Sync multiple Iphones to one calendar

Hello,
I use ical to schedule employee's on there work day. Now that they have Iphones! {3gs}
I was wondering the best way to have ical from my 27"imac auto update the calendar's on their iphones, as in schedule change or what not.. I have tried to publish the work calendar this doesn't seem to auto update on the iphones {or am I missing something here}
Thanks in advance
Chad

I have a similar question and don't want to start a new thread for this. I have an iPod touch and I plan buy an iPhone, too. I have purchased quite a few apps from the app store in the past and I'm wondering if it is possible to sync the apps to more than one mobile device at the same time? Possbile or is there a limitation on how many devices an app can be synced too (because you actually purchase just 1 license)?

  • Sync 2 iPhones to one calendar through MobileMe

Has anyone synced 2 iphones to one calendar through MobileMe? I want to have the ability to have my wife's iPhone synced with the same calendar. I would like the phones synced so If I make changes on my phones calendar, they will automatically update on her phone through MobileMe. Does anyone know if it is possible to do this?

    That is how mobileme works!
My wife has MacBook Pro and a 2G iPhone, I have a Mac Pro and 3G. Calendars on all four devices in sync usually within a minute or two, whichever one is being used to add the info. Same for addresses and bookmarks.

  • Sync multiple iPhones with one iTunes

Can iTunes 8 on one system, sync and backup multiple iPhones?
    Tnx

Can you provide some details on how you set this up? I have been tinkering and currently have an account for me on our iMac and an account for my wife. My original thought was I needed to sync my iphone when I was logged on and she would need to sync hers when she was logged on. But I want to be able to buy songs, movies, etc on itunes once and be able to sync to one or both iphones. Also want to be able to have our own contacts but also share common ones. Also would like to be able to each have our own calendar, but share appointments/events that are common, so we only have to type them in once. Is it possible to have the best of both worlds? Is any of this documented in an iTunes/iPhone advanced user manual? Thanks for any help. best wishes.

  • Syncing multiple iphones to one ical.

I synced my iphone to ical and all the entries I had on my iphone went into the calendar on the computer. I then tried syncing my husband's iphone to ical as we want to share the same calendar. The items from my phone that had been transferred to ical, were transferred to his phone. However, none of the unique entries that he had on his iphone were transferred to ical on the computer. I can't seem to find any way of making this happen. Help!

My wife and I share almost everything...so when we purchase apps, we use the same Apple account. We have one account with AT&T with two phones. We also have one account at the apple store and charge everything to a specific credit card that has a very low monthly ceiling. This allows us to download the apps to our iphones from different computers. When I buy an app or download a free one, she logs in with our account and is eligible to download the app too. I think it is OK with Apple but have not read the fine print of the agreement.

  • Syncing Multiple iPhones to one computer question

    Hello,
I am an iPhone owner, and I have always used my PC to sync the phone with iTunes. A friend of mine also owns an iPhone, however he doesn't have access to a computer with iTunes and was hoping to use mine. He's made several purchases between apps and music with the phone, and we want to sync some of his music from the iTunes library on my PC without causing him to lose the stuff already stored on his device. Is it possible to do this? When we tried before it looked like it was going to delete his purchases from the phone since they were not purchased with my account, which is the one I sign in to in my iTunes.
    Thanks in advance.

Itunes content ( apps/music/pics/etc) can be synced with only one computer.
If you sync to a different one, it will erase the itunes content from the iphone and replace with content from the new computer.

  • Syncing Multiple iPhones to one PC

    Hi all,
Both myself and my partner have an iPhone 3GS. We use the same Laptop to Sync etc. and also use the same Apple Account to download Music/Apps etc.
At the moment, everytime we plug our iPhones into Sync, it tries to overwrite my contacts with my girlfriends contacts etc. etc.
How can you set up iTunes and/or our iPhones to be able to sync two iPhones to the same PC without having to have the same content on each iPhone...?
    Many thanks in advance

    I have the same problem
Two differently named iphones, same iTunes account (but i'd be happy to run them on different itunes accounts)
Using different profiles isn't an option, this is a shared hotseat computer and people aren't going to be logging in and out to bring on their different profiles. That'll stop important things from running and isn't the way we want to operate. We just need her contacts to not collide with mine.

  • Can I Sync Multiple iPhones to One Macbook's Calendar and iPhoto

Hi all, my wife just bought a 5S and I'm trying to sync it to the iPhoto and the Calendar on our Macbook Pro. I already have a 4S sync'ed to the same Macbook with no problems, but we want both phones to sync with Calendar and iPhoto.
I've successfully imported her library so that we can swap between my our iTunes accounts when we plug in different phones but the calendar and the photo issue  (photostream specifically) is stumping me. So far I've had no joy through iTunes and I'd appreciate any advice.
    Thanks in advance

  • Issue syncing multiple iPhones on one computer.

    Hello all,
I don't get any errors or anything like that.
My issue is that iTunes keeps putting the wrong contact and email information on the wrong phone. Well, it keeps trying to put ALL contacts and email accounts on both phones.
I have one phone set up to only sync with Outlook Express and the Windows Address Book. That phone also is only set to sync the one and only email account in Outlook Express.
The other phone is set to sync with Outlook and the Outlook Calendar and contacts. It is also set to only sync with the two email accounts for Outlook.
I have verified that the settings show correctly for both phones in iTunes, yet when I sync a phone it puts all contacts and all email accounts onto that phone. This is rather annoying as I don't want or need the info from my wife's phone and she doesn't want or need the info from mine...lol.
The phones are 3 days old now, and I installed the latest version of iTunes the day I bought the phones. All available updates were applied to both phones before any information was set up in iTunes as far as syncing goes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it talks about iPods but the same applies to iPhones. most users employ *method two*.

  • Syncing multiple iPhones to one iTunes account on my iMac?

When we bought our four iPhones last November using the Family Plan with AT&T, we all had our own computers, two Macs and two PC's, and our own iTunes accts. So of course we all synced our phones to our own accounts on our own computers. Now I'm wondering if that was wise? I have bought several applications since 2.0 and the App Store opened, and I'd like my husband and two teenage sons to be able to sync to my computer and download the apps I've bought so we don't have to pay a fortune to get them on each phone. Is it possible to do this? I know iTunes allows syncing of up to five devices on one computer. So does this apply to the iPhone and the App Store too? If so, how do we go about doing this? I do know my teens won't want to lose their own iTunes accounts on their own computers. My husband won't care. He will want to go the route that saves him money.
    Thanks in advance, Debbie

  • TS1474 Syncing multiple iphones from one itunes account

My wife and I each have our own iphones. We use just one itunes account on our main computer at home. We each have our own apple ID's.
My question is this: Whenever we try to sync our phones to itunes, this screen appears
I have NO IDEA whaich of these to choose, because I have no idea, what's on each of these backups!!! Invariably, I end up syncing to something I don't want, and having to totally redo all my apps, contacts etc... My Wife's facebook contacts seem to always wind up on my phone! Help!!
How do you keep backups up to date and organized?

If you want to continue using one computer, you should at least give each iPhone a name.
Settings > General > About > Name: give each iPhone a unique name.

  • Syncing multiple Iphone to one Itunes account

I would like to know up to how many Iphones can we sync with just one Itunes account ?
I need to update 13 to 14 Iphones periodically

You can sync as many devices as you want to the same iTunes account, there is no limit. You can have the same content on each device or different content, the choice is yours. iTunes will keep everything straight, by device, upon subsequent syncs.
