Sync Music using Media Monkey
Hi,
After my system broke, i started using the Media Monkey to Sync Music(from my frineds Windows PC) to my iPhone. Now after updating to iOS 7.1, Media monkey is no longer listing my Phone in device list. Can some tell what needs to be done so that i can sync music using Media Monkey or any other way to sync with out iTunes.

Using Media Monkey and ITunes help
I have used Media Monkey for years to sync, burn, play... (I used to have a Sansa Mp3). I like the interface much better on Media Monkey and my children find it easier to just pull up and play music. We now have 2 ipod in our family and I am trying to get used to Itunes-not a fan yet. I want to make sure that I am not doubling up on my downloads. Can I save everything from my ripped cds to my music folder only. Sounds like Itunes automatically creates a back up folder?? Also, how do I move a song without it losing it's path in Itunes. I downloaded to my desktop so the songs were easy to find, after I added them to Itunes and Media Monkey I moved them to my music folder and Itunes could not locate the songs. So I guess overall I am trying to understand the most efficient avenue to download to Itunes and Media Monkey.
To my disappointment I have just Uninstalled Media Monkey. I was hoping to purchase the full license but the program is still in its development stage. It is full of bugs.
1) The Tech support didn't even try to solve the problems 2) The tagging of files is useless. 3) creating playlists is problematic (it won't let you put the tracks in the order you want)
The best program for ripping is Nero. I have to use itunes for syncing and updating.

Can't sync music on the ovi suite to my 5800 but can sync contacts email and picture...Similar issue faced by me as well.. not all the tracks was transferred on the first sync.. so I manually copied them to device. But tried the second time, this time I deleted all the songs in device and transferred using Ovi suite, surprisingly it worked this time

Audio/Video Out of Sync While Using Media Manager
While viewing most video files through Media Manager, the audio is a fraction behind the video. It is not significant but it is noticeable. I have looked at the Media Manager sticky but the posts are on all different areas where the Media Manager is flawed.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to correct this issue? I may just go back to using my original set-up. It's very surprising how bad this application is. Any suggestions would be appreciated.Hi mhiggins8450, I just read your post about the trouble you're having with the Media Manager. Have you had this problem since installing the software or has this issue just started recently? If it's been a problem since the beginning, you may want to look at removing the software and reinstalling a fresh copy. The newest version can be found at:

If it's a problem that just started happening, you may want to try and reset the units. The best way to do this would be to power down your PC, unplug the router and unplug your STB. Leave everything unplugged for five minutes. From this point, plug the router back in and wait for it to boot up (the Internet light will go GREEN when it's complete). Now plug the STB back in and wait for the time to display on the front of the box. Now turn your PC back on. Test the Media Manager and see what happens.

All of a sudden i cant connect to Nokia Music using Media Transfer.
It was working 2 weeks ago but now it wont recognise the phone, i have uninstalled all nokia apps and reset my phone to the way it was when i bought it and still no joy.
Any ideas?

I have reinstalled the connectivity driver, but that didn't help. I reset the computer back to the day before I bought my phone, deleted all Nokia software (from my previous phone) and then reinstalled everything from scratch, but still the software for both Nokia Music and Ovi can not find the phone at all. I can move things from the PC to the phone using 'Mass Storage', but neither 'Media Transfer'nor 'PC Suite' work at all.
Tech Support Finland tell me they do not support this product in Finland, so despite hours spent emailing them and trying to fix this myself, it looks like the phone will be going back to the store this week. -
My iPod 4G, after a reset and iOS6 install, after I recopied and synced music, is missing most album art. Even songs directly downloaded from iTunes are missing album art. I'm using iTunes 11.0.1 on Windows Vista. My iPod isn't full. Whenever I go to "On This iPod" and add album art and sync, nothing happens. Please help :/
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings

I just got a new itouch and cannot load any music or media onto it using the newest version of itunes. Every time I try the loading bar at the top says "finding purchased items" and then everything locks down and I have to force quite out of itunes. How do I make this stop???
Make sure the computer is authorized. From the iTunes menu bar click Store / Authorize This Computer.

I synced music from windows media player onto my ipod nano. Windows media says it's all downloded but none of the songs show up on my ipod. Why is that? Can you not sync music from windows media player even though windows media player lets you?

You probably have your nano's disk-use enabled. This enables you to use your iPod as an external disk. Windows Media Player does sync music, but it only transfer it to the iPod as normal data file you put into it, which iPod Nano will not show the songs in the player, but if you access the iPod from My Computer, you might able to see the files.
Meanwhile, iPod only read and understands files that synced into it by using iTunes. The songs are renamed and put into the iPod filesystem hiddenly. If the above information contains errors, please correct me.

Long Time to Sync Music (Media Player, with files on network drive)
Hello there,
I've set up my fab new Curve 8520 with the new version of Desktop Software. Sync is working fine for Outlook organizier information.
I use Media Player to manage my music. The library is on my PC, but the mp3 files themselves are on a network drive (mapped as a drive letter).
The music sync does work, but it takes ages for it to (1) show the songs / albums / playlists everytime you click the music button (20-30 minutes) and (2) it also takes a similar length of time to sync (even if you only sync one song!)
So it works, but it is not really usable. It seems to me that the Desktop Software is checking every file in the library every time I enter the music button, which is overkill.
Any suggestions would be very welcome. Thanks.I think I solved the problem. I just had to switch the location of of the itunes library from the default to the network drive and it found the files. Funny how itunes could find the library to play songs but the ipod couldn't when syncing.

I just got a new macbook pro. How do I get the 900+ songs that I took off of cds into iTunes on my computer from my iPhone. I had no problems syncing the music I had purchased from iTunes. I have tried to sync it using iTunes match, this did not work. I would like to have access to my full library without going into the user profile of my old computer, which is on my new computers hard drive. I would like to eventually delete the old profile so that I have more space on my hard drive.

i use iphone 4s on ios 7.0.4 but it dosent sync music with itunes 11.1.5.5 i tried everything but dosent work !!!

iPhone 6 will not sync music. This has become a problem since using itunes 12. It also will not sync all my pics and video's with my iPad 4 either. i am unable to sync music from my computer to my iphone 4S i receive an error message stating that it requires 11.1 or later and that i need to go to the itunes website to download that, ive done that and still am unable to proceed.
Okay, you are using Windows 7. What version of iTunes do you have. Please don't tell me the most current one, go into Help then About iTunes and read what it says.
