Sync just flagged photos to iphone?

When I click on the photo tabs in itunes to sync photos to my phone I see events, places, people, etc, but how I can just sync photos I flagged to my phone?
I don't understand why they don't just have a box there you can check. It has boxes for almost every other group of photos, expect flagged photos.
Am I missing something?

Just create an album called iphone and put whatever you like in it. Select that album to sync with iphone.
Anything you add or delete from that album will be added or deleted from iphone when you sync.

Thanks so much Meg. Unfortunately, iTunes is the program I use to perform syncing. I don't really have other outside options. It is also the location of the backup I would use to restore my phone, and my only way to reclaim important data. I am concerned that, since the last backup occurred when the "other" bar was only moderately huge (around 29G I think), that a backup would replicate the problem back onto my phone.
My contacts, etc. are all in address book and the calendar app on my Mac. As far as I know, iTunes is the way to get them back, but iTunes is where the problem is.
Any thoughts on this?

Aperture syncing all stacked photos to iPhone.

Aperture is syncing all stacked photos in my library to my phone. I was under the impression that only the pick photo would be synced.
After some trial and error I noticed that just the pick photo is stacked when syncing a normal album.
Syncing smart albums and projects will transfer all the stacked versions.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?

As far as I know stack picks are ignored when syncing therefore the whole stack gets synced. What you want to do is assign album picks.
If you have an album and stacks in that album choose an album pick for the stack. then only the album pick gets synced.

Can't sync contacts or photos from iPhone to iPad, help!

Can someone help? I just upgraded my friends iTunes and then showed her how to sync the two (she's 70). Trouble is her contact and photos from her phone didn't transfer to her iPad. Wi-if is turned on. I made her an iCloud account and that's turned on, what am I missing?

Use the same iCloud account on the iPhone and the iPad.
The info will sync iPhone <> iCloud <> iPad.
Go to Settings > iCloud and enable everything (Contacts, Calendars, etc.)

Can not sync certain iphoto photos to iphone

I have exported some vacation photos from my home computer to a removable disc. Then uploaded them to my work computer. I sync my iphone to this computer at work. They imported fine. But when I try to sync the vacation pix to the iphone, I get and error message "Some of your photos, including the photo “DSC01524.JPG”, were not copied to the iPhone “Rayz iPhone 4G” because they cannot be displayed on your iPhone. Did I export them the wrong way? The whole album I created does not get sync to the iphone. Can someone help me with the way I'm either export them to the disc or the way I'm importing them into iPhoto. Thanks

Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for the iPod Photo Cache.
Trash it. Start iPhoto and try sync again.

How to sync flagged photos on iPad or iPhone

I recently tried to sync my iPad with iPhoto. I wanted to just transfer my flagged photos, but it doesn't want to let me do that. Does anyone know if it's possible to do this? Thanks.

I have this experience before. Here I supply some step for you ,hope that it may help you ~
First, create a folder in a specified location such as a folder in 'My Pictures' named something like 'iPod Photos'.
Otherwise ,If you want sub-folders e.g 'Zoo Trip', open up iPod Photos and create a new folder named 'Zoo Trip'.
Next drag all the pictures you want into that folder, nothing needs to be done such as rotating, re-size and such, iTunes will renderize it for you.
Although if you spend time cropping the pictures into a 320x480 image they turn out as a great portrait image on your iPod.
Connect your iPod to iTunes and select Photos on your device main page.
Browse for the folder you created called 'iPod Photos'. Press OK.
Click Selected folders or leave it as all photos. Your sub-folders should appear, if so, you are doing great so far.
Once done, click apply or sync done to the bottom right. Let it load the images onto the iPod, after all this, you should now have sub-folders in your iPod photos.

Can't view synced photos on iPhone 5S

The girlfriend recently upgraded her iPhone 4S to the iPhone 5S.
The 4S was running ios7 and all photos in events and albums synced from iPhoto could be viewed.
Since she backed up her new 5S from her 4S back up she can only view a fraction of the photos that were visible on the 4S.
When you go into Settings- General - Usage it says they are all on her phone. Its taking up many Gigabytes of data but when u go into the photo app there are little to no photos in any albums or events.
I have photo stream off and icould turned off in reagrds to anything photo related. Since they are all on my laptop and not on the cloud i didnt not think that has anything to do with the issue at hand.
Nothing on the camera roll has been affected just strictly photos synced from iphoto from my laptop.
Can anyone shine some light on the irritating siutuation???

You might try syncing again. Each time you sync Photos via iTunes, the photos on the phone are supposed to be set identical to the current photos in the iTunes settings. I would sync as follows: for the first sync, after you have connected the phone and opened iTunes, go to the Photos tab in iTunes and remove the check mark beside "Synch Photos from" and then do the sync. That should remove all of the previously synced photos from the phone. After verifying that has happened you could then change the iTunes settings to select the desired photos and sync again and see if they sync correctly.

I just tried to sync my wife's new Iphone with "my" ITunes. Bad mistake!! I guess "my" itunes thought her phone was mine and "somehow" went into "restore" mode and basically turned "her" phone into mine - ie. contacts, photos, etc.
Can your have two phones one Itunes?? Or should I just open a new Itunes account on her computer and "start" from scratch?? If I do the later, how do I transfer all the music on "my" Itunes to hers???

You can sync as many iphone/ipads/ipods as you like to one computer/library.

I have created a photo folder which I want to use to sync photos with. I set up iTunes to sync just that folder. I added 4 new photos to the folder on my iMac, then tried to sync, butt he photos were not sent to my iPhone. Why not?

Syncing photos via iTunes - getting new error message" "the iphone could not be synced because the connection to iphone was lost"

I am trying to sync photos in a dedicated file on my desktop with the photo library on my iPhone 4S. Something I have done many times before.
Since upgrading to iTunes 11 I get this message "the iphone could not be synced because the connection to iphone was lost" midway through the sync. I do not understand this as I am syncing via the USB lead, so how can the connection be lost?
Bascially I just want to update the photos on my iPhone with new photos I have added to the file I use on my computer.
Any help or ideas would be gratefully received. Thanks.

Iphone 4 will not sync all my photos after lion update

I just upgraded to Lion, and my iphone 4 will no longer sync all my photos. Nearly 600 are missing. I recieved the below error message -
Some of your photos, including the photo "AANP.JPG", were not copied to the iPhone "My iPhone" because they cannot be displayed on your iPhone.
All my photos were showing before I upgraded to Lion. All the files in question are a .jpg format
Here is what I have tried/checked-
I made sure all my photos were checked when syncing my iphone to itunes
I restored my iphone to orginal settings (it shows that there should be 1900 photos in itunes, but my phone only downloads 1300 of them)
I have made new albums and folders to get the files to show, but oddly enough my phone will not download them.
I do know about the article that says I need to restore the iPhone photo cache...and maybe I am slow, but I have no idea how to find the cache to clear it. I realize there is a tab in itunes that says photos, but how do I clear the cache from here?? The article is very confusing, and I really need more detailed directions.
The article says - If you need to free up space on your hard drive, or are directed to do so by another article, you can locate and remove the iPod Photo Cache folder(s).

Which is all well and good, but where do I find this cache???

Update - I found the iphoto cache deleted it. This did not work.... it still cannot find the photos. I then placed all the photos on my desktop and synced my phone to the folder. It found ALL the pictures on my desktop folder. I would still prefer to find a fix, so I can sync my photos to iPhoto....
