Sync Nokia n97 with iTunes?
I've read many different ways and some which don't seem to work so here goes!
I have a PC with the up to date iTunes where ALL my music is stored. How do I sync my Nokia n97 with iTunes?
Any help is appreciated!
There's a free app / iTune plugin that makes your N97 appear as a playlist in Itunes but you can't (or couldn't) then create separate playlists for use on the phone.
I've found the best way for me is to do the following:
Create your playlist in Itunes
Create the PLaylist in Ovi Music
Darg and drop the files from itunes to Ovi
Sync the Ovi Playlist with your N97
Bit painful but it works

I have a macbook pro, and am trying to update my software. I recently bought an iphone 5, and my software is to out of date to sync my phone with itunes. I currently am running 10.5.8 and I need to update to atleast 10.6.8. Just wondering if I need to purchase it from apple or if there is an easy/free way to update it.

When I try to sync my iPod with iTunes I can't because it says it's over capacity. It's not. It's a 16 GB iPod, it's only 105 songs on there. No movies or pictures or such. Anybody got a word of advise? I've tried resetting the iPod but get the message that it's not possible cause i'm not connected to internet. I am though. Tried managing music manually. I've tried all the usual stuff.
Go to Settings > General > Usage and see how much is shown available and how much is in "Other".

Normally, you should be able to sync your iPhone with iTunes without losing anything
What can happen is that you might have emptied your iTunes library for any reason such as a system restore
If this is the case, you first need to Import iPhone library to iTunes and then, you'll be able to sync your iPhone with iTunes with no problem -

Connect your iPhone to your computer, launch iTunes. Make sure you see the iPhone under Devices on the left side of the iTunes window.
Then select from the menu what you want to sync.. Music / Apps / Video / Podcasts etc.

No. TM is machine specific and is not ideal for syncing machines. You need syncing software or MobileMe. MobileMe has a 2 month free trial. Oh, cloning software of specific files may work as well depending on what you are syncing.

I have changed my apple id, and its ok when i sync my Iphone with Itunes, but ON my Iphone still my old apple-ID is there. I can NOT buy things from Itunes or Upgrade anything now, how to fix this?
I recently changed my email address and want to change my Apple ID account to match. I have created a new Apple ID to match the new account but now I can't sign into iCloud on our phones or computer with the old Apple ID. I can't make any changes on iCloud on our phones because it directs me to the old account, which I can't sign into. I also can't sign me in on my computer to make any changes. Help!!! I am trying to sync my iphone with itunes on a new computer, but over 3 quarters of my music is missing. It seems that only the songs downloaded on itunes in the last 6 - 9 months have transferred. How can I get the rest of it to sync?

I have imported a new CD into my iTunes library on my PC. When I sync my iPhone with iTunes (on my pc), I don't get the new songs (or new CD). I have them on my PC but not on my iPhone. This just started to act this way. It was working in January 2013.

I have just purchased a new macbook and need to sync my iphone with itunes, i understand that you can only sync your phone with one itunes account. I do not want to wipe my iphone when syncing with this new itunes account. Any advice welcome
1) authorize iTunes on the new machine for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it. -

Please help. Every time I try to sync my iphone with itunes it gets stuck at step 2 and just spins. I have iTunes 10.6.3.25 installed. I've even shut down and rebooted. Nothing helps.
Based on what someone else said, I am getting the "rotating ball of eternal sadness". Yup. That about describes it.

IPod Touch will not Sync or restore with iTunes.
I got an iPod Touch 64G on 31/12/09. Since then I've had a very difficult time syncing the iPod with iTunes. I installed iTunes on a Dell Studio 1557 i7 720, 1.60Ghz, 4G DDR3 1067 RAM, 500G HDD, Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. When I try to sync the ipod it gives me 3 errors The iPod "Tom's iPod Touch" cannot be synced.(X3) The required file cannot be found, An unkown error occurred (-48), and An unknown error occurred (-6999). I have made sure all my drivers on the computer are up to date. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes. I've tired restarting the ipod. I've fully restored my ipod touch. None of these have fixed the issue. I get the same errors. Since I've had the ipod I've only been able to sync it 3 times, and the sync just started working by trying different things, like disconnecting and reconnecting the ipod, or switching to one of the other usb ports, but these little tricks only worked once. At this point the last failed sync has caused my ipod to only play one song and then stop playing, and many of the apps just crash. Syncing the ipod fixed this problem the one time it happend before, and it was very difficult to get it to sync also. Now it wont sync and I've tried reinstalling itunes agian which didn't help. So I'm looking for some help.

Okay ... there have been problems reported with that particular combination of the P55/PM55 chipsets, Windows 7 and syncing.
If your chipset drivers and BIOS are both up to date and you're still getting this, you might have some success using the workaround from the following post. (Unfortunately, not all BIOSes are configurable in this way.)

Hi all, Today I took a dozen of photos with my iPhone 4s running iOS 7 while I was outside (without WiFi connection). When I came back home, and connected to WiFi I exected all photos to be uploaded to iCloud (I have Photo Stream enabled and this wor
