Sync itunes with atv and then delete itunes content? possible?

i have a mac book pro with a 80 gb hdd... i'm running too short of space because i have movies and music in my itunes...
is there any way to send this movies to an apple tv and watch them from there, so i can delete them from my hdd and save space?...

There are two parts to consider, moving some of the content to another location and then maintaining a split library.
To move your movies simply copy them to their new location, you'll find movies in a folder called movies in your itunes music folder which by default is your music folder. Then you can delete the originals by selecting all the movies in itunes and deleting them and choosing to move originals to the trash when prompted.
Now select all the movies you have on your external drive while holding down the 'alt' key drag them into the itunes window. This will put them into itunes without copying them to your itunes music folder again.
Once this is done and you are certain your movies work as expected you can now empty your trash.
From now on when you add content to itunes you will need to decide where you want the original to go, dragging anything into itunes will copy it to your itunes folder which is fine for your music but not what you want for movies. So when you add movies, copy them to your external drive and then from there use 'alt' + drag and drop into the itunes window.
Does that make sense.

Sync ALL photos on the iPhone with the computer and then delete

I have over 3000 photos on my iPhone that I want to sync with/copy to my computer and then delete off of my phone to make more storage available. I have attempted to open iTunes and sync but it only completed the most recent 150 that I have taken. Any recommendations? I have a PC. Thanks so much!

Thank you for the quick reply. I already attempted this. the only pictures and videos that it prompts me to import/upload are the new ones, which was approximately 150. The remainder are not being read or being asked to import. that's the issue.

If I delete my songs from my "Downloads" folder, have them in my "Trash" and then delete them from my "Trash", will I still be able to play the songs on my iTunes or will they be deleted on my iTunes as well?

I want to clear some space on my Mac since it is filling up and I don't have much room left on it. I want to delete all my songs from my "Downloads" folder and then delete them from my "Trash" to free up space however, I'm worried that if I do this then iTunes will not play any of the songs I deleted.

All tracks in iTunes (if you use default settings) should be in various artist and album folders in the main media folder in the iTunes folder. You can right click a track to reveal its location in Finder. If there's a copy there then it doesn't really matter what you do with other copies.
I have never downloaded from iTunes but I thought it placed files directly in the correct locations, or is this some other downloads folder to which you are referring?
Normally if you download a file from another source and add it to iTunes by dragging it there, or using the Add To menu item, it places a copy of the file in iTunes. You can discard the original, but if you're concerned you can check which copy iTunes is actually using as above.

Locate the song files in the Finder, drag them to a location in the /Users/Shared/ folder, load the shared iTunes library, drag them into the open iTunes application window, and delete the old iTunes library. If desired, you can move the old iTunes library to the Shared folder instead of individually moving the music files.

One option is to turn on iCloud Photo Library on the phone and go to Settings > iCloud > Photos and turn on "Optimize iPhone Storage." Then you don't delete the photo from the phone but it does occupy significantly less space. More information in iCloud Photo Library FAQ - Apple Support

It sounds like she deleted them all from your icloud account. If you have an iTunes backup, try this to possible recover your deleted contacts. http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4108
If that doesn't work, you might be stuck as Apple doesn't usually have a backup plan for intentional user deletion. You can try to call Apple though and see if there is anything else they can do to try and recover that deleted info for you.

Sync problems with ATV per HDMI and optical out

Have some sync problems with ATV (actual), TV is connected via HDMI, sound goes over optical cable into DAC (Rega) and then to the amplifier, when using only TV-sound everything is fine, switching to the external speakers brings up a little delay, around 1/10 second. Any chance to fix this?

I believe this delay is caused by the DAC, I don't think there is anything you can do about this.

- Syncing with iCloud does not move anything from the the iPod to iCloud. Some items like contacts, calendar and some app date gets synced to the cloud continuously.
- If you backup to iCloud it backs up the photos in your iPOd's Camera Roll album. If you delete some of those photos and then backup the previous backup gets overwritten with the changes and thus you can't get them back.

Once you open the files in the new version you can't open them in the old version. Pick one version to use (have to be 9 now as you already have converted files)

I find that I can sync fine with Entourage and I cal under Leopard. I can also subscribe to the Leopard I-calendar on another computer (running Tiger). However, the calendar will not go onto a web page as it used to; this is very frustrating for my colleagues! We need a fix here I think.
