your itunes library.

It sounds like you want to sync calendar events between your iPhone and iPad (3rd gen). I would recommend using iCloud, which you can read about here:

On you iPhone check Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar (in the calendars section). Here be sure you have selected the Calendar listed under your iCloud account ID as your default. If you haven't, make this change, then enter a new event on your phone and see if it syncs properly now.
You should be able to delete you reminders list by, from the Lists view, tapping Edit at the top, then tapping next to the list you want to delete and tapping Delete.

When I first opened the mail i didn't have the option of the "go to" and choose notes because i hadn't created the mailbox. I 've only had the mac for 3 days. None the less I created the notes mailbox which apparently falls under "Reminders".
Will this "notes mailbox" eventually sync with my ipad and iphone. I have created several notes on the ipad but still don not see them in the "notes mailbox" on my mac?

You will need to setup a new Apple ID for your sister. You have to have an Apple ID and iDevice connected and using that account to get an iCloud account.

Messages requires Mountain Lion (10.8), or higher. The beta version for Lion expired almost a year ago.
Lion still uses iChat.

perfect. ok do the following:
settings > mail, contacts, calendars > go into the exchange account. You should have an email in the account field...[email protected] or [email protected], etc.... I am assuming you don't remember the password to this exchange account so once you know the email, you can go to email providers site and click on forgot password and you will go through the steps to get a new password. Once you do this, you will need to go back into your "exchange account " and the field that has the exchange email > touch the > to open settings. Change the password to your new password you got from above. Once you do this, you can add the exchange account to your ipad and all of your contacts will sync to both devices.
Please confirm.

Itunes content ( music/vids/app) and pics can be synced with one computer at a time. If you sync to another it will first erase the content from the iphone and replace with content from the new computer.
You can sync contacts and calendars with two computers.
You can use home share to share the music between computers, allowing the same content on both computers.

You have to download the iPhone version of the app - if there are two different versions and if you do not want to pay for the iPad version.
Look in the App Store for the iPhone version and then try to download that one,

You're aware you need to use iTunes to sync apps between your iPhone and Mac unless you are running V10.7.2 and have iCloud setup.
BTW... apps that are optimized for an iPhone will not run on the Mac OS X and vice versai, two different operating systems.
