SYNC new mbp with other devices?
New (refurbished, purchased from Apple) MacBook Pro, migrated from MacBook Air, but now not synced with phone & iPad.
How to SYNC MY:
MacBook Pro ( OS X.10.1 ) ?
iPhone 6 ?
iPad 8.1.2 ?

It sounds like you aren't able to see your iOS devices in iTunes to sync to them. If that is the case use the troubleshooting in the following article, named:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for OS X
Follow these steps to resolve your issue:
If you haven't connected your iOS device to this computer before, unlock the device and tap Trust. Learn more about the Trust This Computer alert.
Restart your iOS device.
Restart your Mac.
Make sure that your Mac meets the minimum system requirements for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Install software updates on your Mac.
If an iTunes update is available, apply the update.
Check USB connections. iOS devices need USB 2.0 to work properly. If you're not sure your Mac has USB 2.0 ports, check the computer's specifications.
Disconnect other USB devices and connect your device directly to a USB port on your Mac.
Try another USB cable.
If that is not what is happening, would you mind elaborating on what is happening when you try to sync your devices? Is there an error message of any sort?

Sign into your account in iTunes - from that page you should be able to deauthorise ALL 5 authorised computers - supposedly you can do this once a year.
Thereafter any devices you no longer have will be deauthorised, and you can reauthorise those you still have or are new.

My ipad don't sync with other devices. It works in my iPhone, IMac. At iCloud web page is ok also, but not in my IPad. The settings are the same in both my IPhone and my IPad.
Make sure you are using the same Send & Recieve address on the iPAa as you are using on the iPhone (and that it is an address registered with your AppleID).

I have a new iPhone 4s. I have a home wi-fi network using Cisco Linksys2000 router with all settings per this article - phone will not see network if set to 5 GHz channel width - solution?? 2.4 works but is not optimal with other devices in home (computers; tivo). Have others seen this? Any advice is much appreciated.
Stephen Spark is right - your best alternative is to use a simultaneous dual band wireless router like the AirPort Extreme. Your Cisco Linksys2000 is not a dual band router, meaning that it will be constrained to operate at the slowest speed of all the devices on your network.
The AirPort Extreme's dual networks will support all your 802.11n devices as well as all your 802.11b/g devices on both the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequencies simultaneously. -
I cannot find how to keep previous photo albums loaded on Ipad when syncing new ones with iTunes. The old ones are wiped out every single time
If it's not too late, see Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device. As long as you have a backup of the device when the device still held your photos you should stand a chance of recovering them using a tool such as iPhone Backup Extractor.

Itunes 11.1.5 (MacBook Pro,OS 10.6.8) will not sync new apps with iPhone 5 iOS 7.0.6 and gives grayed out "install" no message? How does one work around this?
Just reboot your laptop... While its rebooting try to reboot your phone also by holding the home and power buttonn for 10-15 seconds...When your phone is turned off try to connect it to iTunes and it will recognize your phone in recovery mode.
If you have the .ipsw file for iOS 7.0.6 saved in your desktop then in itunes press shift and click on Restore.
Select the ipsw file and let it restore.
If you dont have it downloaded then simply click on restore.

I just got tOhe iPhone 4Gs today and had contacts and photos uploaded from another phone synced new phone with iTunes for music and accidentally restored it so all my old iPhone stuff is on the new one is there any way to fix this ?! Please help !!!!

My iPhone has my old email set up throught iCloud. How do I reset my new username with the device without deleting everything. And if I have to delete my old account, will everything (contacts, pictures, games, apps, etc.) be erased from my phone.
Your old ID connects to an icloud account containing all your data (email, contacts, etc.) If you then use a different ID, you will connect to a different account, which results in losing all your "apple" data, like emails, contacts, calendars, etc.
However, Apple IDs are also used to connect to an itunes store account, with is different. You can keep using the old itunes store ID to keep all your purchases (but if you change to a different ID, you will lose all purchased items) and use the new ID for icloud (but losing emails, contacts, etc. from the old account). -
I currently have a mbp 2.3 gighuz intel core 7 16 gig of ram with two internal hard drives ( took super drive out) which for a video editor like myself is a dream I can edit video anywhere, my question can I order a new mbp with 2 internal flash drives?
I wouldn't think so because the newer ones with Retina displays don't have an internal SuperDrive that can be replaced. Therefore the newer logic boards wouldn't have the two SATA/SATA Express connections on the logic board.
At least that was the case as of 2012. I've seen newer ones and they also don't have a SuperDrive. -

In the latest iOS updates, did Apple change the way Airplay communicate with other devices through Wifi?
Detailed:
We had a glitch with our Apple TV 3A 3-4 weeks ago and had to factory reset it (we reconfigured it with the exact same configuration than before the crash), it's now running iOS 7.0.2, I can't saw which version it ran before the problem though.
It's used in a business environment with 30+ iPads 2, half of them are updated to 8.1.1 and the other half to 8.1.2. We use the latest iTunes version.
Before the glitch that required a reset, all the iPads were detecting and mirroring when needed to the Apple TV, but now the iPads don't see the Apple TV in their list of Airplay devices anymore (but they detect various other devices inside our network).
I have to add that our Apple TV is able to navigate the movie store correctly, so I assume that it's not an internet restriction issue from our end (also, the APple TV do not see either any of the many iPads on its device-detection screen.
We successfully connected an iPhone 5S and an iPhone 6 through P2P Airplay, so it's not the issue, but when we connected the iPhones to our Wifi network (Same as all the other devices are using) the Apple TV suddenly disappeared from the choices.
Hence the reason why I inquire to the possibility that some changes were made in one of the latest iOS revisions, if so, we would require some details so we can adjust our Wifi configuration accordingly to allow the proper detection of devices.
P.S. I tried the basic troubleshooting of Airplay problems with no avail. Airplay button is displaying on the control panel, Airplay do not show the Apple TV at all (so it's not either the trick to display the Mirroring button), we also already proceeded to the suggested devices reboots, so my issue is quite more complex I believe.

File sharing on smart phones is generally through an app like Dropbox or similar. iPhone also provides file transfer via iTunes in many cases. On a non-Smartphone, file-sharing is generally accomplished through syncing to a computer or by Bluetooth file transfer (though phone-to-phone transfer is not generally possible).
So, file sharing is quite possible, but it will probably involve using some computer or service as an intermediary if the phones involved use different operating systems or don't directly support file transfer. -
Does the new MBP with gt 750m get too hot while gaming?
I am planning to buy the new MBP with gt 750m and upgrade the cpu to intel i7-4960hq (2.6 GHz, 3.8 GHz max) but I am really confused. I am not going to use it for hardcore gaming but I will occasionally play Dota 2 and Civ 5. Additionally I will be using SolidWorks. I really want to know if it is capable of running these games/programs without generating too much heat because heat is a total dealbreaker for me.
My second question is about to CPU's heat generation. With the increase in clock speed as far as I know it is expected to generate more heat. I really want to learn if the cooling system is efficient enough for a system that has both i7-4960hq and GT 750M GDDR5.I've had the original MBP, the 2.33 C2D, the 2.4 C2D, and just got a 2.5 C2D. I'm amazed at how much cooler the new ones run. Even doing the extended hardware test on AC power the fans never got over 3500rpm (the earlier machines would have been blasting at maximum rpm). I can run things at 100% processor tasks using both cores and still keep it on my lap. I'm just amazed at how much this hasn't been commented on. To me this is the big improvement in the new processors, the heat is now finally tolerable in an Intel based Mac laptop.

Thanks!good news. The trick is to delete the "logic pro 9" by dragging the App from Finder->Applications to trash bin, and re-doanload and re-install it again. Now it's happily downloading 19GB contents without asking for SN.
Thanks Pancenter for your message. This is is brand-new MBP with Retina display, and I didn't find or delete and reg file for logic. Simply delete the app under installation (not in the launch pad, see above) and re-install. It works for the 2nd try. It could be a SW integration bug.
